Celia: After Dying in the Apocalypse, I Live Once Again!
Volume 10. Chapter 284: Trying To Stop A Horrible, Horrible Disaster! (Chapter 1185)
Chapter 284: Trying To Stop A Horrible, Horrible Disaster!
As you’d expect, the after-party for the wedding was still ongoing. It didn’t seem like the guests wanted it to ever end, which is quite understandable. After all, they’ll then have to leave Home, thus, forever losing access to Celia and the luxuries that she so easily provides. Even if they’ve all now become Immortals, living in Home is still a privilege that one must earn.
That, unlike with most things, is something all the Higher Beings of Home actually agree on. Of course, nepotism is accepted, but most, if not all of the guests will have to return to their original Dimensions. Although, for now, this part of the wedding could go on for literal years, and no one would complain. Ah, if only the core member of it was findable…
Guanyu: “Have you any luck in finding her, Vulely? I cannot possibly read the narration in these circumstances…” She asked with a deeply worried and frustrated tone.
Vulely: “I haven’t, no. Since there are quintillions of guests…at least one or more has seen Celia; we’ve just been unable to find a person that is aware of her location.” I replied with a groan, equally frustrated.
Guanyu: “What of the other wives, daughters, and friends? Perhaps they’ve been successful, and have yet to inform us of them finding her?” She mused with an uncertain thinking pose.
Vulely: “They weren’t able to find her, either.” I instantly denied with confidence.
Guanyu: “How are you so certain of that?” She replied with a raised eyebrow.
Vulely: “I asked Aelia to communicate between everyone, and keep info up-to-date. While not an AI, she does computer tasks amazingly well.” I clarified with a shrug.
Originally, Guanyu was merely joking about Celia doing something absurd. However, that joke turned into a potentially horrid reality, as, when we left to go be by her side, Celia was nowhere to be found. The others thought that she was with us, still indulging in bedly activities; so no one found her absence odd. To be fair, Celia typically go for entire months straight, so this wasn’t a weird thing to assume.
She never taught the other Pure Mana users, so those threads couldn’t be used to locate Celia, either. Every method that we recalled…failed to find her, like Celia had up and vanished completely. Fuck, I just hope that this won’t stupidly end in a sad, depressing way. Like, she did too much, so now Celia dies; I’ve read far too many novels that have endings like that…
Hug!
Vulely: “( ? _ ? )”
Guanyu: “Vulely, there is no reason for you to be so saddened. Celia…isn’t going to die, nor will your narration end in horror. Home expanded a lot to host the wedding, she is surely around somewhere, safe as can be. It is far more likely that…we’re simply overreacting.” She said with a coaxing tone, embracing me tightly.
Vulely: “I… Thank you, Guan…” My heartfelt words got cut off.
Aelia: “Perhaps, everyone besides me has gone mad?” She proposed, popping up out of nowhere, shocking both of us into silence.
