Peach blossoms scattered, and Old Tian finally regained his freedom, falling to one knee with a thud.

"Are you the young master?"

"I am."

"Then what are you doing on my young master's body...?"

Su Luo was pulled by a tremendous invisible force, face down, with a "bang" and smashed into the ground.

Big Beard's house used to belong to the richest man in the village, and the quality of the cement ground here was much higher than at Li Sanjiang's house, yet even so, Su Luo still made a dent in it.

"Young master!"

Old Tian felt deeply distressed. Although he didn't know who the person possessing the young master's body was, it was, after all, his own young master's body.

Just as Old Tian stepped forward with a single leap, intending to check the young master's injuries, Su Luo, lying face down, began to move swiftly across the ground, as if dragged by an invisible giant hand, sliding rapidly with a "whoosh" sound.

"Thud thud thud," after sliding down the steps of the yard, he continued to slide and scrape along the gravel ground with a "shh shh" sound.

The scene was painful to watch without needing to experience it personally.

Old Tian leapt down, wanting to grab his young master, but it was still a step too late. The young master's body was dragged into the Peach Forest, while he himself was bounced off and heavily hit the ground.

Soon after, Old Tian was lifted again.

Every time Li Zhiyuan came to communicate with that one, he carried a great deal of respect, while Tan Wenbin and Lin Shuyou were very cautious, not daring to act rashly.

Old Tian's attempt to rush into the Peach Forest was already an offense.

Simply put, no matter how good-tempered a tiger is when it's napping, it's still a tiger.

"Ya ya ya ya..."

Beng Beng waved its hands, as if it was crying.

"Thud!"

The lifted Old Tian fell back to the ground, his body twitching a few times, blood oozing from the corners of his mouth. He struggled to stand, intending to charge into the Peach Forest again, but ultimately halted.

Gritting his teeth, Old Tian clutched his chest and ran outside; he needed to find that young man, for now, he was the only one who could save his young master.

However, before Old Tian could run out of Big Beard's property boundary, a peach branch wrapped around him, lifting him forcibly and then swinging him aside, landing him steadily on a bench next to a baby crib.

The peach branch burrowed into his clothes, controlling his body, making Old Tian awkwardly bend down, pick up the fan on the ground, and start fanning steadily.

Originally in the corner, Beng Beng slowly crawled over to Old Tian's side, burying its head, breathing in the breeze while pretending to be asleep.

"Ring ring ring!"

Xiao Yingying returned riding a tricycle, carrying four vats of wine and two cans of milk powder.

Pushing the tricycle up the yard, she saw Old Tian fanning and Beng Beng pretending to sleep.

Xiao Yingying turned her gaze towards the Peach Forest.

Then she said nothing, simply moving the purchased items into the house, then bringing out materials and starting to make paper crafts.

Compared to the cement and gravel road, the soft soil under the Peach Forest felt more welcoming.

Provided one didn't consider the soil constantly invading the nose and ears, nor the increasing speed.

"Splash!"

Su Luo was thrown into a pond.

The pond was small, about the size of an average household's square table, but its surroundings were well furnished with musical instruments, chess, calligraphy, and painting, along with wine vats as decoration.

A man in wide-sleeved robes had his back to the pond, painting.

Su Luo emerged above the surface, blood dripping from his face into the pond.

"May I ask who you are..."

The man's brush paused slightly.

The peach blossom imprint on Su Luo's forehead flashed, and he was once more slammed hard into the water.

After a long time, Zhao Yi resurfaced.

"Hoo... hoo... hoo..."

Previously, he could hold his breath underwater for long periods, but this time he awoke underwater, his chest already out of breath at the start.

This damned small pond was so deep that Zhao Yi nearly drowned in it.

Glancing around rapidly to assess the situation, Zhao Yi spoke:

"You must believe me, I came empty-handed, not planning to come now. Who knew I'd suddenly have an episode, and that one is a lunatic; he must have seen the peach blossoms blooming beautifully here and wandered off track."

A peach branch came down, first binding Zhao Yi, then lifting him up, and finally tightening!

"Hiss... ah..."

Zhao Yi immediately felt as though his body was nearly squeezed to the point of bursting.

Even so, Zhao Yi dared not resist. Even if he had made significant progress in the previous wave, facing such an existence, not resisting might at least leave a theoretical chance of survival, while resisting would eliminate even that.

The peach branch released him, and Zhao Yi fell into the pond again.

Despite his body still being in agony, Zhao Yi opened his mouth to explain:

"I'm not lying; you said I resemble you. Could I possibly do something so foolish? If you don't believe me, believe in yourself at least."

Another peach branch descended, this time not to bind him but to directly penetrate the back of Zhao Yi's neck.

Zhao Yi wished to cry out, but tiny branches spread from the neck, preventing any sound.

Then, once again, he was pulled out of the water, the peach branch continued to delve in, with its fine roots traversing inside his body.

This time Zhao Yi truly feared, for at that moment, with just a simple thought from the other side, his entire human skin could be smoothly peeled away.

The shadow of death loomed once more.

This place was not Fengdu, much less Ghost Street; he hadn't traversed the fog where the Great Emperor left clues, so if he were to die here, it would be his true death.

However, this fear came and went quickly. Having "died" twice formally, he had developed some resistance to it.
