Chaos Warlord: Reincarnated in Eldrich with the Devil System!

Chapter 312 309: Fully Charged

Chapter 312 309: Fully Charged

“I won’t be defeated so easily! I will drag you down to hell with me!” the dimensional master, fueled by rage and desperation, roared defiantly in its final moments.

Drawing as much power as it could from the core of corruption, it had prepared an attack of epic proportions, which appeared to be a massive sphere of chaotic energy.

This sphere was the dimensional master’s last and most powerful attack. And with a final, enraged scream, it launched the sphere towards Val, intent on taking him out, even if it meant mutual destruction. It dared to do this as it was going to die anyway.

The sphere, carrying with it an aura of sheer terror and magnitude, was incredibly large, dwarfing Val in its massive size.

Whoosh!

It propelled through the air at an alarming rate, cutting through the thick atmosphere with ease, its momentum unfazed by anything in its path.

Val, standing his ground, assessed the situation with a calm yet critical eye. He knew that even even with his agility standing at an impressive 80 points, dodging such a rapid and gargantuan and fast attack would be impossible. He quickly evaluated his options, considering the use of his Titan’s Reinforcement ability. However, he immediately dismissed it, knowing that even with the boost it provided, it would not be enough to outpace the incoming attack.

His attention then shifted to the Strength Amplification Bracelet, a powerful artifact that had the potential to tip the scales in his favor. This item, if activated, could grant him the necessary speed to outmaneuver the orb. However, it was not without its drawbacks, as utilizing such power would come at the expense of his own lifespan. Val was not prepared to make such a drastic sacrifice, especially when he believed there was a more efficient and risk-free method to counteract this devastating attack.

It was to sit back and relax and depend entirely on his Emberflame Bracelet.

With a look of disdain and confidence etched across his face, Val turned his attention back to the Dimensional Master and uttered confidently, “Fool! You’ve just hastened your own demise!”

The Dimensional Master, upon hearing Val’s bold proclamation, felt a sudden surge of bafflement and a chilling sense of foreboding enveloping its being. A wave of realization hit it, and it understood that something was about to go horribly wrong. Its moment of triumph, which it thought was within grasp, was on the verge of slipping away, and it couldn’t comprehend what trickery Val had up his sleeve.

In the critical moment when the Dimensional Master’s final and most formidable attack was mere inches away from Val, the Emberflame Bracelet on Val’s wrist sprang to life all by itself thanks to the rune Val had enchanted it with earlier. The bracelet, adorned with intricate runes, emitted a blinding light as it absorbed the entire chaotic orb, leaving no trace of the once formidable attack.

The area was suddenly calm, as if a storm had just passed!

The Dimensional Master’s eyes widened in utter disbelief, its face twisting into a comical expression of shock and confusion. “How… How is this possible?!” it exclaimed, its voice laced with disbelief and a hint of desperation.

Val, standing unscathed with a smug smile gracing his lips, coolly responded, “You seem to be amazed too soon. That spectacle you just witnessed? That was merely the first act. Now, prepare yourself, for the grand finale is about to unfold.”

Before the Dimensional Master could process what Val meant and without the need for any further action from Val, the Emberflame Bracelet, now glowing even more intensely, activated its secondary effect. The bracelet unleashed a torrent of destructive energy, equal to the power of the absorbed chaotic orb, directly onto the Dimensional Master.

Caught completely off guard and with no time to react, the Dimensional Master’s form began to crumble and disintegrate, much like a sandcastle at the shore being eroded away by an unstoppable wave.

It was a sight to behold. The once fearsome and towering figure was now nothing more than dust in the wind, utterly annihilated by the clever use of an enchanted bracelet and Val’s strategic foresight.

A notification from the system echoed in Val’s mind, clear and resounding, “Congratulations! You have successfully vanquished the Ultimate Guardian of the Lesser Dimension. You get +25k EXP, and All-Stats Enhancing pill!]

The message was accompanied by a satisfying chime, signifying the end of a treacherous battle.

