Clone Girls
Chapter 98 : Fall of the Doesson family 1
“Fuck, I’m bored.”
A young teenage boy said as he looked at the ceiling of his luxurious bedroom while laying on his back on his large bed. It was Dannie Doesson, the grandson of Alexander Doesson.
Ever since the strikes had begun, Alexander had confined their family to their private mansion in Borkian Prime. The goal was to minimize interactions with the media, who were preying on them to get any scoop.
Furthermore, after the incident that happened at one of the excavation sites, Alexander deepened his family’s confinement.
He did not necessarily fear the death of a family member, but rather the risk of something else happening and his family’s reputation being hit once again. Right now, his priority was to safeguard his business and keep his family at the helm of it, but the task was proving to be highly difficult.
In the meantime, Dannie was left stuck in the Doesson residence of Borkian Prime with nothing to do. Video Games bored him and he had no interest in reading, nor studying to inherit the business for that matter. After all, he thought that as the sole main heir to the Doesson family, he would inherit the business anyway, so why bother with complicated stuff when you would get it by not doing anything?
Being stuck did not please him in the slightest, so he complained directly to his father. His father could not do anything for him anyway, as he was in the same situation, so Dannie decided to use his most trusted usual tactics to get things when he was rejected : throw a tantrum.
He cried, broke things and did not leave his father alone. Though he was scared of his father’s possible punishment, his childish mindset won over it and he kept at it for a long time.
The result was as anyone would expect.
Not only did his father punish him for his childish behavior, but his grandfather, the one Dannie knew he should never anger, was furious. Alexander knew about his grandson’s behavior and he usually would not say anything, but this time, perhaps due to the stress the current situation created, the old man severely punished Dannie.
He confiscated all of Dannie’s stuff, made someone flail his back ten times, and confined him to a room.
Dannie’s back still hurt like hell, from the physical punishment, but it did not seem to change his mind. Despite the fear, Dannie remained who he was : a brainless rotten rich child
“Can’t I do something? I really wanna go out and do stuff!” He said, addressing his words to the only servant in the room, who had been tasked with keeping an eye on him.
Alexander had ordered that at least one servant be present all the time to survey his idiot of a grandson, though Dannie only saw it as someone to complain to.
“You cannot sir.” The man, a stoic man with a thin yet muscular build fitted into a suit and with sun glasses on despite being inside, answered matter of factly.
No women were asked to guard Dannie for obvious reasons.
“Laaame…” Dannie let out with a sigh, his interest in his conversation partner already fading.
There was a silence as Dannie seemed lost deep in thoughts. How could he get out? What ploy could he use? Playing sick? No, that would backfire immediately. Doing a hunger strike? Even worse, his grandfather might actually just cut all food coming to him until he begs for forgiveness…
He kept rolling around in his bed while grunting.
It was at this precise moment that Dannie heard a voice…
“...If you wish sir, I can let you out…”
“Hm? Really!?” Dannie immediately rose up from his bed and looked at the origin of the voice. It was the servant who had just said seconds ago that he would not let him out.
“Wait, I don’t think I’ve seen your face here before?” Dannie took a hard long time to look at the man who wore no expression. Now that he thought about it, he had never seen this man before…
“Oh, whatever, can you really let me out!?”
His rational thinking was crushed by his childish antics. Going out was his priority right now. Besides, the Doessons had a lot of servants. Dannie did not know all of them.
“But of course, so long as you promise me not to tell anyone I was the one to let you out.” The man said back. Was that hesitation? Dannie was sure about it, so he needed to make this man his allie.
“It’s a deal then! I’ll even make sure to praise you later once I’m in charge!”
“...Thank you, sir.” the man said back, bowing.
This was obviously a lie. Dannie had no intention of remembering this man. He would just use him as a scapegoat should he be caught by his father or grandfather…

“Hehehe… Freedom at last!” Dannie shouted as he strolled the streets of Borkian Prime in a happy mood.
With the help of the servant, he had sneaked out past all the Doesson’s mansion staff, and with him, he had taken a private car towards one of Borkian Prime’s main districts.
“Hm? Where did that guy go?” Now that Dannie looked around, he seemed to have lost all traces of the servant who had accompanied him. Perhaps it was because he feared anything might happen to Dannie, but the servant had kept close to Dannie.
“Oh, whatever. Now where should I go…” Dannie’s train of thought stopped here. For all he cared, the servant was actually a bother. Besides, he had made sure to take some money with him, so he did not feel the need to have a guardian chaperone him.
He would only need to make sure to find that guy once he was done. That would be a simple task, right?
And so, Dannie went around happily as he strolled like a tourist in the streets. He entered some shops, then threw a tantrum when he was told he did not have enough money to get what he wanted. When he mentioned his family, the business owners immediately folded and gave him what he wanted, giving him a sense of confidence that using his family’s name to get whatever he wanted was how the world should work.
After a while, he spotted a beautiful woman in the streets. That woman immediately caught the attention of his teenage lustful mind.
