(Celia’s POV)

Ignoring the giggling girl, I approached the room, which I assumed was the CEO’s office. Opening the door, I was greeted by a woman… who was looking directly at me.

Sven: “I know that you’re here, whoever you are.” She said with a smile, resting her chin on the back of her hands as her arms were propped up on her desk.

Celia: “How’d you notice me?” I ask with a curious tone after undoing my invisibility.

Sven: “I saw the stairwell access door to this floor… being picked by itself. Who hired you? I can pay triple what they paid you.” She answered and then spoke her proposal.

Celia: “No one hired me.” I reply.

Sven: “Then what do you want? I’ll have you know… there are five S Rank evolved humans on my payroll. And they can rush to this room within seconds.” She threatened.

Oh, she is feisty. Why do I say that? Because she had already alerted those people she mentioned. In truth, this woman, Sven, had no intentions of making a deal with me. Ah, her name is on a very expensive looking plaque. It’s just sitting on her desk.

Just like she said, five strong people had soon rushed into the room. They immediately started a fight with me. Of course, I didn’t wish to kill any of them. I was trying to recruit Sven; you know.

An Hour Later.

Defeated, Sven’s guard lied on the ground, motionless. I didn’t kill them, no. Instead, I just beat them up until they finally passed out. I also healed them, by the way!

Sven: “You…have more than one power?” She asked in shock.

Celia: “Stop being surprised… For a Higher Being, your intelligence seems to be lacking somewhat.” I reply with a laugh.

Sven: “Oh… you’re a player, huh? Then it makes sense… Very well, with your strength, I assume that you aim to kill all the players living in this city, yes? Including me…” She said with a grim tone.

The woman was shaking in her shoes, so I guess that Sven doesn’t have a good power at all. Perhaps she has a power that lets her set up magic cameras? I don’t know…

Faith: “Celia, I lied about the number of players here…” She admitted.

Celia: “I figured… What is the actual count?” I ask with a sigh.

Faith: “About 5,000…” She answered.

Celia: “…”

Hm… No wonder there were far more than “five” players in that hotel. Ignoring that omission from Faith, I decided to let this woman stew for a while longer.

Faith: “Why aren’t you replying?” She asked.

Celia: “Maybe she will inform us of the other players? She mentioned that these guards were S Rank, but I had no idea that evolved humans even had a grading system.” I answered.

Faith: “Oh! Good idea. You always do either funny, entertaining, or very smart things, Celia.” She praised.

Celia: “…”

Since it is Faith, I kinda can’t tell if she is joking and teasing me, or she is actually praising me for real. Either way, Sven was getting nervous now… Oh, Sven must be a sub, as damn… she is the type that is fun to tease!