In the wake of the Dimensional Master’s demise, Val was rewarded generously.

The will of the world granted him two unique items materialized before him. The first was named “Orb of Abyssal Twilight,” a mysterious dark sphere emanating an ethereal glow. The second was “Crest of Celestial Dawn,” a radiant emblem shimmering with a divine light. Intriguingly, these items held a profound connection to the concepts of light and dark, and they possessed a peculiar requirement for activation.

They could only be utilized when an individual with devilish roots copulated with someone of divine lineage.

They could be used to upgrade both parties’ bloodlines.

Instantaneously, Val’s thoughts shifted to Eliana. He realized that she was the perfect partner for him to use these items with.

“What is this I am feeling?”

When he thought about her, an unfamiliar yet warm sensation blossomed in his chest. For a moment, he was perplexed, unable to decipher this strange feeling that seemed to envelop him. It was a feeling so foreign that he had almost forgotten its existence. However, drawing upon his knowledge of human emotions, he finally understood what it was.

“I am missing her,” he thought, a soft sigh escaping his lips.

He yearned to see her gentle smile once again, to feel her loving embrace, to be cared for by her. He wanted nothing more than to return to her side, to hold her close.

He thought that it was pathetic, but he had grown fond of her.

Anyways, with the main task now completed, only a few more steps remained before he could return home, return to her side.

Back at the battlefield, the army of sand soldiers, previously locked in combat with Oliver, Alfred, and Rowan, suddenly froze.

Their movements halted abruptly, leaving the trio baffled and uncertain.

“What’s going on?” Oliver exclaimed.

“Why have they suddenly stopped moving?” Alfred wondered aloud, his gaze fixated on the now motionless sand soldiers.

“Maybe Val has succeeded,” Rowan uttered, a hint of hope in his voice.

“Don’t be ridiculous,” Alfred retorted, skepticism lacing his words. “Only two minutes have passed since we separated. How could he have defeated the master of this dimension already?”

But before any more doubts could be voiced, the sand soldiers crumbled apart, transforming back into mere grains of sand that scattered across the desert floor.

Seeing this, all doubts were erased from their hearts.

They were no certain that Val had succeeded. In a mere matter of minutes, he had vanquished the fearsome master of the lesser dimension!

Relief washed over them, and Oliver collapsed onto the ground, exhausted. “Finally, some rest!”

Alfred followed suit, laying down beside him.

“Shouldn’t we be more careful?” Rowan said.

“Just enjoy the moment,” Alfred said with a grin on his face. “Besides, Val will close this dimension soon. There’s not much we can do but chill out.”

“Alright, then.”

Taking Alfred’s words to heart, Rowan too decided to lay down, embracing the moment of respite.

Back in the castle, Val utilized his Heavenly Eye skill to scan the interior. His gaze pierced through the thick walls until he located the Core of Corruption, situated at the very top floor of the castle, resting inside a box placed upon a table. Rapidly, he flew towards it.

Soon, the Core of Corruption was in his hand. With a thought, he transported himself to the Shrine of Evil, where Gruul greeted him, “Welcome, master. What brings you here today?”

Val presented the Core of Corruption, asking, “What do you think? Will this be enough?”

Gruul scrutinized the core before finally nodding in approval. “The energy inside is enough to fully charge the artifact.”

Without hesitation, Val fed the energy from the core to the Door of Guidance. The empty spots on the door illuminated with resplendent light, signaling its activation.

A notification from the system rang out in his ears, [You may now use the Door of Guidance to be directed to a dimension where you can upgrade your first class.]

Val’s lips stretched into a barely noticeable smile.

Gruul, curious, asked, “Will you use it now?”

“No,” Shaking his head, Val replied, “I have some other matters to attend to first.”

He collected the remnants of the Core of Corruption, now reduced to a unique pile of ash, and stored it in his pocket dimension.

Now, Why did he do that?

Well, this residue would serve as undeniable proof that he had closed the dimension. By showcasing this proof, would get rewarded by Lord Lucious with a potion of his choosing! He was looking forward to it.
