Chapter 1: At Least I Woke Up…

(Celia’s POV)

My head was splitting… no, wait. There was actually a sword, which was jammed very deep into my head. What the fuck…

Thud!

Pulling it out, I was still quite confused. Such a weak weapon… shouldn’t be able to give me a slight bruise, let alone pierce my skull like this.

And, as you would expect, since I survived such a thing, I quickly healed back to perfection. What caused this silly event to happen?

Adventurer: “The Demon Queen is… immortal. Everyone, run for your lives!!!” He explained with a tone of sheer doom.

Celia: “…”

Ah, it was a setup for the fourth part of the game, huh? Well, at least it is being a little original this time… The group of adventurers, which was twenty people in total, all stormed away, and as fast as their human legs could take them.

Looking around, I was in some regal castle, one that looked… very evil? I mean, it was nice, but the aesthetics are clearly leaning more on the evil side of things.

James: “My Queen, why must you allow them to injure you so?” She asked with a concerned tone.

Currently, I was on a throne, and a lone maid was by my side. Thankfully, the game was fair in this part, and I had been given the knowledge of the Demon Queen. This was James, my maid, and the sole member of my group.

Celia: “If I do not show them that killing me is meaningless… then they’ll never stop.” I answered.

James: “But… doesn’t it hurt, My Queen?” She replied.

Celia: “Hurt? Not in the least. After all, I can just stop my body from feeling any kind of pain. Don’t you recall me saying this before?” I replied with an unbothered tone.

James: “Ah, that is correct, My Queen. My memories must be failing me…” She said with a remorseful tone.

James was… clearly testing me. If it wasn’t for the memories that I was given, then I would have blown my cover wide open. So this part of the game is roleplaying? Nemu really did cheap out on the originality aspect of the game…

Celia: “Think nothing of it, James. As for why I do this… you know it better than me by this point. If I show how impossible killing me is… then at least for a few generations, the humans don’t bother me at all, and I am greatly feared by them.” I explained.

James: “Wouldn’t it be far better if you just eliminate their entire race altogether?” She proposed.

Celia: “I could, and it would be better for us, yes. But where is the fun in that? No human can hope to give me a challenge, nor give me any hint of fun from fighting them. Not to mention… but the other humanoid races do the same as them.” I deny.

James: “Even still, killing them all would be the perfect solution.” She repeated.

Celia: “Solution? Perhaps… But among those races… are very beautiful women. You know me, and how I cannot hurt a single hair on a woman’s body.” I reply with a hearty laugh.

James: “…”
