Chapter 2354: Still Asking Ye Qiu

Chapter 2354: Chapter 2314: Still Asking Ye Qiu

Zhang Xing knew he spent a huge price to have the young doctor cure his illness. Now, with his cousin’s situation, if he could find him again, the chances of a cure were very likely.

“Uncle, last time I also had cancer, but wasn’t it cured by that doctor?”

“How is that possible?”

“Is there a need to lie about this? Last time, I was already preparing my will, and my parents were making arrangements for my afterlife.”

“Where is that person? Hurry up and find him!”

“In Jinling, I guess. However, he’s an arrogant person. If you wish to save your cousin, you’d better go to Jinling in person to find him.”

Zhang Xing was well aware of this kind of person. Had his father not pleaded multiple times last time, he might not have survived.

Should I personally plead?

“Where does he live? What’s his name?”

“He lives at Peach Blossom Spring Villa. His father is called Ye Weidong, and the doctor is named Ye Qiu.”

“I’ll head there right now,” Zhang Yang said urgently.

Zhang Yang hurried towards Jinling. Luckily, Jinling wasn’t very far.

Zhang Yang rushed to Jinling and found Peach Blossom Spring Villa. What he didn’t expect was, the villa had strict security; even driving a luxury car couldn’t get him inside.

“Mr. Zhang, if you want to find Ye Weidong, you’ll need to call him personally to confirm before I can let you in.”

The problem was, he didn’t have Ye Weidong’s phone number at all.

Zhang Yang could only call his nephew, Zhang Xing, again.

“Xing, I’ve come here, but I can’t even get past the entrance. What should I do? Do you have Ye Weidong’s number?”

“Uncle, I don’t have the mobile numbers of the father and son.”

What should be done?

Do I have to wait here?

“Mr. Zhang, if you want to find Ye Weidong, I suggest you go to the Imperial Cuisine Restaurant to locate him.”

The Imperial Cuisine Restaurant in Jinling was quite well-known. There were two of them.

One in the city, and one in the suburbs.

Zhang Yang hurried to the city center’s Imperial Cuisine Restaurant once more.

Upon arrival, unexpectedly, the staff thought he was there to dine.

“I’m not here to eat; I’m looking for Ye Weidong.”

“Sir, sorry, our boss is not here. May I know what you need from him? Our accountant is his daughter.”

Ye Weidong’s daughter?

This was great!

In haste, Zhang Yang went upstairs and indeed saw a young woman there.

“I need to find Ye Weidong.”

“Sir, what do you need from my dad?”

“Actually, I’m looking for your brother, Ye Qiu. My son is in the late stages of brain cancer and wishes for him to treat it.”

Brain cancer in its late stages?

Ye Xue knew that perhaps in this entire world, only her brother could cure cancer.

“My brother should still be in East Sea!”

What?

He’s in East Sea?

I’ve come all this way?

“Sir, let me call him and ask.”

Ye Xue made a call to Ye Qiu, who was at the Zi Garden mansion at the time.

“Sis, it’s me, what’s up?”

“There’s someone here looking to find you, saying it concerns his son’s treatment.”

“What illness is it?”

“Late-stage brain cancer.”

“What’s his name?”

“Sir, what’s your name?”

“I’m Zhang Yang from the Zhang Family in East Sea.”

“What relation is Zhang Xing to you? And what about Zhang Shaojie?”

“Doctor Ye, Zhang Xing is my nephew, and Zhang Shaojie is my son. How come you know them?” Zhang Yang was surprised that the young man could directly mention his son’s name.

“Of course, I know them. Your son is quite something; when I just transferred to the Teachers’ University in East Sea, I didn’t expect your son would lead a group to smash my Range Rover. I haven’t even called him to account, and now that brat has cancer; seem like karma!”

“Dr. Ye, are you sure there’s no misunderstanding?”

“Misunderstanding? Zhang Shaojie, Young Master Zhang, the most notorious rich kid at Teachers’ University, has harmed quite a few students. You should be more aware of his character than I am.”

“Dr. Ye, I believe there might be a misunderstanding between you two.”

Unexpectedly, Ye Qiu hung up directly.

Ye Xue listened from the side and understood perfectly.

As she took the phone back, she could only say, “Mr. Zhang, my brother’s personality is just like that. If he doesn’t want to treat, no one can persuade him.”

Zhang Yang fell silent immediately.

He never imagined his son had such a deep conflict with the other party, even going as far as smashing the other’s Range Rover.

Of course, his son was arrogant, always causing trouble. He just didn’t know how many times he had to clean up the mess for him.

Earlier, when his son ran into another student at the Teachers’ University, he compensated a large sum of money on behalf of his son.

“Mr. Zhang, if there’s nothing else, please leave. This is our workplace,” Ye Xue prompted.

Zhang Yang could only leave the office and call Zhang Xing directly outside.

“Xing, I just spoke with Ye Qiu on the phone. Unexpectedly, your cousin provoked him and smashed his Range Rover.”

“What? How did the cousin smash the other’s car?”

“He said he just transferred to the Teachers’ University over there.”

Now, Zhang Xing knew things were certainly messed up.

It was surely the cousin who provoked the other and smashed his car.

Under such circumstances, asking the other to treat Zhang Shaojie seemed entirely unlikely.

“Uncle, I can’t really help you here.”

“No way, you must save your cousin. If anything happens to him, what will I and your aunt do?”

“Uncle, if you genuinely want to ask Dr. Ye to treat, it looks like you should get to Jin University to fully understand the situation and offer some explanation. Only then could he possibly treat your cousin.”

Zhang Yang knew it had to be that way.

Moreover, now that Ye Qiu was in East Sea, staying in Jinling was certainly useless.

Before getting in the car, he had someone investigate what exactly happened in Jinling.

He then drove back to East Sea.

Upon returning to East Sea, he had someone investigate the matter between Zhang Shaojie and Ye Qiu and got the whole picture.

It was merely because Ye Qiu had just transferred, and shared a desk with a female student who Zhang Shaojie had his sights set on, that Zhang Shaojie took animosity against Ye Qiu.

He first sent people to beat Ye Qiu.

Then, openly in front of other students, smashed Ye Qiu’s car.

Now, that smashed Range Rover was still parked over there.

The photo of the smashed Range Rover was already sent to Zhang Yang’s phone.

Clearly, all this was the fault of his son. Why provoke Ye Qiu and even smash the other party’s car?

Now asking the opposite to treat the illness?

If it were him, he wouldn’t treat Zhang Shaojie either.

What to do?

What should be done?

Having smashed someone else’s car, he surely needed to compensate.

Moreover, he had to sincerely apologize to the other party and gain Ye Qiu’s forgiveness.
