Chapter 2100 - 2100: Child of Poisons
…
Chaotic Luck looked at the pearl-like object in his hands, looking into the details that were reflected in his eyes.

[Item Name]: Pearl of Thousand Toxins (Sealed)
[Item Type]: Miscellaneous
[Item Rank]: Special
[Item Level]: N/A
Description:
A special item that has been artificially created by mixing multiple cores of venomous creatures along with an uncountable number of poisonous substances, in an attempt to recreate the true Ten Thousand Poison Core
It is extremely poisonous, which could kill even a Sovereign Being once they have been directly exposed to it.
Note: This item can be a material for a wide range of usage.
Note: Currently in a sealed state.

Chaotic Luck almost threw the pearl away after reading the part where it said that it could kill a Sovereign Being. Fortunately, he managed to hold it tightly before he could do such a thing.
This simple description almost gave him a heart attack.
“Sealed, huh!?” he mumbled after skimming through all the details at least twice.
He knitted his brows deeply, a bit confused why Arthur had given this item. But he later realized what the latter wanted him to do. “Hmm… He wants me to create a highly advanced undead with this thing?”
He then shifted his gaze toward the army of jiangshi below them.
From what he had observed so far, these jiangshi were neither created through dark magic that the necromancers usually used nor any other darker methods like soul transfer or something similar.
However, he could not say that it was done with a moral mind. After all, using a corpse and transforming it into a weapon could be considered a forbidden method itself.
In a sense, jiangshi creation was just a sub-category of necromancy.
From his limited knowledge about necromancy, Chaotic Luck could somewhat understand the methods used for creating these jiangshi.
In a general sense, the creator had most likely used the corpses of dead people, specifically martial artists of ancient times, to inject a variety of poison solutions and herbs. It was to nurture those bodies and make them into a powerful weapon.
Thinking about this, Chaotic Luck could not help but mumble to himself. “Since I have yet to learn how to re-awaken my necromantic powers, I guess it is better to learn the ancient methods of jiangshi creation.”
…
While Arthur and the others escaped from the battlefield and took the rest high up in the air, the pair from the Dragon Pavilion could not help but wear a grim expression on their faces.
Their expression immediately turned dark after realizing that everyone seemed to be playing their hand against them.
It would still be fine if it were just those two from the Hydra Guild. They were even quite amused at how Cobra had fallen into a trap that Aoki had prepared for him.
However, now that they were the only ones left on this side of the battlefield, they could not help but think that there was something wrong with the current situation.
“What about now?” asked Tyrant Dragon after fixing the corners of the formation protecting them.
Luminous Dragon raised his head and looked at the giant dragon hovering high up in the air before shifting his gaze toward the horde of jiangshi that were still flooding toward their direction.
“I guess we have no choice but to also pick up the pace,” he responded before shifting his gaze toward the towering ziggurat in the distance.
Immediately understanding what Luminous Dragon was talking about, Tyrant Dragon immediately prepared himself.
However, he could not help but pause his actions for a moment, turning toward the young man standing beside them, whom they had been ignoring up until now.
“What about this kid?” he asked.
Hearing this, Luminous also turned to Lawrence, giving the young a deep gaze, before asking. “What do you think, kid?”
He was not sure why Gunner was obsessed with bringing this kid around when they had more skilled and much more powerful people who could represent them for this trial.
However, after recalling Lawrence’s performance from the previous round, along with his poison methods that greatly resembled the ones that most of the Hydra Guild members were using.
Putting two and two together, Luminous Dragon suspected that the reason why Boa and Cobra were targeting them was because of this kid.
Moreover, there was also a chance that this kid might be somewhat related to this place, one way or another.
He wanted to offer a helping hand to this kind, along with their protection. He was extending an olive branch as a form of investment.
Unfortunately, Lawrence was not as naïve as he looked. He might be young, but he had already experienced quite a lot in life.
He was about to reject their offer of protection when something unexpected happened once again.
Swoosh! Swoosh!
Both Luminous Dragon and Tyrant Dragon immediately raised their guards, preparing for the incoming attack.
Their first thought was that they were being ambushed by the two from the Hydra Guild, which was something that they had been expecting.
Unfortunately, they immediately realized that it was not the case because they saw from the corner of their eyes that Cobra was still engaging in an intense battle against the horde of jiangshi in his direction.
Those thunderous explosions and the mixture of a thick cloud of dust and dark green miasma were a clear indication that he was still locked in intense combat with them.
They also did not believe that Boa would attack them alone. After all, no matter how powerful and skilled he was, there was still a limit on what he could do, especially when the opposing side was on their level.
However, they immediately realized that it was not the case because the overwhelming sense of death that was looming around them indicated that the one targeting them was a much stronger and more terrible.
Rumble!
The two suddenly sensed that the ground underneath their feet was trembling, and they swiftly retreated.
Luminous Dragon used a series of Blink, getting away from that location and appearing in the distance.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
On the other hand, Tyrant Dragon leaped high up in the air while extending his spear toward Lawrence, using it to hook on the latter’s armpit and tossing him in the air as well.
Swoosh!
“Whoa!”
Larwrence was caught off guard, quite confused at what was happening.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
He only realized what was going on when he saw a bunch of jiangshi suddenly jump out of the ground, coming out from their previous locations.
Roar! Roar! Roar!
He could not help but break out in a cold sweat after seeing their appearances, particularly their long fingers and pointed nails.
One glance at them was more than enough to tell that they were different from the ones that they had been facing earlier.
Crackle! Crackle! Crackle!
While they were still in the middle of their leap, Tyrant Dragon suddenly transformed in to streak of lightning that flashed through all of them.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Not long after, he appeared on the ground once again, maintaining a somewhat cool posture, while the heads of those jiangshi exploded one after another.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
Despite how cool he looked striking those jiangshi in a single move, he was still in a dangerous situation.
It was because the bodies in the air exploded one after another, turning into a rain of toxins that seemed capable of melting everything.
Whoosh!
Fortunately, Luminous Dragon was able to respond in time, casting a protective spell that formed a spherical barrier that covered Tyrant Dragon from every direction.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
A series of explosions erupted right after the rain of toxins came into contact with the barrier protecting Tyrant Dragon.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
While Tyrant Dragon was currently pinned by the rain of toxins, another group of jiangshi was currently rushing at Luminous Dragon.
Seeing that he was about to be trapped by them, Luminous Dragon swiftly cast another series of Blink, creating distance between him and them.
Swoosh! Swoosh!
Roar! Roar!
While the two were currently occupied by the sudden ambush, they seemed to have momentarily forgotten about Lawrence, who was still suspended in the air.
Swoosh!
It was already too late when they realized that there was something wrong with this current situation.
“Ah!”
Lawrence was taken aback by a series of events, especially when he noticed that a huge shadow was suddenly cast over him.
“What!?”
When he turned around, he realized that a huge hand was rapidly approaching.
“Sh*t!” he could only curse when he realized that there was no way that he could avoid that massive hand.
He could only helplessly watch as that hand reached out to him and grabbed his body as if he were some sort of bug.
Boom!
The rumbling sounds coming from this direction attracted the attention of Tyrant Dragon and Luminous Dragon.
“F*ck!”
They simultaneously cursed when they saw Lawrence being caught under their noses and being dragged toward the depths of the ground.