“Oh! A clone!” He blurted out.
Yes, the woman was a clone, no doubt about it. She had white hair, which caught the attention of any passerby.
The sight of clones in the streets of Borkian City was pretty rare, but it did happen from time to time as you went closer and closer to the military academy. The people living nearby were already used to seeing them.
Some clones also seemed to be patrolling around, as they were armed, but that did not give any problems to local civilians. The clones acted as a sort of police in the area and earned the favor of all the merchants in this district.
The clone Dannie had spotted did not seem to be on a patrol, though she did wear a grey military uniform with bronze decorations.
“Hey there! You clone over there!” Dannie shouted, rushing after the clone.
The clone stopped, turning her head and facing him. Just as he had thought the woman was beautiful from close up, and had big breasts, something he favored when looking up women.
The clone looked very similar to the one he had seen near his sister a few days ago, though at the time the other ones appeared younger, and had black tips at the end of their otherwise white hair for some reason.
Now that he thought about it, these clones did look quite close to that one woman, who was always near his sister in the past, but that was as far as his thought process went. He did not care after all.
What he did care about however was to satisfy his lustful urges.
And what better way than doing that than having this beautiful clone ‘serve’ him?
This clone was his sister’s ‘property’, which meant it was his too, right? After all, Rika was his sister, and he had been told everything his sister owned was rightfully his…
“Be grateful, I chose you to become my plaything!” He said in a high voice. Passerby gave him a weird look, but otherwise did nothing and went on.
“... I refuse.” The clone woman replied in a cold ice tone, her face void of emotions. That answer seemed to baffle Dannie.
“Wha-!? You can’t refuse!? I’m your owner! Everything my sisters own is mine, so play with me!” Dannie said in an angry voice. He was beginning to throw a tantrum.
“No.” The clone replied coldly.
“HEY! Don’t you know who I am!? I’m Rika’s younger brother for fuck’s sake! If you don’t obey me, I’ll tell dad and grandpa and you’ll have a problem with them!” Dannie let out these words, though he would be the one in trouble if he really told all this to his father and grandfather…
“...” The clone remained quiet. In fact, she just rolled her eyes, let out a small sigh that showed how much she thought of Dannie as a bother and then turned, ready to leave.
This infuriated Danie. He reflexively grabbed her arm and tried to pull her towards him.
“You’re coming with me you insolent wen-Buagh!?”
Dannie did not have the time to finish his words, a leg had lodged itself right in between his own two legs, reaching his groin. For a moment he heard something break, before he lost consciousness…
“...” The clone girl responsible for his state simply lowered her leg and let out a huff as passerbies looked on in shock. None of them intervened however.
“...As efficient as ever, sister Breesse.” A voice said from the crowd as another clone girl emerged, looking impressed. She wore the same military uniform.
Breesse hmphed.
“I am merely applying the teachings of Prime Sister Licia and Mother.” She said, though if Ticia heard what she did, she would on one side approve the move, but on the other also cringe. She did not teach her daughters to be ‘egg breakers’...
Breeze and her sister had only been given one order, and that was to go around the district and catch Dannie’s attention, then to take him as a prisoner once he tried to do something to them that was close to harassment. It never stipulated that they needed to make Dannie seedless…
“Anyway, we got him, it’s time to go back home.” The other ECG said, looking at the fainted Dannie who was on the ground, foam in his mouth, with a disgusted look. Breeze nodded.
While the ECG came closer to Dannie and began carrying him, Breeze put a finger on her earpiece.
“The target had been acquired. All units, retreat.”
““Roger!””

“HE DID WHAT!?” Alexander’s voice rang through the room, nearly breaking Davie’s ears.
“Dannie… Dannie somehow went out and got himself into trouble…” Davie said to his father in a weak voice, sweating bullets. His father was more than angry, he was furious.
“That fucking idiot! I knew we shouldn’t have brought him here!” Alexander cursed at Dannie.
“I’m sorry father.” Davie could only bow and say sorry. It only directed his father’s ire towards him however…
“This is entirely your fault. Had you nurtured him a bit more instead of running after women’s skirts he would not have turned into such a burden.” Alexander blamed him as he let out a long exasperated sigh.
“I have no excuse, so please calm down father. Anger is bad for your blood pressure…”
“And whose fault do you think that is?” Alexander once again sighed. “This whole week has been a disater…”
This close. He had been this close to achieve his dream, and now all was going down the drain.
First the hostile takeover threat, then the strikes and the mobbing of the site manager, now this. Alexander really did not need this kind of problem.
“Investigate who let him out. I want that person’s head.”
“Yes, father.”
First of all, he needed to deal with the internal problems. He never thought the personnel of this mansion had been this careless. He had made sure their loyalty to him was total, so how did this happen?
After a while, Davie came back.
“I’ve found the reason.” He said. “One of the new recruits is missing…”
“Don’t tell me…”
“He was probably the one who let Dannie escape…”
“How could this happen?” Alexander let out another sigh of frustration. He was sure he had done the most thorough check in of all his personal staff.
