As soon as the red dots moved out from the doorways, Meng Hu, who was right behind Chen Xing, took care of them.

Meng Hu dispatched them one by one in a single bite.

Though the zombie dogs were numerous, Meng Hu’s combat prowess was astonishing. Almost none of them managed to get close to Chen Xing.

Right in front of the menacingly glaring zombie dogs, Chen Xing had a clear path straight to the office door.

In the past, coming here had always made her uneasy, but this time, she was remarkably calm.

Her skin was charred black from head to toe, and her clothes were riddled with burnt holes.

"Chen Xing, are you okay?" Hao Wenli took a moment to compose herself, forcing down the gloating expression that threatened to surface.

Chen Xing lay motionless, a charred black figure on the floor.

At that moment, the office door suddenly swung open.

A bright light streamed out, so brilliant it was blinding.

A white-haired man in his sixties with a wrinkled face stepped out and glanced at Chen Xing on the floor.

His expression was a mixture of excitement and agitation.
