The mysterious person did not answer Ryuken’s question. Instead, he quickly dragged the vending machine using only the hand that was already stuck inside it and swung it toward Ryuken.

BAM!!

Ryuken spun his body and delivered a powerful kick that shattered the vending machine.

"Looks like you also have tremendous muscles. No wonder Georgious was defeated by you," the mysterious person said.

"Georgious?" Ryuken tried to recall the name, wondering who he was and why it sounded so familiar. Then, he finally remembered and his eyes narrowed.

"Are you from Black Maria?!" he asked.

"The name’s Ferro, and I am the one who will bring your head to my boss," the person said.

Ferro pulled his hand free from the remains of the vending machine. Pieces of broken metal fell to the ground as he straightened his body.

Ryuken stared at him. So, Black Maria had finally come looking for him. And judging by Ferro’s confidence, this man was not an ordinary member.

Ferro then raised his head slightly, allowing Ryuken to see both of his eyes. They were shaped like a reptile’s, with sharp pupils, and were yellow in color. He then crouched down on all four limbs before pushing his body forward and raising both of his sharp claws toward Ryuken.

Ryuken immediately got into a fighting stance and quickly avoided every attack. Ferro also used his feet to swipe at Ryuken’s legs, but Ryuken managed to avoid them.

Ryuken then managed to dash behind Ferro and was about to kick him in the back when suddenly, a long and thick tail emerged from beneath the robe and struck directly at Ryuken’s abdomen.

BAM!!

The impact sent Ryuken stumbling backward before he lost his balance and fell onto the ground.

As Ryuken was about to stand up, suddenly, Ferro jumped into the air and aimed to thrust his sharp claws into Ryuken’s neck. Ryuken began to panic.

"Shoulder Bash!"

THUMP!!

Suddenly, just an inch before Ferro’s claws could pierce Ryuken’s larynx, Benn Strong appeared and used his shoulder to bash Ferro several metres away.

Ferro was able to stabilize his body in mid-air before landing on all four limbs. The hood covering his head had already fallen down, revealing a lizard-like head.

"Ryuken, are you okay?" Denis asked as he quickly came toward Ryuken.

"Who is that guy? Why is he attacking you?" Oscar asked.

"No, the most appropriate question now is, what is that guy?" Benn Strong asked.

Ryuken slowly got back on his feet while keeping his eyes fixed on Ferro, who slowly raised his head as his yellow reptilian eyes staring directly at the four of them.

"Sluurp..."

Ferro’s long tongue slipped out and back in as his eyes scanned all four people standing in front of him. Saliva continued to drool from his slightly protruding mouth.

He was, like the Beastly Trio, also using the same Beast Champion class. However, he possessed the rarest variation, the Komodo Dragon form. And unlike the Beastly Trio, who only used their beast forms when they were in danger, Ferro liked to go all out from the very beginning.

"Four people here... I’m so lucky..." Ferro’s eyes widened as he began to grow excited. He had received information about Ryuken being in this area, but he never expected other members to be here as well.

He then grabbed his robe and pulled it away, revealing his true appearance. A massive humanoid Komodo dragon stood before them, covered in rough scales with powerful limbs, razor-sharp claws, and a long, thick tail extending behind his body.

"Is he a human or what?" Oscar said as all of them quickly formed a battle formation.

"He is human. He’s using some sort of class to change his form, like the one I faced before," Ryuken said.

Denis quickly turned his head toward Ryuken.

"You seem to know a lot about him. And when did we fight something like this?" he asked.

"Tch! This is not the moment to ask me a gazillion questions. What’s important is that he is the enemy!" Ryuken said, starting to get irritated.

They then focused their attention on Ferro. Ferro watched all of them as they slowly began moving in a clockwise formation, keeping their eyes on each other.

They were now standing beneath the large bridge above them, an isolated area where ordinary people rarely came. Only hunters occasionally passed through this place, making it the perfect location for a battle.

Ferro then dashed forward by pushing his body with his enhanced quadriceps muscles. The powerful muscles gave him tremendous acceleration, allowing him to cross several metres in an instant.

"Binding Roots!"

Denis quickly tried to restrain Ferro as he cast his skill, causing roots to grow from the ground and attempt to grab Ferro. However, Ferro was extremely fast, effortlessly evading every root that emerged from the ground.

"Blazing Lance!"

Oscar threw a flaming lance toward Ferro, who was forced to jump high into the air before landing right in the middle of the group with a single leap.

"What?!"

Benn Strong and Ryuken shouted as Ferro easily jumped over their heads. With both of them acting as the vanguard, an enemy getting behind them meant that Ferro was targeting their rear members.

Oscar and Denis immediately tried to cast their skills on Ferro, but he had already extended both his hands sideways.

