Hearing those words, Su Qinglan froze. The crushing terror suffocating her chest loosened just a fraction. But she immediately lost all her remaining composure, almost begging the system in a desperate whimper.

"Can you track her?!" she pleaded, her heart pounding. "Can you send me her location?! Please, I want to go search for her! I need to find my baby!"

The system went silent for a long time. The prolonged quiet made Su Qinglan’s heart drop to the bottom of her stomach. Was something wrong? Was she too far away?

Finally, a soft ding sounded in her mind.

A massive, brilliant holographic map of the entire Beast World suddenly expanded before Su Qinglan’s eyes. It was an insanely detailed map...far beyond anything the beastmen of this world possessed.

No one in Dragon Beast City, or even the Upper Domain, had ever seen a full world map like this. Only through the system could such knowledge exist.

Su Qinglan’s eyes frantically scanned the glowing display. She saw a tiny green dot representing her current position in Dragon Beast City... and then her gaze followed a glowing red line tracking all the way across the map.

The red dot marking Yue Yue’s location was agonisingly far away.

It was located across five vast, endless seas, deep inside an ancient mountain range on a completely different continent!

Su Qinglan’s mind went blank. Her breath caught in her throat. How could she have been taken so far away in such a short time?!

Xuyu’s gentle voice cut through her overwhelming shock.

[Host, do not worry. Yue Yue is unharmed. Nothing bad has happened to her. And do not forget...if any of your cubs face a true, life-threatening danger, the system’s automatic protective shield will instantly flare up. They will be directly teleported back to your side immediately. So please, try to stay calm.]

Su Qinglan gasped, a sudden wave of relief washing over her trembling body.

She had almost forgotten about that! The system had absolute protection protocols for her cubs. If Yue Yue was ever in true, fatal danger, the protective barrier would activate instantly, pulling her straight back home to safety!

"Thank you..." Su Qinglan wept softly, clutching her face. "Thank you so much..."

The system fell silent for a moment before speaking again, its voice unusually heavy, quiet, and tinged with a strange, lingering sadness.

[Host... something major has happened on my end. I will not be able to contact you much from now on. But please, do not worry. Nothing terrible will happen to any of your cubs...]

[...Remember, if their lives are ever in true danger, the teleportation protection will definitely activate and bring them straight back to you. Take care of yourself, Host...]

Before Su Qinglan could process the solemn, sorrowful tone in its voice or ask what was wrong, the system went completely offline.

However, Su Qinglan was far too consumed by the map to notice the system’s strange goodbye. All she knew was that her daughter was alive, and she now had an exact location!

Without wasting another second, Su Qinglan frantically turned around and ran out of the main hall into the courtyard.

"Shi Feng!" she shouted, her voice laced with urgent excitement. "Shi Feng, call An Mo back right now! Tell him to return immediately!"

Shi Feng startled, looking at her in confusion.

Su Qinglan’s eyes burnt with fierce determination. Only An Mo could take her across such a massive distance in the shortest amount of time. He was a flying beastman, and most importantly, he possessed the rare ability to manipulate space and teleport across vast distances!

"I know where Yue Yue is," Su Qinglan declared, wiping her tears away. "We’re going to get our daughter back!"

Outside the ancient mountain, the sky suddenly turned dark.

A deafening roar ripped through the heavens as An Mo landed heavily on the rocks, holding Su Qinglan tightly in his arms.

At the exact same second, a massive emerald snake burst through the surrounding forest, transforming into Xuan Long. His body was covered in blood, and his crimson eyes burnt with lethal madness.

"Lanlan?!" Xuan Long gasped, his bloodshot eyes widening in shock as he saw his mate.

"Xuan Long!!" Su Qinglan cried out, clinging to An Mo’s neck.

Before they could even speak another word, the entire earth violently shuddered!

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

An earthquake erupted beneath their feet! The ground split open into massive fissures, tossing ancient trees aside like toothpicks.

Thousands of ferocious beasts, wild animals, and panicked beastmen burst out of the forest, shrieking and screaming as they ran for their lives.

Su Qinglan, Xuan Long, and An Mo all froze, their pupils shrinking to tiny pinpricks.

Right in front of them, the massive, ancient serpent mountain was literally crumbling apart! Huge boulders rolled down the slopes like a deadly avalanche, crushing everything in their path. Clouds of thick, blinding dust billowed into the sky.

Su Qinglan’s face went dead pale. Her lips trembled violently as she looked at the map in her mind.

"N-No..." she choked out, her voice cracking with absolute horror. "Yue Yue... Yue Yue is inside that mountain!"

Xuan Long’s and An Mo’s expressions completely cracked.

"YUE YUE!" Xuan Long roared, his voice shaking the heavens as he prepared to throw himself straight into the collapsing mountain.

Meanwhile, deep inside the crumbling cave, utter chaos had broken out!

CRASH! BOOM!

Giant stalactites fell from the ceiling like rain. The ancient serpent carvings shattered into dust, and the glowing formations on the stone floor burst apart one by one.

"Ah!" Yue Yue squeaked, running for her dear life!

Her tiny white snake body glided frantically across the shaking stone floor, dodging falling rocks left and right. Coiled tightly in her tail was a small, glowing green crystal...the Heart of the Mountain.

The ancient spirit snake had sacrificed his core, choosing to fade away forever just so she could have a chance to escape.

As soon as the crystal had left its pedestal, it had shrunken down to the size of a small plum, and the entire mountain had instantly begun to collapse!

"I have to get out! I have to go home!" Yue Yue whimpered, tears flying from her eyes as dust blinded her vision.

She scrambled toward a crack in the collapsing rock face, squeezing her tiny body through the narrow gap. With a desperate surge of strength, she burst out into the daylight!

"I made it..." Yue Yue gasped.
