Corpse Recovery Diver
Chapter 1880 - 338:
At this moment, Li Zhiyuan raised his head and looked towards the northeast, where a strange dark cloud was disturbing the Feng Shui atmosphere.
Li Zhiyuan:
"Time to get up."
...
Located in the outskirts of Luoyang City, Tan Wenbin drove everyone there. As they neared their destination, the car stopped, and everyone got out.
Such a significant commotion would definitely attract more than just our group, so there's no need to rush forward alone.
Walking forward, slowly approaching, they saw a large billboard at the corner of the road, below it was a liquor advertisement, and above it said "Welcome to the Luoyang Ancient Tomb Museum."
Lin Shuyou: "Is this museum really what it literally means?"
Tan Wenbin: "I read a booklet introducing it before. It seems like they relocated the excavated tombs and materials here, to reconstruct them one-to-one inside the museum."
Lin Shuyou: "So there's more than one tomb?"
Tan Wenbin: "Many tombs are inside. You can even crawl through the chambers as you visit."
Lin Shuyou: "It sounds really interesting. I'm envious of the local elementary school kids having such a great field trip spot."
There is a downhill path at the museum's entrance, flanked by commercial streets, but the business atmosphere isn't strong, with few shops, even fewer open, mostly selling local snacks.
Evidently, this museum isn't very popular, and the number of visitors is sparse.
Run Sheng's gaze fell on a small stall nearby, where they were selling commemorative items like copper coins. Run Sheng was interested in a set of shovels, palm-sized, in a plastic bag, like small toys.
Tan Wenbin bargained and bought it, handing it to Run Sheng, saying:
"Since we're here, take it back as a souvenir."
Run Sheng touched it and said, "I thought it was plastic."
Tan Wenbin: "Plastic feels worse."
Run Sheng: "But plastic burns better."
Tan Wenbin: "Are you giving Meng Meng a Luoyang Shovel, hoping she'll dig herself out of the underworld?"
Run Sheng: "I just want to tell her where we've been."
As Tan Wenbin was about to say more, his expression changed suddenly, and he said:
"Brother Xiao Yuan, she's here too."
The peculiar meteorological phenomena here are open to view; it's quite normal for Chen Xiyuan to be attracted here.
Currently, both parties are separated by a considerable distance; Li Zhiyuan and others are still on the street below, while Chen Xiyuan is already at the ticket checkpoint above.
Tan Wenbin: "Does she seem to wait for trouble to find her, just like us?"
Lin Shuyou: "Probably because she's strong and confident."
Tan Wenbin patted Lin Shuyou's shoulder: "Ah You, you've made progress."
Lin Shuyou: "Huh?"
Tan Wenbin: "Nothing."
Unable to stare at her for too long from a distance, Tan Wenbin diverted his gaze, turning back a few moments later.
"Huh, she's gone?"
After entering the ticket checkpoint, there's quite a long staircase up. Unless Chen Xiyuan uses a movement technique, as long as she moves like a normal human, she shouldn't leave their sight.
Li Zhiyuan: "Inside the museum, an array has been set up by someone."
Tan Wenbin: "What about us?"
Li Zhiyuan: "We'll enter later; others will probably go in too. Let them go first and give me some time to break this array."
The young man pointed to a noodle shop in front, asking, "Have you had enough?"
Lin Shuyou: "I've had enough."
Li Zhiyuan: "Then let's have another bowl of syrup noodles to aid digestion."
The noodle shop was very simple, just a tin shelter, but it was quite close to the museum's entrance.
After sitting down, Tan Wenbin ordered three bowls of syrup noodles.
Li Zhiyuan picked up the garlic on the small table and started peeling it.
Lin Shuyou: "Brother Xiao Yuan, let me peel it."
Li Zhiyuan didn't respond but the peeled garlic skins started spinning on the small table as the young man's gaze remained fixed on the museum ahead.
Turns out, Brother Xiao Yuan was breaking the array.
Lin Shuyou stood up, fetched another head of garlic from the table next door, placed his hands under the table, peeled it cautiously, fearing his peeled garlic skins might interfere with Brother Xiao Yuan.
"Syrup noodles are here!"
The owner brought the noodles.
Run Sheng lit some incense, picked up chopsticks, and started eating noodles. Tan Wenbin and Lin Shuyou followed suit, the summer heat making them appetizing.
Lin Shuyou divided the garlic he'd peeled among everyone, immediately bringing a burst of slurping sounds from the table.
As the first bowl was finished, Tan Wenbin ordered three more from the owner.
While eating, everyone's focus was on Brother Xiao Yuan's hands, the garlic skins accumulating, alternating between Yin and Yang, then speaking of the Eight Diagram.
Li Zhiyuan spoke: "There's someone inside sensing my deduction of the array, he's changing the array."
Lin Shuyou: "Is that person good at array?"
Li Zhiyuan nodded: "Yes, quite excellent, much progress."
The young man's fingertips sped up further, giving the feathery garlic skins almost a fluid texture.
Li Zhiyuan gently pressed his palm downwards with a "snap," and the garlic skins scattered into powder.
The peeled garlic was divided among his partners' noodle bowls without waste.
"That's it, I've mastered the basic operational logic of his array setup, let him keep changing it."
Lin Shuyou looked up into the air, his shuping eyes slightly widening.
Amidst the churning dark cloud above, it showed the other party was still continuing to change the array, yet their Brother Xiao Yuan had stopped playing.
After finishing the second bowl of syrup noodles, Tan Wenbin gestured that he couldn't eat anymore, having already eaten too much in the morning. However, when asking Run Sheng and Lin Shuyou, neither responded.
So Tan Wenbin ordered another four bowls from the owner.
