Secret Arts, it was a general term used to describe a technique that was a product of combining Martial Arts and Mentalism.

Unified Strengthening was one of them, which was the combination of ‘Qi Reinforcement Skill’ of Martial Arts and the ‘Mentalism or Rune Enchantments’ of Mentalism Techniques.

He waited for Shin to nod his head before continuing. “The idea of this technique is to ‘summon’ that party of ‘Spiritual Realm’ into ‘Physical Realm.'”

“The first stage of this technique is to establish a firm connection with the ‘Spiritual Realm’ with the help of one’s Spiritual Sense, which I call the ‘Spirit Heart Establishment’.”

“Then you have to utilize the unification of mind, body, and spirit to become the bridge between the two realms, which will greatly enhance all your senses due to the combination of Spiritual Sense and your physical quantities, particularly your sensory abilities.”

“This stage, I call it the ‘Spirit Heart Expansion,'” he then paused for a moment, before saying. “This is the stage that I want you to achieve, which will also be the answer that you are looking for.”

Hearing this, Shin nodded his head seriously, understanding what the old professor was talking about.

Nodding his head, Professor Henry continued. “The third stage of this technique is called the ‘Spirit Heart Manifestation’. In this stage, you will be able to fully manifest a fraction of the ‘Spiritual Realm’ into the ‘Physical Realm’, which will greatly increase your Mentalism prowess because of the connection that you have solidified with that other realm.”

“Not only that, because of this ‘connection’, your Mental Energy and Mentalism Techniques will also undergo a drastic transformation that will also help you with the next two stages.”

He then paused for a moment, trying to organize his next words in a way that Shin would be able to understand them well, before continuing. “The next two stages will be incredibly hard for you to achieve since it requires you to both reach the Venerable Realm in Mentalism and the Domain Creation Stage in Martial Arts.”

“The fourth stage is called the ‘Spirit Heart Unification’, which is meant to help you fuse both the Domain Creation and the portion of the Spiritual Realm that you have summoned in the Physical Realm, which will let the latter transform your Martial Arts or Mentalism Techniques into a Secret Art passively.”

“This is the realm that I have partially achieved,” he added while giving Shin a mystifying smile.

“The fifth and final stage, on the other hand, is something I called the ‘Spirit Heart Perfection’ – or the ‘Heart Realm’ for short. It is the perfect fusion of Domain Creation of the Martial Artist and Mentalism Authority of the Mentalist.”

“As for what you can fully achieve in this stage, even I don’t know. Everything that I know about this stage is based only on theory. However, I believe that once both the Domain Creation and Mentalism Authority, an individual will further take a step toward the ‘True Origin’.”

The more Shin listened to Professor Henry, the more shocked he became. This technique that the professor was trying to make seemed to be pursuing the absolute unification of Martial Arts and Mentalism Techniques, or even further than that, especially when he mentioned the ‘True Origin’.
