Chapter 1184: Chapter 620: Extra: The Big Bad Wolf’s Overbearing Confession 1

"Mummy always squeezes into the little bed with me..."

"Rachel..."

"Hmm?"

Chester excitedly picked up his daughter and kissed her tender face firmly, "You’ve really helped Uncle a lot..."

Rachel looked bewildered.

Chester took Rachel into the car and ordered the driver, "To the kindergarten."

"Yes."

Rachel asked somewhat dejectedly, "Uncle, are you taking me back to kindergarten now?"

Chester nodded, "If Aunt PA doesn’t see you, she’ll be worried."

"Oh... But Uncle, aren’t you coming back again? Can’t I tell Mummy that you came back?"

"No." Chester reassured the visibly downcast Rachel, saying seriously, "Uncle has decided to go to Germany to find your Mummy. If your Mummy doesn’t want Uncle to leave, then Uncle will stay with you and never leave again."

Rachel’s big, bright eyes widened with delight, "Uncle, are you serious?"

Chester nodded, "When has Uncle ever lied to you?"

Rachel’s eyes filled with unshed tears as she jumped into Chester’s arms, "Uncle, you have to keep your word!"

Chester patted Rachel’s little head, "Uncle will go to Germany to find your Mummy, and then come back with her, okay?"

"Okay."

"Be good and listen to Aunt PA, and for now, don’t tell Aunt PA about seeing me."

Rachel nodded obediently, "Mm."

Watching Aunt PA pick up Rachel from afar, Chester’s expression suddenly turned icy, and the eyes beneath his sunglasses shot out a dangerous and piercing gaze.

The bodyguard and driver shivered at Chester’s stern face and asked, "Mr. Robinson, now go to..."

"To the airport."

"Yes."

Germany.

Early in the morning, Keith Antony came to pick him up.

Seeing the big boss with a stern face coming down from the plane, Keith Antony cast a puzzled glance at the subordinate who accompanied Chester to Paris.

The subordinate gestured to Keith Antony, indicating that he would explain later.

Keith Antony quickly caught up with Chester and tentatively asked, "Boss... You just got off the plane, are you tired? Let me take you to the hotel first..."

Chester lightly replied, "To ’Yorna’."

Keith Antony was a bit confused but dared not ask more, "Yes."

"Yorna" hotel.

Through the thin black lenses of his sunglasses, Chester gazed at the heavy dark brown door in front of him.

His stern and severe appearance exuded an aura of aloofness, and his proudly erect figure radiated an innate superiority.

Keith Antony stepped forward, asking, "Boss, do you need me to knock?"

"No." Chester removed his sunglasses, revealing his bright and spirited eyes, "You all step back."

"Yes."

Keith Antony retreated and lined up with the other bodyguards.

Chester reached out and pressed the doorbell, the sound clearly transmitted to Chester’s ears through the door.

Then, a slender figure and a clear voice appeared from behind the door.

"Who..."

Alice Robinson looked at Chester, her questioning voice stuck in her throat.

"It’s me." Chester answered naturally.

Alice Robinson stared at Chester in astonishment.

She had heard that the "QCS" project in Germany was already handled and that "Geoffrey" was taking over. Not hearing anything from him in the past couple of days, she assumed he had already left Germany.

His response was so natural it was as if she’d been waiting for him all along.

"What do you want?" she asked him coldly.

As for Chester, she couldn’t figure him out.

They were strangers when they hadn’t met, but after meeting, he acted as though he was nostalgic for the past. Yet, in reality, he wasn’t attached to her at all, and she didn’t care either.

She didn’t want to tangle with him and cause a misunderstanding with Claud Laurence, so she had to build up a defense and maintain a strong posture.

"Can I come in and sit for a while?"

Chester spoke warmly, unaffected by Alice Robinson’s indifferent attitude.

"It’s not convenient." Alice Robinson replied with an uncompromising tone.

She wouldn’t let him into the room; he was just an unfamiliar friend from the business world.

"Oh, really?" Chester responded lightly but had already planned how to break her defenses.

"If it’s inconvenient to invite me in, we can talk here just the same." Chester continually reminded himself not to rush things or be forceful with her; this little girl responds to gentle approaches, not harsh ones. If he took a strong approach, it would backfire.

"I don’t think there’s a need for us to talk... My boyfriend will be here soon to pick me up, so please leave. I need to change and go out." Alice Robinson attempted to close the door but Chester’s hand prevented it.
