Chapter 114 Chaos!!!
114 Chaos!!!
This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to greatly increase his energy points.
All he needed was a chance to enter the room.
“Do you know that although everyone says the Shaman always stays in the Temple, no one has ever actually seen him in the temple before not even the guards…” Juro suddenly said to him in a mysterious voice.
“Hmm. That’s right. But if none ever sees him, does that mean he doesn’t stay in the temple?” Zeras asked genuinely surprised.
“No, he stays in the temple, but no one knows where exactly he stays apart from a select few, and I Juro I’m part of the few,” Juro said the pride in his voice unconcealed.
“Only the most important guards should be aware of that. Probably the Core guards. There’s no way you’ll know such a piece of secretive information…”
“I do. Although I might look like a simple inner guard, I’m actually a very important guard in the temple…”
“Oh, then where does the Shaman stay?
“Tch. As if I would let you know such a piece of important information for free…” Juro said puffing out his chest.
“You know it is not even up to four hours that we have known each other and yet I feel as if you were once my long-lost brother. How about I take you to the Midaz drink bar tonight? I’ll be juicing you as many bottles as you want for free to celebrate our friendship…” Zeras said with an amiable smile.
“Tch. You truly have a silver tongue. Then to pay you back, I will let you on the information. Who cares about the place where an Old man hides in any way…” Juro said.
“Then you have to listen well, the Shaman resides in the last gate to the left in the tower. It’s deeply within the core of the place and maybe even the most secretive area of the temple. No one has ever gotten that far, and two of the most powerful Humbans guard the entrance to the place…” Juro said as Zera’s eyes narrowed.
The most secretive area of the place! That was probably where Princess Diana was being kept. But getting there was impossible as he already no one had ever been allowed in and it was even guarded by very powerful Humbans.
Zera’s eyes suddenly narrowed as he looked at Juro beside him before steeling his mind.
“Um, Big Brother Juro. You said you know of every area in the temple don’t you?” Zeras said clearly fawning on him.
Juro immediately scoffed as he raised his chest higher.
“Of course I do.”
Then do you perhaps know of a wall with the inscription of a flower in it?” Zeras asked sinisterly although he kept a straight fawning smile on his face.
“Tch. Do you think I’ll fall for such a simple thing? Is that not it over there…” Juro said pointing at the distance wall about ten steps from where he was where the image of a small flower could be seen.
Zera’s eyes dilated in shock as he muttered to himself:
“So that is the secret door that led to the most secretive area of the temple according to Natasha. I guess she was telling the truth…” “Anyway, Xero. Can you hold for me? I want to go take a crap…” Juro said as Zeras let out a chuckle. It was strange but the Humbans don’t say they want to defecate. Instead, they say they want to take a crap.
“Don’t worry brother. You’ll be surprised how much of a good job I’ll do before you come back…” Zeras said with a smile as he watched Juro’s back quickly disappear into the distance.
Waiting for a minute more, in case Juro decides to come back. Zeras looked around the hall as he noticed none was paying any attention or looking at his side, causing him to take a step back as he gently opened the door and slithered into it very quietly.
“Clink”
The door was carefully closed as Zeras wiped the sweat away from his head before focusing on the room and he couldn’t help but drop his jaws to the ground and his hair rising on end.
Before him were the mummified skeletons of ten gigantic beasts, that though dead, radiated an aura that made his heart palpitate in horror.
Their natural body aura was unlike anything that Zeras had ever seen making him wonder just how powerful they were when alive.
Zeras calmed down his beating heart as he walked towards one of the beasts resembling a huge ape and touched its forehead.
[A dead beast at the Peak Cosmic rank stage has been found]
[Does the Host wish to absorb its life essence?]
“Yes…” Zeras said almost screaming out in glee.
White essence mist immediately rose from the forehead of the beast as it entered Zera’s hand quickly moving through his entire body.
After 5 minutes of continuous absorption, something that has never happened before as the highest time Chaos Devourer ever took was two seconds. A notification finally appeared:
[Total Energy 165/165]
Zeras stood there numbed by the information as his eyes widened.
“100 points of energy?” The highest he ever gained was 10. Now he got 100?
A strange occurrence suddenly happened as Zeras watched the gigantic ape corpse suddenly become dust as it floated away in the air…
The corpse had been in the room for countless years so once the remaining life essence got absorbed, it immediately dispersed into dust.
Now left In the room were Nine gigantic beasts.
“Well, since I would be leaving here today. Might as well just absorb every last thing…” Zeras muttered as he headed towards the second beast and began absorbing the energy.
[Congratulations Host has absorbed the life essence of a Peak Cosmic rank stage beast]
[+100 Energy gained]
[Congratulations Host has absorbed the life essence of a Peak Cosmic rank stage beast]
[+100 Energy gained]
….
[+100 Energy gained]
[+100 Energy gained]
[+100 Energy gained]
[+100 Energy gained]
[Total Energy Points: 760/765]
A smile appeared on Zera’s face as he headed towards the remaining three beats present in the room when suddenly his heart almost leaped out of his chest.
“KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM”
A horrifying explosion that almost deafened his ear rang throughout the entire temple as Zeras felt the land beneath him shake crazily.
He looked at the three remaining corpses but he knew there wasn’t more time.
“At least I got 700 points of energy. I won’t die to greed…” Zeras said as he hurriedly moved out.
“All guards are to head to the Core area of the temple right now. Go. Go. Go.”
A loud order rang out from the front as Zeras watched hundreds of guards rapidly running towards the direction where Juro mentioned the Shaman stays.
His eyes narrowed in realization as another apocalyptic collision of power rang out from the distance.
“Are they finally making their move?” Zeras muttered under his breath not following running guards as he looked at the wall which had the inscription of a flower instead.
Ze0ras took a deep breath in as he knew one thing was sure:
The Chaos Will be starting soon…
