Amidst the fierce Qi and Blood, within three feet around Ji Tang, ripples flickered slightly, and suddenly a flash of sunlight appeared.

A point of lightning initially undetectable, in an instant turned into a towering thunder pillar, with a boom, originating from Ji Tang’s Baihui point, extending directly into the void.

Like a great tree of thunder and lightning, full of branches.

The sky was a blazing white.

"Is this supposed to tickle me?"

A flash of cyan light appeared on Ji Tang, the Cyan Dragon roamed, countless white thunderbolts striking his body were swallowed by the semi-real, semi-illusory True Form of the Cyan Dragon.

Instead of being hurt, only his hair was slightly singed, yet his skin remained shiny and smooth with a cyan glow.

Not only was he unharmed, but he seemed even more spirited.

"This is bad, Fubo Lineage, of the Water Dragon type, where rain follows their movements, lightning begets. Old monk, do you know how to fight?"

Chi Yangzi was so anxious that he spat out a mouthful of blood.

He found that Monk Baoshu’s attack, with the same Divine Martial Fourth Layer Cultivation, posed almost no threat.

Although it somewhat distracted Ji Tang, giving him a moment to catch his breath.

But continuing to fight like this would be disastrous.

"It’s my fault, I forgot for a moment."

Amidst the rising clouds and mist, Old Monk Baoshu appeared, his old face full of embarrassment.

He didn’t expect that this strike of lightning seemed to have given the opponent a bath, causing no damage at all.

After spending every day in meditation and chanting, speaking of salvation for all living beings.

It seemed his head had just gone numb from sitting too long.

In a hundred years, he hadn’t fought anyone, even forgetting his signature skills.

"Daoist, I’ll hold him for thirteen breaths, can you slay this wicked dragon?"

A hint of reluctance flashed in the old monk’s eyes, looking toward his Wuxiang Zen Temple, he chanted a long Buddha name without waiting for Chi Yangzi’s response, and faced with the soul-devouring Blood Dragon approaching, he neither dodged nor avoided, rushing forth with his body.

Amidst the chanting of sutras, where Monk Baoshu stood, there was no longer his figure, but transformed into a shimmering golden Sala Treasure Tree, with countless vines like snakes or dragons, suddenly probing out.

The Emperor’s Dragon Fist struck.

The tree’s body trembled madly, shrinking by over a tenth, but the speed of the seven-colored vines increased, wrapping and binding Ji Tang tightly like a net.

"Ridiculous, your Formless Zen Skill is incomplete, generating Six Phases, none can threaten me, how can you hold me for thirteen breaths?"

Ji Tang sneered coldly.

His form flickered in the void, transforming into a mighty Cyan Dragon Dharma Body, thirty feet long, with a waist like a water barrel, scales like blades, and dragon horns reaching to the sky.

Once this Dharma Body emerged, immediately it gathered clouds and summoned rain, a dragon’s roar subdued all directions.

The countless vines wrapped around the dragon’s body snapped simultaneously yet regenerated endlessly, no matter how many were severed by dragon claws, they seemed to grow on him, spreading more and more, almost enveloping the entire thirty-foot True Dragon Dharma Body.

The old monk kept his word, holding him for thirteen breaths.

At this moment, he mustered all his might, burning True Essence Buddha Power, endlessly and invisibly entangling.

Though not to crush the opponent, under his incessant entanglement, Ji Tang felt uneasy all over, constrained at every turn, unable to exert even fifty percent of his full combat power.

Seizing this opportunity.

Chi Yangzi’s eyes reddened, wielding the Pure Yang Spiritual Sword, desperately burning his cultivation, enduring Ji Tang’s punches and claw strikes, fiercely charging.

Sword and fist collided with deafening blasts.

A vast expanse of buildings collapsed, the rear hall of the Imperial Palace nearly reduced to ruins.

Seeing the Pure Yang Sword Light growing ever brighter, Chi Yangzi’s face began to ignite with blazing golden flames, the thirty-foot True Dragon Dharma Body surrounding Ji Tang also started to seep threads of Dragon Essence, his original form like a jadeite being cleaved by Sword Qi, breaking skin and flesh, oozing crimson blood, Ji Tang finally couldn’t endure it.

"Damn it."

He suddenly stopped throwing punches, letting the tree vines transformed by the old monk bind him tightly, paying no mind to the wild slashes of Pure Yang Sword Qi cutting his muscles and bones.

Bravely enduring, instead he began reciting a spell.

Murmuring in low tones.

Amidst the ruined rear hall, a white jade platform rumbled forth, rising and flying toward him.

The white jade platform flew nearer and smaller, soon clasped within Ji Tang’s hands...

With the spray of his vital blood.

The white jade platform emitted a majestic white light, enveloping the entire hundred-mile radius of Yujing.

For a moment, everyone heard a fierce dragon’s roar emanating from the depths of their hearts.

From old ladies as old as eighty to young children barely walking, all softened, feeling as if something most vital had left them.

Momentarily, everyone even forgot to panic or flee, frozen in place, becoming Qi-deficient and spirit-weak, coughing madly.

Some coughed blood as they did so.

The white jade platform slowly transformed into gold, rippling with watery light.

This golden watery light was inhaled by Ji Tang, his physical body and True Dragon Dharma Body simultaneously began to transform.

The sky stirred with dark clouds, turning pitch black, the most conspicuous spot where Ji Tang stood.

That True Dragon Dharma Body, the first to change were the scales, from dark cyan they took on a slight golden hue, first shining gold, dragon head, tendons, tail, and bones beginning to transform.

Amid Ji Tang’s hearty laughter, his gaze grew colder.

Looking at the tree vines binding him and the sword-wielding, relentless Chi Yangzi, it was as if he were looking at two dead men.

Chi Yangzi realized his Sword Qi could no longer cut into the opponent’s body.

Before him, Ji Tang, though not counterattacking, though still trapped within the vines formed by the old monk’s life and cultivation, the imposing power surging from the opponent grew ever stronger, increasingly overpowering.
