Celia: After Dying in the Apocalypse, I Live Once Again!
Volume 10. Chapter 262: Failing At My Job… (Chapter 1163)
Chapter 262: Failing At My Job…
Obviously, how the invitations work was talked about amongst those that made them. Unfortunately, I seem to have accidentally not narrated over such discussions, and didn’t know about them occurring at all. Has Celia’s (oddly stronger) love made me a fool? Of course, that much is a guarantee, and is beside the point.
Shit… How much juicy content have I ended up skipping over?! Let me look through the past for a bit… Damn, Runeth is pregnant again? That wife of hers actually managed to get Runeth preggers via normal lesbian sex once more… Though, that isn’t so shocking; me missing it, I mean. Runeth hasn’t told us about it yet, since the wedding is about to be held.
Guanyu: “Other than Runeth’s unannounced pregnancy, did you happen to miss anything else important?” She asked with a raised eyebrow, appearing behind me out of the blue.
Vulely: “W-what do you mean, Guanyu?” I replied with an awkward tone, stuttering as I became unable to look at her directly.
Guanyu: “You’ve not taken your job seriously lately, it seems. Although, it is soon to end, so I do not blame you for getting too relaxed. Either way, please answer my question, dear.” She continued with a nice smile.
Vulely: “…”
Regardless of what her enemies and victims might think, this Cultivator is a woman of honor; rarely one to ever go back on her words. Knowing that…how is it that she is aware of my fuckup?! Surely, Guanyu isn’t going against Celia’s morals, and reading my thoughts, right?
Such a thing was completely banned within the family, and is blocked within Home by default! But the fact remains that she…clearly now knows about what I’ve been thinking this entire time. Perhaps she selectively listens in on family members thoughts?
Thud!
Vulely: “(~OAO)”
Guanyu: “No, I am not reading your mind, Vulely; nor the minds of our family members. Given how much I love Celia…reading her biography is a necessity, no?” She said with a giggle, reading through a rather thick book.
Vulely: “…”
Guanyu: “Before you ask a pointless and obvious question, yes, this is your narration. The last volume, that is; which is currently be written as we speak.” She clarified with a smug tone and expression.
Ooooh, that’s how. The Cultivator has been able to access my narration at all times; with me not knowing she could do so. Granted, everything depicted within it…are things I am okay with getting made public. But, like, only long after the fact!
Now, I am faced with the reality that Guanyu has read everything I’ve put into this narration…and I feel like going to dig a large, planet-sized hole to crawl into is a good idea. I cannot die in that metaphorical hole, though…
Guanyu: “Is there a reason why you keep referring to me as ‘Cultivator,’ Vulely?” She asked with a frown, as if she’s (she has!!!) been wanting to ask this of me for a long time.
Vulely: “…”
