Chapter 16: Finding Her a Wife.

(Celia’s POV)

Unfortunately, Faith ended up being almost correct. Or rather, I don’t know if Ino’s fated wife is the queen, but the red string is heading directly to the castle.

Going invisible, I snuck into the heavily guarded place, and I kept following the string further in. Thankfully, the string didn’t go to the throne room. I mean, this wasn’t my castle, and I haven’t even been here before, but surely, the giant door led to the throne room, right? Regardless, I carried on past it.

Faith: “Is her fated wife really going to be the queen? Just like you said, I truly expected her to be… younger.” She asked with an unsure tone.

Celia: “Eh, a woman can be a mature age, but still act young. Perhaps her wife will be a mature woman, with a very young and spirited personality?” I proposed.

Faith: “Ha! The idea of a milf acting like a teenager is… really, really funny!” She broke out in laughter.

Faith and I chatted like that for a while. As, I was taking my damn time with following the string. If Ino’s fated woman isn’t… what I expected, that means getting them both together will be far harder…

A Slow Walk Later.

Eventually, I came to a guarded room. Two maids were stationed outside of it, but said maids weren’t normal people. Instead, their levels were almost the max level that a human could reach.

One thing that I forgot to mention, but this kingdom is actually very powerful. I mean, if they weren’t powerful and rich, then how could they afford such beautiful and very strong maids? Anyway, how I do I get inside now?…

Door Opening Sound!

Vanessa: “Are you two okay?” She asked.

Maid A: “My Lady? We’re perfectly fine, yes.” She answered with a nod.

Maid B: “Lady Vanessa, we’re just attending to our post, as usual. There is nothing to worry about.” She assured.

Vanessa: “Isn’t it about time for you two to go on break? It won’t matter much if you both leave, as who in their right mind would invade our castle?” She said with her arms crossed.

Maid A: “No, no, My Lady. When can I take our breaks later.” She quickly denied.

Vanessa: “Are you sure?” While repeating this question, she stealthily motioned me into the room with her fingers.

She can see me? What the heck… Now that I noticed this, I also realized how she opened both of the doors up, and she also left a decent sized entry for me to get inside of the room as well.

Faith: “Silly, silly…” She said with a sigh.

Celia: “What is silly? Why aren’t you even surprised that she can see me?” I ask with a confused tone.

Faith: “Just go into the room, and this woman will surely reveal all to you in the end. Trust me, I assure you that it will be very interesting!” She replied with an excited tone.

Celia: “…”