But it appeared Davie had more to say…
“F-furthermore… we led a quick investigation. It appears that the man himself has been dead for more than a few days…”
“What!? So the one who took the job…”
“The one who took the job was not him to begin with. We were infiltrated.”
“...Do a quick check on all servants RIGHT NOW!”
“Yes father!”
Alexander was flaggerblasted. He had checked the past of each employees himself and surveyed them. His job was flawless and such an error could not be simply caused by his age. Just what had happened? Did someone hack their way into the files?
He ordered a quick check on all personnel, but he knew this was not good. Now paranoïa was beginning to take root in him. He needed to find an answer quickly…
“What did Dannie do anyway to get into trouble?” He asked nobody in particular as he held his head, it felt heavier these days…
“That…” Davie heard his voice. He hesitated, but he ended up answering with shame in his voice. “He tried to assault a clone…”
“HE WHAT!?” Alexander stood up as he shouted in complete shock, but nearly fell down in the process.
“C-calm down father!” Davie closed up to his father and helped him, supporting him as he put him back on his chair.
“Can’t he keep it in his pants!? Why did he lust after those women so much!?” Alexander cursed once again.
At the same time, a servant entered the hall.
“S-sir, a legal invoice just came in from the President’s office…” The servant said meekly, afraid of his patron who clearly was in a bad mood…
“Haaa… This is just the worst…” Alexander sighed another time as he regained his calm.
He did not even need to guess what the invoice was. It was about what Dannie did…
What Dannie did was technically an attack on the president of the Borkian Confederation’s security group.
The clones, with Rika at their head, had been designated as the president’s personnel guard. While it was only announced and no official ceremony had taken place yet, it remained a fact.
Attacking a member of the president’s security was certainly considered a great offence, though. Alexander had studied the laws of the Borkian Confederation very thoroughly, so he knew of this law despite the fact that the presidential guard role had been left vacant for so many years…
“Davie, I hope you understand, but we have to repudiate that scum right now. You’ve got other sons who are smarter who can take his place anyway.”
“...Yes, I understand father.”
Davie could not say anything to his father’s cold words. He also knew he was right. Davie was not the best father around here, but it did leave him with a bitter taste in his mouth.
Alexander was already considering his grandson as a dead person after all…
What waited for Dannie now was a complete ban from the Doesson family, who would deny all responsibility with what just happened. They were not the one at fault, Dannie was.
Still, while this might help them on the legal side get rid of any possible problems, it did not help their already low popularity. Not only had one of them done this to the president’s guard as well as a soldier under Rika, the Unkillable Valkyrie, who still held quite the fame among regular folks, but they also showed how ruthless they were to their own family members should they be a burden…
“S-sir…” Another servant came into the room with a hesitant look. Alexander could guess it was more bad news…
“What now? Another bad news?” He said.
“W-well…” The servant hesitated, but he ended up speaking. “It appears The Madam is alive…”
““WHAT!?””
This time not just Alexander, but even Davie was surprised.
“M-Meiko is…” Davie had a hard time believing it. There were a lot of feelings passing through his face. Alexander did not know what his son was thinking, but Davie had also agreed pretty easily on getting rid of her. Did he have some second thoughts after living alone for a while?
“How did that useless woman survive?” Alexander asked, putting pressure on the poor servant to finish his report.
He should have led a more complete investigation on the matter. The incident where he had paid pirates to get rid of Meiko was kept secret, but he had lost contact with the pirates. He knew they had been eliminated, but from his own investigation Meiko had completely disappeared. He thought she had been killed in the battle…
But now that he thought about it, there were some weird things about this incident… No official report from the Borkian Navy had been posted. At the time he thought that it was perhaps because the Commerce Guards had pressured the Borkian Navy somehow, but it did not seem to be the case…
Something else was up, and it seemed their goal was to hide what had happened to Meiko…
“S-sir, that’s not the important part…” The servant continued, his voice stopping Alexander’s train of thoughts.
“What is it then?” He asked in an irritated tone.
“It appears she is the chairwoman of Reisei Ryōri…”
There was a short silence after these words.
But then-
“...Ha!” Alexander began laughing hysterically.
“F-father!?” Davie was surprised by this sudden burst of laughter. Has his father finally gone senile?
“So that’s how it is!” Alexander said, smiling fiercely. He began to understand what was happening.
There was one thing he had not considered. What if Meiko and Rika had put their differences aside to deal with them? Worse, what if Meiko finally learned what Alexander did to her parents?
It all began to make sense to him.
He thought he had nurtured a small harmless cat, but that cat was revealed to be a fierce tiger who now held a grudge against him…
But Alexander had not said his last words.
His dream now laid in ruins with no hope of being achieved. What could he do now? Well, it was pretty simple…
“I see, I see! Fine then, let me show them that a lion does not die without a fight!”
