Chapter 672 - Deathmatch (Part 2)
...
Bang!
Boom!
Given that Justin was surrounded on all sides, he took the most straightforward way to counter a large number of opponents, and that was attacking everything with his large-scale skills.
With every swing of his glaive, a strong gust of wind was immediately sent towards the direction of his strike, sweeping away everything on its path.
But even if his attacks could turn the place completely devastated, none of them were able to hit the clones that were attacking him. No matter how large his attacks were, he still couldn't hit any of the three as they kept changing their locations by swapping their positions with the other phantoms.
But Justin was able to keep his cool despite the pressure that he was getting from all sides. He was also able to fend off every attack that the three clones were throwing at him no matter how random or complex they were..
From time to time, Shin was also controlling the three clones to do some coordinated attacks that were perfectly linked with each other. Those series of attacks were seamlessly perfect to the point that Shin was making all of the spectators think that there were three different players fighting for him in the field.
On top of that, the three clones were slowly gaining momentum as time went by. It was as if they were constantly improving the more they fought.
Justin was also starting to feel the pressure despite him not showing it outside. But the slight frown that he had briefly couldn't escape Shin's eyes as he was able to get a glimpse of it during the battle.
And not long after, Shin also noticed that Justin was about to get serious. "It's coming!"
Boom!
Just like he was expecting, a powerful explosion suddenly exploded in the middle of the battlefield where Justin was currently standing. The overlapping shockwaves that were accompanying that explosion also prevented the three clones from getting near him.
It was as if there was an earthquake shaking the ground with Justin being the center of the powerful epicenter.
Rumble!
Due to the repeated shaking of the earth, the dust started to float in the air before forming a thick cloud of it that hid Justin within.
Seeing that, Shin quickly controlled his clones to move away from the spreading cloud of dust as his instincts were telling him that something dangerous was about to come from it.
Swoosh!
Boom!
Unfortunately, he was already a step too late. A golden light suddenly flashed from the middle of the cloud of dust before a powerful gust of wind cleared all of the dust in the surrounding area and swept away everything on its path.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
The good thing was Shin being able to react in time and quickly control his clones to simultaneously raise their sheaths and place them in front of their chest to block the attack.
But they were still sent flying backward as the force behind that particular attack was much stronger than Shin had expected.
And that was not the end yet.
Boom!
Right after the thick cloud of dust was cleared, Shin suddenly saw a gigantic and transparent armored knight standing in the middle of the battlefield. He could also see Justin floating within the chest of that giant knight.
'Equipment Skill (Helm): Divine Avatar'
"This doesn't look good," muttered Shin as he watched Justin raise his glaive with both of his hands while the armored giant mimicked his movements.
Given that powerful pressure that he was getting from the giant knight, Shin knew that his clones would not be able to stand against it if they simply ganged up on it just like earlier.
"Looks like it is finally time to move," muttered Shin as he suddenly disappeared from his current position before reappearing in front of the gigantic knight as it swung its giant glaive forward.
Shin's cloak suddenly transformed into a pair of black wings as he assumed a sword-drawing position while staring at the descending blade in front of him. He waited for a couple of moments before unsheathing his sword and swinging it upwards.
Swing!
A flash of light suddenly illuminated the whole place as Shin pulled out his sword. And when it was gone, a blazing trail was left on the path of his swing before his sword met the gigantic glaive.
'Class Fighting Style: (Modified) Quick Draw'
Bang!
Swoosh!
Bang!
-50,000
Shin was sent straight to the ground right after their weapons collided. He also suffered some damage from the collision, but it was quite negligible given the current HP that he had. And despite how strong the force that sent him down, he was still able to land on the ground steadily with both of his feet.
A small crater was also formed underneath him as he tried to redirect the force towards the ground.
Hu!
He then sheathed back his sword and controlled his breathing before raising his head and looking at the armored giant.
Despite having a very large body, the collision earlier still forced the giant knight to take a couple of steps backward to stabilize its footing.
Seeing that the giant was still busy regaining its balance, Shin quickly kicked the ground and flew in the air.
Swoosh!
During his flight, he suddenly flapped his wings downwards to accelerate his speed before turning himself into a streak of light.
'Slayer Skill: (Modified – Flying Version) Moonlight Step'
Justin was able to see Shin's movements within the chest of the armored giant, so he quickly readjusted his position and twisted his waist sideways before throwing a hook punch in the air.
At first glance, he seemed to be hitting nothing but air. But if someone took a closer look at it, the huge fist of the armored giant was exactly heading towards the place where Shin was going.
Realizing that, Shin quickly spread his wings and halted his charge to avoid getting hit by the incoming fist.
He was planning to continue moving forward right after the fist brushed past him. But before he could put his thoughts in action, he noticed that the giant knight used the momentum of his previous movements to spin around alongside its weapon.
Seeing that, Shin quickly flew back a little before circling around the spinning giant while also trying to find an opening.
Naturally, his clones were not doing anything either. The moment he jumped on the prey earlier, he immediately controlled them and distanced them from the battle a little to avoid getting hit in the crossfire.
Shin also wanted to focus on the battle a little, so that he could properly see how much he improved with his newly upgraded equipment.
After circling around the giant knight for a couple of moments, Shin saw that his opponent's movements finally slowed down which also gave him the signal to strike.
Swoosh!
At that very moment, Shin quickly sent a series of energy waves towards the armored giant, rotating his skill set skillfully.
The two fought each other for quite something before Shin finally decided to get his clones involved.
First, he fused the Sun and Moon Clones together to summon the Eclipse Clone with better stats. And together with Phantom Clone, the two quickly flew in the air and joined Shin at his assault.
Being besieged by those three, the armored giant was slowly losing its footing. And adding the fact that Shin was also taking advantage of his Awakening Skill, the Dance of the Sun and Moon, to consistently deal more damage and slowly withered down the durability of the giant knight.

Given that Justin's Divine Avatar had a big size, it was pretty easy for the three to land their attacks cleanly. And because of that, the damage that alternating temperature caused to the armored giant slowly stacked together, causing it to have some cracks on different parts of its body.
Understanding that the situation was slowly going against his favor, Justin had no other choice but to give up the armored giant. But he didn't simply release it as he absorbed it into his body the moment it turned into specks of light.
'Equipment Skill (Helm): Divine Ascension'
Due to that, the stats that Justin currently had was further enhanced, which made Shin wear a deep frown. "Is it a skill that is similar to my 'Spirit Release' and 'Spirit Possession?"
"Tsk! This is going to be a little troublesome," he added as he could already imagine what was going to happen.
