Chapter 50: Chapter 50 Master Blacksmith

That night, Lars was unable to sleep. He spent hours scrolling through the forums and taking notes. A few hours later, he finally stopped and glanced at the clock. It was already 5:30 a.m.

"It’s already morning. I was so immersed in my research that time flew by," Lars chuckled. He then looked down at the notes he had written.

"The next step on my road to becoming debt-free is to create Blacksmith and Alchemist classes, then forge as many weapons and craft as many items as possible to sell, together with Class Books!"

That was the new plan Lars had come up with. Fortunately, he had already obtained the Alchemist class earlier after extracting a random Class Book he had bought from the Dungeon Hub.

"From what I read on the forum, it seems that besides Class Books, hunters are also complaining about how difficult it is to obtain weapons and equipment. Even though there are plenty available at the Dungeon Hub, they’re simply too expensive. Now this is where the demand is." Lars muttered.

He had learned some basic business principles back in high school, so he understood the concepts of supply and demand. Right now, the demand was clearly there but the supply was heavily imbalanced because of the high prices.

"Now, the first thing I need to do is generate the Blacksmith class."

He then opened the Generate Class skill window.

"My eyes are starting to strain from reading all these features. Hmm... what’s the best combination for a Blacksmith? Do I even need a Role and Skills for a Blacksmith class? I don’t plan to use it for combat and I just want it to focus on production."

His eyes then settled on Supreme Growth under the Class Trait section.

"How about making it a Growth-type class? Maybe it can become stronger and stronger as I produce more items. Then, I will add Genius as the Class Augmenter. Yes, I will go with this combination."

---

[You have selected Blacksmith + Supreme Growth + Genius]

[This combination has not been discovered yet.]

[Probability does not apply to this combination.]

"Hmm? No probability?" Lars frowned. "Is it because this is going to be a Growth-type class?" he wondered.

---

Lars’s eyes lit up as he read through the information on the Master Blacksmith class. Even at the Common rank, its skills and effects were already absurd.

Without wasting time, he switched to the class and activated Blacksmith’s Forge.

BOOM!!

A massive forge materialized inside his room, accompanied by a sturdy anvil and a Master Hammer resting on top of it. The forge was so large that it made the already small room feel cramped.

Lars picked up the Master Hammer and gave it a few swings. It didn’t feel too heavy, but it wasn’t light either. Then, a thought suddenly crossed his mind.

"I don’t know anything about blacksmithing!"

He scratched his head. He didn’t even know the basic forging process, let alone how to make a weapon.

Then Lars remembered one of the class skills, Inspection. He immediately took out the Steel Sword from his inventory. It was the very first weapon he had ever owned and had accompanied him throughout the past few months as a hunter.

"How do I use this? Inspection?" Lars muttered as he looked at the sword.

Suddenly, the sword transformed into data form before instantly returning to its original form. The entire process lasted only a moment. Then, a flood of information poured into his mind.

---

[Steel Sword]

Grade: G-

---

"G-minus? It’s that bad?!" Lars exclaimed in disbelief.

Ding!

[Steel Sword blueprint has been stored in the Blacksmith Archive!]

"I see...so after using Inspection, it automatically converts the item into a blueprint."

Lars opened the Blacksmith Archive and found the newly stored blueprint. A holographic model of the Steel Sword appeared before him.

Alongside it was a complete forging guide, detailing every step of the process, from heating the metal, hammering and shaping it, hardening the blade, to the final assembly.

Lars kept nodding as he read through the guide. By the time he finished, he had a rough understanding of how to forge the sword. The only problem was he didn’t have any of the required materials.

"It needs iron ingots for the blade and leather for the handle. Maybe I can buy them from the smithy at the Dungeon Hub later," Lars muttered.

He glanced outside and saw that the sun had already risen and filling the room with morning light. Stretching his body and letting out a long yawn, he finally lay down on his bed and drifted off to sleep.
