Chapter 1634 - 822: It Begins

Chapter 1634: Chapter 822: It Begins

Yu Feng privately loves reading command-related books, and in this area, he is indeed quite accomplished.

Although Lin Beichen hasn’t taken over this team for long, he knows everyone’s situation inside out. He often wanders around various places privately, so he can discover a lot of situations.

That Yu Feng was the one who lost to him in the selection fight but has now become his fan.

However, the arrogance in Yu Feng’s bones is still there.

Having said these, everyone was ready. The next day, the helicopter carried them all off.

Lin Beichen never expected that he would have to go abroad again.

They arrived in a desert area where terrorists were rampant, and the International Special Forces School had already targeted a location.

As the helicopter slowly landed, the local instructor, Mr. Francis, had been waiting there.

"Mr. Francis!"

Seeing Lin Beichen, Francis was surprised.

"It really is you! I never expected that the brave warrior from back then has now become an instructor like me, how amazing."

The two hurriedly hugged.

"Let’s not talk about this now, the team members have arrived."

The team members saw Francis and saluted one after another.

"Good! All of you are outstanding individuals. Don’t worry, we know what to do, the next part is up to us."

After that, the team members were taken away.

Lin Beichen was also taken to another room by Francis.

Compared to the conditions for the soldiers, the treatment for the instructors is indeed much better, there’s no shortage of food and drink here, it’s quite an enjoyable place.

"Lin Beichen, although this doesn’t count as revisiting an old place, since we are both instructors, there’s no need to be overly formal. What do you think about the competition format this time?"

"Still the counter-terrorism rescue."

Lin Beichen remained calm and composed.

Previously, he was always the solo champion in this project, so everyone was not surprised to hear him make this request.

"Haha! You’re still as handsome as ever, and principled in your work, very good."

But now the situation is becoming more severe, everyone must continuously enhance their strength, otherwise, the consequences are unimaginable.

In this situation, what everyone should do is key.

"Actually, this isn’t too bad."

Lin Beichen remained calm.

"Now, what we can do is to present our best state, and not worry too much about other factors."

In this matter, everyone still has to find a suitable requirement, after all, there aren’t many topics that can be truly discussed.

"Lin Beichen!"

At this time, a voice came.

"Victor, you’ve come too."

It was only natural that two old friends reunited with another hug.

"Haha! I am now an instructor for Bear Country. I didn’t expect that this time, we would each lead a team and become rivals. But your country is pretty amazing too."

"Rest assured, this competition won’t be that easy. But your rescue operation might just become the focal point for all of us."

Lin Beichen remained the same.

"I knew you would definitely come."

Jet also appeared.

This Jet was once their opponent.

...

Finally, in front of everyone, Francis spoke.

"Alright, everyone is here, let me say something. Write down everything you need on a note, then hand it over to me."

Obviously, it’s the same old rules this time.

However, for this new team led by Chen Lin, they are not very informed about many things.

"According to past practice, we should first exchange with each other, one way or another, we must first gain each other’s trust, it’s a bit like diplomatic activities."

"No!"

Yu Feng’s suggestion was vetoed.

"I find nothing advantageous in this. My thinking is to avoid any contact with them before formulating tactics. If they really deploy some exclusionary tactics, that would be troublesome."

Having said this, Yu Feng had nothing further to say.

However, as the competition day drew nearer, everyone was mentally prepared.

"Here is the schedule."

It turns out the competition will last three weeks, with the first week being Hell Week once again.

Only now did Chen Lin understand why they were arranged to undergo combat training before setting out, it was just to have them go through a trial first.

"What the hell! Do we have to do it again?"

Everyone was a bit upset.

"Listen to me, we all went through it once before, so don’t worry. I’ve heard that the conditions here during Hell Week are relatively better than back in our place."

The team that came along this time is actually the strongest Seventh District has had in years. However, for other countries, the taste of always being second is hard to stomach.

Therefore, they are making every effort this time, determined to win the championship somehow.

The situation on the judging panel isn’t very optimistic either.

Even though this time’s chief judge was once Lin Beichen’s teacher, things are far from simple.

In this judging panel, Lin Beichen gradually sensed that things weren’t as straightforward as they seemed, as if all his previous efforts were not being acknowledged.

"I’d like to know, up to now, how exactly should this schedule be arranged? Why wasn’t my previous proposal for counter-terrorism combat accepted? Wasn’t it said there would be a final evaluation for each country? Is directly rescuing hostages, which is the most pragmatic method, not feasible?"

At this moment, the chief judge smiled.

"Lin Beichen, if you were leading the team to compete this time, I would certainly support this operational method. But the problem is, now you are an instructor, and I feel what you’ve created for the students has become outdated. If we really follow our old operational methods, do you think you could win?"
