Chapter 123 Benefits Bestowed By The EIA
123 Benefits Bestowed By The EIA
Zeras immediately ran towards the distance spaceship as he quickly climbed up the stairs. Entering into the long hall, he could see all the New Cadets already strapped in making him the last person to arrive at the spaceship.
They gave him quite the death stare, but Zeras didn’t blame them, he would also be mad if he had to wait for a random nobody for three hours.
Navigating his way through the hall, he soon came across his Group, the Group A area as he sat on the last empty seat.
The Spaceship engine immediately rumbled as Zeras took a deep breath in.
The New Cadets Mission finally came to an end and he’ll be heading back to the base after 6 days on an Alien planet.
Zeras suddenly looked up as he felt the intense gaze of all the cadets on him who all had their mouths dropping on the ground.
Zeras raised an eyebrow wondering what they were looking at causing him to turn to the cadet on his right as he noticed he was also staring at him with his jaws sagging.
“Um, what is the problem…” Zeras asked raising an eyebrow as Leo finally got a hold of himself.
“Congratulations…” He said with a smile causing Zeras to look at him strangely.
“What congratulations?”
Leo didn’t reply and just stretched out his watch for him to see and he immediately saw the notification.
<General EIA Base Notification>
<The New Cadet who is First on the Cadets Rankings named Zeras Celestria has now been promoted to the level of a Specialist>
‘They sent it to everyone!!!’Zeras almost screamed out in shock. He knew everyone would later be aware but not so fast. He hadn’t even come to terms with the information yet.
“Oh, Thank you…” Zeras said to Leo who nodded his watch and continued tapping on his watch.
Immediately Zeras noticed something had changed, the views the other Cadets used to see him. He could feel it was no longer with indifference and now tainted with the slightest bit of respect and solemnity.
Zeras clicked on his watch and looked at the new notification that was sent to him.
<EIA’s Reward for Your Excellent Performance In The Mission>
<1. You have been Promoted from the New Cadets rank to a Specialist rank.^ Please head to the EIA training base library to learn of the perks that come with the promotion^>
<2. You have been chosen to partake in the Celestial Titans Cultivation Ruins representing the EIA.^ Please head to the EIA library in the training base to learn more.^>
<3. Your Authority level has been increased to Level 3>
<4. You’re now able to access the first level of the EIA Training Base Gadgets Structure]
<5. 100 points would now be given to you every month>
A satisfied smile appeared on Zera’s face on seeing the contents of the notifications.
The risk he went through in the mission was really worth it. He didn’t know what all these Cultivation Ruins and EIA promotion were all about but he would check it out as soon as he arrived back at the training base.
“Now to the important part…” Zeras said with an evil smile as he thought to himself, the real important reason why he went through so much risk.
A feeling of Guilt?
More of a burden?
Screw that!!! He didn’t give a damn.
‘System Interface’
[System Interface]

[You must evolve before you’re able to awaken your class authority]
[Do you wish to evolve now?]
“No!!!” Zeras immediately replied. He knew how he almost died the first time he evolved in the Mutant Organization base and was immediately knocked out cold.
He didn’t know how this would go but playing it safe was better.
[Does Host wish to level up?]
“Yes…”
[Congratulations: Host has leveled up to Level 10]
[+10 Attributes points obtained]
[Congratulations, Host has leveled up to Level 11]
[+15 Attributes points obtained]
[Total Attributes points: 25]
“Oh, 15?” Zeras asked.
[Yes, past Level 10, Host will now gain 15 attributes points instead of 10]
“Nice…” Zeras said with a smile. While an increase of five points doesn’t seem to be much. It would be a shocking amount with continuous level-ups.
“Add 8 points to strength, 7 points to perception, 9 points to Intelligence, and 1 point to agility.”
[Points successfully allocated]
[Attributes]
[Strength: 57]
[Agility: 47]
[Perception: 47]
[Intelligence: 30]
[Charm: null]
{Attributes points: 0}
‘Good. My intelligence finally caught up…’ Zeras thought with a smile that widened his ears but suddenly noticed a few of the cadets looking at him strangely.
‘Tch, damn idiots, I finally increased my intelligence to the same level as my other attributes. This is basically what it means for brawns and brains to finally align, shouldn’t I be happy.’ Zeras thought ignoring the strange gaze as his smile widened even more.
‘He must have gone senile hearing the news…” Some of the cadets thought looking at him before continuing their business.

The spaceship continued moving with horrifying speed through space, tearing through countless sound barriers and after three hours, it finally arrived at the EIA training base.
The stairs immediately opened up as Zeras also descended the spaceship with the rest of the Cadets.
“Finally back home…” Zeras thought taking a deep breath in of the familiar air and a clear noticeable effect was the gravity which seemed to have reduced on him or say back to normal.
They were all directed back to the Interdimensional combat department where Instructor Moneca was waiting.
“Congratulations on you all completing your first New Cadets mission.”
Instructor Moneca suddenly raised an eyebrow as she stretched out her hand pointing at each of them as if counting.
A shocked expression suddenly appeared on her face
“Oh? None Of You Died???”
‘What the???’ Zeras thought to himself looking at the wicked female witch.
“That’s good news. You’ll all be given three days of rest after which class will immediately begin. Also, the New Cadets battle rankings will begin soon.
So you all prepare well if you don’t want to lose your dorm room. See you all three days from now…”Instructor Moneca said as they all moved away from the hall.
Zeras immediately headed back to his dorm room, unlocked the door, and entered it, seeing it was just as he left it.
Dropping the backpack on the ground, he immediately fell onto the sofa as he muttered to himself feeling the warmth of the room
“Home Sweet Home”
He didn’t know when or how, but his EIA dorm room and probably the EIA training base felt more like a home to him.
Now he knew, he truly wasn’t wrong or made the wrong decision when he chose to join the EIA instead of being given a home by them. The EIA was already a home and probably the best home he would have ever been given in the first place.
Golden Tickets and Powerstones are greatly appreciated. Thanks for your support guys. Means a lot.