His palms slammed into both of their abdomens at the same time.

"Ugh!"

"Argh!"

Ferro used his monstrous strength to throw them in opposite directions, sending both of them flying several metres away.

Ryuken and Benn Strong immediately turned around.

Ferro swung his hand down toward them, but Benn Strong had already raised his shield and blocked the attack. Ryuken then moved to the side of Ferro and unleashed a powerful, short punch toward his body.

BAM!!

However, Ferro’s tail quickly moved and blocked the attack, making Ryuken’s punch useless. Benn Strong then pushed his shield forward, forcing Ferro to stumble backward and slightly lose his balance.

Ryuken used this opportunity to swing his body and unleash a powerful kick that immediately struck Ferro’s arms as he raised them to block the attack.

Ferro was forced to take a few steps backward. He felt a tingling pain running through his forearms after blocking the attack.

’His kick is really powerful. If I receive a direct hit, I will definitely fall down...’ Ferro thought.

"Looks like... I need to get more serious this time."

Suddenly, Ferro’s body began to emit a dark, black aura.

The aura slowly spread around his muscular body, swirling around his scales like smoke. His yellow reptilian eyes became even sharper.

"Warm up is over...this is where the real fight begins."

Oscar and Denis stood up and gathered together with Ryuken and Benn Strong.

"That bastard! That really hurt!" Oscar said as he held his abdomen. "Denis! Hold that bastard for just three seconds!"

"Just give me one second. That’s all I need," Ryuken said.

"Hey! You guys are putting too much pressure on me right now!" Denis said.

Usually, he and Zane were responsible for crowd control during their usual dungeon raids. They were used to controlling multiple enemies at once, slowing them down and creating openings for the damage dealers.

But this was different. Denis looked at the black aura surrounding Ferro.

"Three seconds..." he muttered. "Fine. I will give you three seconds. Just make sure you don’t waste them." He raised both hands as he was preparing his next skill.

Oscar, Ryuken, and Benn Strong stood side by side as they awaited Denis’s signal. On the other side, Ferro tilted his head slightly.

’These guys...aren’t they afraid of my sudden change? Or are they just too dumb to notice it?’ Ferro thought.

Usually, normal hunters or monsters would become scared and alert if they saw Ferro in his current form. However, his current opponents did not seem to care that much. Ferro quickly pushed those thoughts aside and dashed forward with his claws extended.

Denis, on the other side, was already prepared. Once Ferro entered his range, Denis immediately cast his skill.

"Gate of Thorns!"

Suddenly, thorny vines erupted from the ground and latched onto Ferro’s feet.

"What?!"

Ferro tried to tear them away with his claws, but more thorny vines continued to grow from the ground, wrapping around his legs and quickly climbing up his body. Within seconds, the vines covered his entire body, tightening around his limbs and restricting his movements.

"Got you!" Denis shouted. "Now, boys, this is your chance!"

Ryuken quickly dashed forward and jumped high into the air before releasing his signature Drill Kick. At the same time, Benn Strong charged forward and unleashed a powerful punching skill.

"Guardian Fist!"

Both attacks struck Ferro at almost the same time. Ferro, who was still trapped by the thorny vines, felt the full impact of the attacks, but it was not the end.

"Eat this, lizard! Inferno Burst!" Oscar shouted before he snapped his fingers.

Suddenly, Ferro felt intense heat rising from beneath his feet. A burst of flame suddenly erupted from the ground and engulfed his entire body.

BOOM!!

A massive explosion of flames swallowed Ferro completely, sending fire and smoke several metres into the air. Denis raised his arm to shield his face from the intense heat.

"That should do it!" Oscar grinned confidently.

However, suddenly, Ferro emerged from the smoke and flames, his entire body still covered in fire. He immediately lunged toward Denis and opened his massive mouth, biting down on him.

"Uaargh!"

Denis shouted in pain as Ferro’s sharp teeth sank into his arm. Ryuken rushed forward and delivered a powerful kick that sent Ferro flying away.

Denis fell to the ground and immediately looked at his hand. Blood was dripping from the deep bite marks left by Ferro’s teeth.

"You damn lizard!" Benn Strong shouted.

"Hehehe! Your friend is going to die miserably over the next few days," Ferro said with a sinister grin. "My lethal saliva is already entering his bloodstream, and there is no antidote for it. Hehehe!"

Denis’s expression changed as he stared at his bleeding hand. Oscar quickly rushed toward him, while Ryuken and Benn Strong kept their eyes locked on Ferro.

Ferro stood up from the ground as the flames around his body gradually disappearing.

"You should have been more careful. The moment my teeth sink into you, your death is already decided."
