Chapter 259 256:

Val abused her for some hours in bed, leaving her in a state of utter bliss and exhaustion. If not for the fact that her raw strength was comparable to a beginner warrior, she would’ve broken into two by her beloved. However, even though her body creaked with exhaustion, she couldn’t help but deny it was a pleasant and addictive experience.
‘I want to do it with him every day until death do us part.’
“What are you thinking about?”
“N-Nothing!”
“It didn’t look like that to me.”
Just then, Eliana’s stomach grumbled.
This gave her a way out of it and she grabbed it without hesitation as she was too shy to make her dirty thoughts clear to Val.
Eliana complained that she was hungry to Val. He was the one who reduced her to such a disheveled and hungry state so he should also take responsibility and feed her.
Responding to her complaints, Val reached into his Void Orb and pulled out a cauldron.
As he lifted the lid of the cauldron, a fragrant aroma filled the room.
The cauldron contained meat from an Eldertail snake. It had no foul odor and was surprisingly aromatic, even though it had been cooked without any spices. The texture of the huge chunks of meat was also invitingly soft.
“You’ll like this,” Val assured her, handing her a piece to eat using soul power.
Eliana took a bite and felt her cheeks puff up as she chewed. It was delicious. Not only that, she felt a surge of energy coursing through her, revitalizing her exhausted body with each piece she gobbled up like a little gremlin.
Val found her quite cute at this moment.
“Wow, this is amazing. What kind of meat is this? Just having a bit of it, I already feel so much better, and it tastes great too,” Eliana said as she looked at Val.
Val replied, “It’s Eldertail snake meat.”
Eliana felt as though she’d been suddenly doused with cold water.
She opened her mouth, preparing to spit out the meat. It wasn’t the fact it was snake meat that bothered her. Rather, eating meat from powerful creatures could be dangerous, potentially transforming one into a monster.
Before she could spit it out, Val gently stopped her.
“Don’t worry, it’s safe to eat,” he reassured her. “I’ve purified the meat using a method I learned from a kind and knowledgeable senior. All the corrupting elements have been removed from the meat. You’ll only experience the benefits from eating it, not the harmful side effects.”
She calmed down after hearing his words and acknowledged that Val was telling the truth as she hadn’t experienced any adverse effects associated with the act while eating the meat of the eldertail snake.
She admitted to herself that she might have overreacted a bit, but she couldn’t shake off the initial jolt of fear he’d inadvertently caused her.
“Feed me,” she grumbled to him. She was still a bit shaken but was willing to let it slide if Val fulfilled her request. Ever since he looked after her when she was down with a fever, she had developed a weird obsession. She wanted to be fed by him. It was a weird kink of a sort. And she finally found a chance to have it realized.
Val complied with her wishes. He lifted her gently from the bed and placed her comfortably on his lap.
He began to feed her, scooping up pieces of the aromatic snake meat from the cauldron using wizardry and placing them into her mouth. She obediently let herself be fed by him, gradually filling up while feeling both nourished and cared for.
“Actually, I’m starting to feel a little hungry myself,” Val looked into Eliana’s eyes as he spoke to her.
“Well, there’s plenty of meat left in the cauldron. I can’t eat it all by myself, so you are welcome to have some.”
“I’m hungry, Eliana, but it’s not for the meat. It’s for you,” Val whispered into Eliana’s ear sensually before gently nibbling on her reddish earlobe. This made her squirm a bit as she sat in his lap, and as her buttocks rubbed against his sword, it hardened and grew, poking her private area. Redness suffused her cheeks immediately, turning them rosy.
“I’m feeling sore down there, Val,” Eliana complained to her beloved softly.
Val looked into her eyes with a soulful, almost sad expression. “So, does that mean I can’t satisfy my hunger?” He put on a pouty face that resembled a sad puppy.
His face was just inches from hers, and Eliana was completely captivated by how good-looking he was. Saying no to him felt like an impossible task. Thus, she relented, “You know I can’t say no to you.”
…
Later that day, Val went to the treasure pavilion and made quite a scene while selling his stuff. During that time, he also made sure it was known that he was planning on exploring the lesser dimension with Oliver.
Val had an ulterior motive for being so open about his strength and plans.
He strongly believed that this news would catch the attention of Clea, who had plans to assassinate Oliver.
He expected that Clea would react by beefing up his own preparations, perhaps even calling in more reinforcements and cursed artifacts for the assassination attempt on Oliver’s life.
For Val, this was all the more advantageous.
After all, more people involved in Clea’s plan meant more potential spoils to loot after thwarting the assassination.
Besides, Val was confident in his abilities. In his estimation, only an advanced-stage Bloodline user could genuinely pose a threat to him. Anyone below that level couldn’t kill him as he had many trump cards to preserve his life.
As for those below that level, He was not at all concerned about lesser foesโbeginner-level Bloodline users or even mid-rank Level 2 wizards were like ants beneath his feet. He could effortlessly crush them to death.
Thus, he dared to take such a risk.
Basically, Val’s performance in the Pavilion was a carefully calculated move designed to manipulate the circumstances in his favor.
If Clea indeed got wind of this and decided to bring in more forces, it would play right into Val’s hands, making his forthcoming expedition all the more lucrative and engaging!
