Chapter 2658 - 2676: Breaking the Record?

"I was just angry a moment ago, but not anymore."

Jane Sampson sat there and laughed again, "I always remember that a pregnant woman shouldn’t get angry. If I’m always angry, what if the baby ends up having a bad temper?"

Jane Sampson touched her belly, "I am a pregnant woman, after all!"

After saying this, Jane Sampson looked up at James Black and showed her small white teeth in a grin.

"You know, with your temper, grandfather said the baby’s temper mustn’t be like yours. It should be more like mine, so I need to take good care of my emotions."

"Did grandfather say there should be only one wooden block in the house, and not a second one?" James Black could almost imagine how Old Master Black said this, with that disdainful tone and expression. James understood.

"Yes." Jane Sampson finished speaking and laughed first.

A pregnant woman’s emotions easily fluctuate.

When Jane Sampson gets angry, she really gets angry, but after a while, her bad mood disperses quickly, and she can sit there smiling like a fool from the landlord’s house.

James Black stayed at the Black Residence with Jane Sampson until ten o’clock before driving back to the base. Jane Sampson, after washing, returned to the room, holding her mobile phone and scrolling through Twitter.

Seeing all the fans comforting her not to be angry, Jane Sampson hurriedly posted on Twitter to reassure everyone.

The next morning, Coco Edwards came to the Black Residence to pick up Jane Sampson to go to the studio.

When Jane Sampson left home, her hands were still carrying a pile of food, which were snacks made by Aunt and some prepared fruit salad.

Seeing Jane Sampson bringing out so much stuff, Coco Edwards quickly went up to help, but she couldn’t bear to look directly.

"People who don’t know might think we’re going on a picnic," Coco Edwards teased Jane Sampson.

"You don’t understand a pregnant woman’s stomach; it’s completely unreasonable. When it says it’s hungry, it’s hungry. When it wants to eat something, it eats something. I have reasons to suspect there’s a little chubby in my belly," Jane Sampson seriously whispered to Coco Edwards, "What do you think, how heavy are other people’s babies at birth?"

"I’ve heard of eight-pound ones; an eight-pound newborn is already considered heavy," Coco Edwards said.

"Then the one I’m carrying might be a twenty-pound chubby, which is why I can eat so much," Jane Sampson analyzed seriously.

"How’s that possible? No baby is that heavy. Your belly would be bursting. I know of an eight-pounder, and his mother struggled to give birth to him," Coco Edwards shook her head repeatedly. "A twenty-pound baby? Are you trying to break a record in this regard?"

After hearing this, Jane Sampson laughed first.

Whimsically trying to attribute her body weight to the baby.

Failure.

The two of them chatted and laughed as they reached the studio. Rock Bell exclaimed when he saw Jane Sampson in the office.

"Indeed, seeing is believing! You do look chubby, but your complexion is rosy and glows. You didn’t wear any makeup when you went out, right? Your skin is so luminous even without makeup?" Rock Bell sat down next to Jane Sampson and reached out to touch her belly. "I heard moms who are pregnant with daughters have better skin."

"Don’t say that in front of James Black, or he’ll be over the moon. If a son is born, he’ll be happy for nothing," Jane Sampson said. "James Black, even though he says he likes both daughters and sons, actually wants a daughter more."

"Nowadays, dads all like the idea of a sweet little girl," Rock Bell laughed.

As the three of them were chatting, Amber Edwards arrived.

Amber Edwards came alone with documents and didn’t bring anyone else.
