102 Joining The Main Paratrooper Division

“Since you can identify that this set of equipment is the real deal. Then let’s get over to the main mission…” Officer Emmaus said swiping away their dot images depicting their location as he tapped on the full central image past the EIA base.

“This is the Humban Chasm…” Officer Arroyo said as he pointed at the large circular area painted in a mixture of red and dark while two different dots could be seen moving erratically in the space.

“This is the real battlefield. It is where the current battle is going on. Those blue buttons represent EIA official while those red ones represent the Humbans…” Zeras nodded in understanding but he saw something that made him a little confused.

“But the blue buttons are greater in number than the red dots which means we the EIA are more in number than the Alien group, why has the battle not ended yet? With this number, it should have been a long-concluded war…”

“You have good eyes kid. True, we are greater in number than the Humbans. Heck, just us alone and we will decimate the Humbans…” The burly Officer Halo said as he clamped Zera’s shoulder with enough force that made his knee buckle a little.

“But we can’t…” Officer Arroyo interjected.

“This EIA mission as you might have already known is to save the Amazonian princess. While it was reported that the Amazonian princess is still on this planet. The Humbans have rejected that…” “Then, let’s just brute force our way in and check if it’s true…If it’s not the Princess is not truly on this planet. Then we’ll apologize and leave…” Zeras said. Since the doubt is whether the princess is here or not. Why not just check it, and if it’s true, they’ll then simply leave?

“Tch, you’re just like Halo. Both of you’re simply brutes, relying more on brawns than brains…” The officer wearing an eye mask, Officer Pirad said as he touched his forehead, clearly frustrated by their inability to implement a bit of sense to the matter.

“Hey, We’re not lacking sense. It’s just that unlike you, we’re real men…” Officer Halo immediately replied as he clamped Zera’s shoulder once again and dragged him towards himself, causing Zera’s legs to vibrate due to the crazy physical force.

“While that is a feasible option. It’s impossible, Zeras. Forcing our way in would result in us breaching the privacy rule of the Humban Planet created by the Universal Planetary Organization… Brute forcing is out of the way. So we’re left with an option…” Officer Pirad said.

“To confirm the princess is here without breaching the rule. While the gene tracker confirms the presence of the princess being here. It’s not enough proof for the Universal Planetary Organization. The war right now is just a small probing, to buy time and place the Humbans on their toes. You can take it as us venting our anger on losing our princess on them. But in actual reality, the war is just a lie… The true mission is to use the chaos of the war to worm our way into this particular area of the Humban Planet where it is most likely the princess is kept…” Officer Zurin, a light male officer wearing a T-shirt and an EIA trouser uniform, said he dragged an image from his side and sent it towards Zeras.

Zeras looked at the image on the table, and he saw just after the place called the Humban Chasm where the war was taking place was a large setting where different primitive structures could be seen, but at the end of the structure, a gigantic structure could be seen, very large compared to the others.

“That large structure is the Humban Tower. We believe firmly that if the princess is to be kept somewhere, it can only be that place…”

“Hmm, but have you checked the place?” Zeras asked.

“No, we haven’t…” Officer Emmaus said shaking his head.

“What!, why???”

“Because we can’t just go to the most important structure of an entire planet and ask, “Please can we go in…”

“But that is the most probable place where the princess is hidden…” Zeras replied deeply confused.

“Probably. We need to be sure that is the place before any type of infiltration operation is carried out. If we go there right now and we’re caught, then the Humbans would report it to the Universal Planetary Organization and we might be ordered to forget about this issue…

So we need intelligence to confirm the princess is truly there. That way whatever risk is encountered will be worth it…”

“OK, Sir. Then let’s check it then…” Zeras advised.

“We’re already on it… The reconnaissance team of the New cadets Interdimensional divishashave been sent… They simply have to check if there’s anything strange or out of the norm going on… You might want to ask why we had to allow New Cadets to do such an important job… It is because of this…” Officer Emmaus said as he clicked on a holographic image just before the Humban settlement.

There, a wall could be seen with an especially large nozzle emanating from it. It was almost like a spaceship plasma nozzle except this one was primitive looking.

“That thing is called, the Energy Rank Noozle Detector, but we prefer to call it, the Kill The Strong Weapon… It’s an impressive piece of equipment that immediately releases a powerful Mana blast it detects any strange aura, except for that of a Humban, with a cultivation above that of the Star rank stage…

This had made us unable it send the air reconnaissance team to investigate the tower.

But now that the New cadets are here, we can safely send them to check the tower out and they won’t get noticed by the artifact. That’s why it has been delayed till now.

“What we just need to do is wait for the imagery intelligence report of the Aerial reconnaissance team that will be sent…” Officer Arroyo butted in causing Zeras to give a nod in understanding…

6hrs later…

“We’ve been sent the report…” Officer Arroyo’s voice rang out as the group of six gathered at the table, Zeras included.

“These are the images…” 𝑓𝑤𝘦ℴ𝓋.𝘤

Different images appeared on the table as Zeras looked intently at the image.

It was a picture of a pretty large tower made with jagged obsidian dark-colored rocks.

Around the tower, groups of Humbans could be seen at every juncture patrolling the tower vigilantly.

“There’s something strange…” Officer Spartanburg said breaking the silence.

“Yes. The number of guards who regularly patrol the Tower is just about 10 and they are always very lax. But now, more than 50 guards are patrolling and taking shifts. It’s very strange seeing how they have suddenly tightened up their guards.

This is a clear sign they are hiding something in the tower and if there’s something important they’re hiding at this period…” Officer Arroyo said suspiciously.

“Then it’s the princess…” Officer Pirad said reassuringly.

“Good, if the image is true. Then the tower is truly the greatest suspected area. But if the image was tweaked and we get caught in the tower, then we’ll fail this mission…” Officer Spartanburg said.

“It’s true…” Zeras said suddenly causing the others to raise an eyebrow.

“Oh, what makes you say that…” Officer Emmaus asked curiously.

“Which group of Cadets took the image?” Zeras asked Officer Emmaus.

“The report said it group E of the New Cadets Aerial reconnaissance division.”

“Then, it’s true…” Zeras said even more reassured. He knew Endricott was a part of group E and even their captain. He was most likely the one who took these images.

Zeras did not doubt that Endricott’s Intelligence couldn’t be a compromised one. This he knew, for as long as he knew him.

“You have a point. There’s no way the young chaps would be able to tweak the images. So it should be at least 70% true. We can still bet on that percentage.” Officer Arroyo said.

“Now that we know the tower is where the princess is kept. The Infiltration process can now begin…”

We’ve finally reached a 100+ chapters, 102 to be exact . My brains have been drained of quite the cells after this. I wouldn’t mind someone giving me an Inspiration Capsule to rejuvenate my brain cells.

Haha, just joking.
