Chapter 296: Chapter 197: Lu Fan: I’m Yixia’s Boyfriend, Officially Going Public?

The cold water washed over his body, finally causing the burning heat to slowly subside.

He looked at his own flushed face in the mirror and couldn’t help but curse himself. ’Jiang Sifan, can you fucking get a grip?! You’re being such a pervert!’

But the images in his mind still refused to fade.

He showered for a long time, only drying himself off and getting dressed once he had completely cooled down.

When he pushed the door open and stepped out, Wen Wan was still hiding under the covers, with only her head peeking out.

When she saw him come out, she blushed and said, "I... I’m going to go wash up too."

Jiang Sifan nodded, avoiding her gaze. "Okay."

Wen Wan threw back the covers, got out of bed, and hurried toward the bathroom.

Just as she reached the door, she suddenly stopped and glanced back at him.

The glance was brief—so brief it was almost imperceptible.

But Jiang Sifan saw it.

Her eyes were bright and moist, holding a hint of shyness, a touch of panic, and something else he couldn’t quite put his finger on.

That look was like a feather, lightly brushing against the tip of his heart, making it tickle and tingle.

A moment later, Wen Wan pushed the door open and entered the bathroom.

Jiang Sifan then walked to the room’s entrance, ready to put on his shoes and leave.

But when he looked up, he saw the blurry figure in the bathroom was turned sideways to the door, her silhouette clearly visible.

A slender neck, rounded shoulders, a thin waist that flared out into soft curves.

She raised her arms, likely getting dressed.

The movement made the curves of her body more pronounced. As she lifted her arms, the arc of her chest was pulled taut, accentuating it further.

Then she turned, facing the door directly.

Jiang Sifan’s breath hitched.

On that blurry silhouette, he could see the line of her cleavage, swaying gently with her movements.

Jiang Sifan felt his throat go terribly dry, and he swallowed hard.

He knew he should turn away.

But his eyes refused to obey.

Jiang Sifan’s breathing grew more and more rapid.

He gritted his teeth and forced himself to look away.

’Don’t look, don’t look!’

He squeezed his eyes shut, faced the wall, and gasped for air.

Just as Jiang Sifan was lost in his thoughts, Wen Wan walked out of the bathroom.

Seeing that Jiang Sifan was still blushing, she said softly, "Class President, I’m ready."

"Okay, okay, let’s get going then." Jiang Sifan didn’t dare look at Wen Wan, averting his gaze.

The two went downstairs together, checked out, and walked out of the hotel.

The morning air was fresh and a little cool, mingled with the aroma of breakfast from the roadside stalls.

The two walked side by side, neither saying a word.

The atmosphere was a bit delicate.

Jiang Sifan stole a glance at Wen Wan.

Her face was still flushed, and she kept her head down, watching the path beneath her feet.

The sunlight fell on her, casting a soft glow on the side of her face.

Her long eyelashes cast a small shadow on her cheek.

He suddenly realized that Wen Wan was actually quite pretty.

Not the stunning kind of pretty, but the kind that grew more pleasant the longer you looked.

Clean and gentle, she had a calming presence.

After walking for a while, Wen Wan suddenly said in a small voice, "Class President."

Jiang Sifan answered, "Hm?"

Wen Wan hesitated. "Just now... just now in the room..."

Jiang Sifan’s heart skipped a beat, and he quickly said, "Just now, I really didn’t do it on purpose, I..."

"I know," Wen Wan interrupted, her voice growing even quieter. "I... I’m not blaming you."

Jiang Sifan froze for a moment.

Wen Wan blushed shyly. "It’s just... it’s just a little embarrassing."

Jiang Sifan didn’t know what to say, so he just managed an "Mm."

After walking a bit further, Wen Wan suddenly stopped and said, "Class President, I... I’m going back to my dorm to drop my things off first."

Jiang Sifan nodded. "Okay, I’ll head back to my dorm too."

Wen Wan hummed in agreement, so Jiang Sifan gave her a ride back to her dorm.

She quickly got off his bike and walked with small steps toward the entrance of her dormitory courtyard.

Jiang Sifan watched her back—her long legs wrapped in jeans, her ponytail swaying gently with each step, her slender waist, her perky bottom...

For a moment, he was completely entranced.

He stood there for a good while before heading toward the men’s dorm.

Back at the dorm, Jiang Sifan quickly washed up and changed his clothes.

Gao Lao and the others were still asleep, their snores rising and falling in succession.

He glanced at the time—it was almost eight. He quickly woke the others up.

"What the fuck, what time is it?" Gao Lao asked groggily.

Jiang Sifan said, "It’s almost eight. Get up, we’re going to be late."

A wave of panic hit them, and they scrambled to get dressed and wash up.

Jiang Sifan finished getting ready first. "I’m heading to the classroom. You guys hurry up."

With that, he pushed the door open and left.

He went to the women’s dorm to wait for Wen Wan.

Before long, Wen Wan came out.

Their eyes met, and they both felt a little awkward.

Jiang Sifan cleared his throat. "Let’s go together. We’re about to be late."

Wen Wan nodded and sat behind him on the bike.

The two of them then rode toward the classroom together.

Just as they reached the classroom door, the bell for class rang.

Jiang Sifan pushed the door open and walked in with Wen Wan.

Every eye in the classroom snapped toward them.

Forty or fifty pairs of eyes were all fixed on the two of them.

Wen Wan’s face instantly turned bright red. She lowered her head and hurried to an empty seat in the front row.

To avoid suspicion and protect Wen Wan’s reputation, Jiang Sifan deliberately walked toward the back row.

Gao Lao, Brother Ming, and Qiu Zai were sitting in the back. When they saw him approach, their eyes lit up.

Jiang Sifan had just sat down when Gao Lao leaned in and asked excitedly in a low voice, "Holy shit, Sifan, did you and Wen Wan get a room last night?"

Jiang Sifan’s face flushed red instantly. He quickly waved his hands. "No, no, don’t talk nonsense!"
