Chapter 210: Chapter 210: Your Daughter is a Thief

Niannian was crying in Qin Tianxuan’s arms.

She cried without lifting her head.

When Qin Tianxuan had rushed into the classroom, his daughter had been just like this. She wouldn’t speak, no matter how he asked.

Qin Tianxuan was growing impatient, but he maintained a calm expression.

He had to figure out what happened.

The wealthy woman named Liu Qin shot him a sideways glance. "Let’s cut the crap. Your daughter is a thief. She stole my son’s imported stationery. So, how are you going to solve this?"

A glint flashed in Qin Tianxuan’s eyes, but he said nothing.

But in Liu Qin’s eyes, this thief’s father was just a coward.

She sneered and took out her phone. "I’ve already called the school leadership and the counselor for Class Two. We can forget about the parent-teacher conference today. This needs to be dealt with first!"

After speaking, she turned and pulled out a chubby little boy.

The chubby boy was a head taller than the other children and seemed two or three years older.

While the other kids were about six or seven, this little fatty was almost ten.

He stood by his mother’s side and pointed a finger obnoxiously. "It was her! The one named Qin Niannian stole my stationery! Mommy, she’s a thief! Hurry up and kill her for me! I want my treasures."

The little fatty cried, scuffing his feet on the ground, snot and tears streaming down his face.

Liu Qin pulled her son up, wiping his nose while coaxing him, "Don’t worry, Mommy will make this right for you!"

Then she launched into a tirade. "My son’s backpack was bought on a trip abroad! It’s a luxury item, crocodile skin, over sixty thousand! And the pencils and erasers are all limited-edition Disney items. They add up to thirty or forty thousand!"

She sneered at this point. "Stationery worth over a hundred thousand is nothing to my family—just pocket money. But those things are hard to buy in Da Xia, and I absolutely despise poor wretches who steal!"

All the parents in the room looked at Qin Tianxuan. Some showed disgust, while others were filled with sympathy.

In their eyes, the father and daughter were a pitiful sight.

They looked like people who had never seen the world, and no one knew how they had gotten into such a fine, aristocratic school.

Just then, a group of school administrators appeared.

Seeing the wealthy woman Liu Qin’s grim expression, the school staff were all terrified.

She was the school’s biggest benefactor, after all. Last time, she had donated two libraries to the school in one go.

She was not someone they could afford to offend.

"I want you to find out for me how this Qin Niannian got into the school."

"Well, Ms. Liu, our principal is in the city for a conference. He’s not here. Investigating a student’s background requires the principal’s personal approval..."

The vice principal hadn’t even finished speaking before Liu Qin slapped him across the face.

"Are you deaf? I told you to look it up, so you’ll look it up right now!"

"Y-yes, alright. Please wait a moment!"

The trembling vice principal put on his glasses, opened the nearby computer, and logged into the system.

"Hmm? This Qin Niannian is a temporary transfer student, a day student, and hasn’t completed any of the paperwork. Th-this... she hasn’t even paid the tuition yet!"

The vice principal saw the signature for Qin Niannian’s enrollment—it was from the principal, the head of the school!

He sensed something was wrong.

’Could she also be here because of connections?’

But Liu Qin and the other parents present misunderstood.

They were incredulous. "No tuition paid, and she just transfers in? Is this what you call professional management at Evergreen Ivy School?"

Turning, Liu Qin glared at Qin Tianxuan. "Well, look at this. All sorts of riff-raff are getting into our Evergreen Ivy now. A thief for a daughter and a loser for a dad, just as I thought. Care to explain yourself!"

Qin Tianxuan slowly took out his phone and connected to Prince.

"What kind of shoddy work is Evergreen Ivy School doing? Niannian’s tuition hasn’t even been paid?" Qin Tianxuan’s tone was off.

Prince was shocked and immediately explained, "That school has been under the Longyue Group for a while now. We began the acquisition process back when we sent the young miss Niannian there. What’s wrong? Is there a problem?"

’So that’s how it is.’

Qin Tianxuan put down his phone, still not saying a word.

"Hey, you playing dumb?" The two men behind Liu Qin walked over, looking annoyed. "Your daughter stole our young master’s stationery, and you can’t even afford tuition. Are you a fucking con artist?"

A burst of laughter erupted from the crowd.

At that moment, Niannian couldn’t hold it in any longer. She wrapped her arms around her father’s neck and cried out, "I didn’t steal anything! I-it was after school at noon, he went to play on the rocking horse and asked me to watch his backpack. I watched it for a long, long time, and when he came back, he just grabbed the bag and ran off without even saying thank you."

Niannian cried, pointing at the little fatty. "He’s so mean! He lost his own backpack and was afraid of getting in trouble, so he framed me."

But the little fatty on the other side put on an even more convincing act. He threw himself on the floor, rolling around and wailing pitifully, making one want to go up and kick him senseless.

The wealthy woman pulled her son up with a pained expression and also began to throw a fit. "This must be resolved! Otherwise, I’ll have my big brother handle it!"

’Oh my god, her big brother is the Vice Governor of Jinling!’

’If the Vice Governor gets involved, this will really blow up.’

The school’s vice principal’s eyes widened. "Qin Niannian’s parent, I advise you to admit your mistake and pay the compensation immediately. Otherwise, I’ll have no choice but to let the Police Department handle it."

Qin Tianxuan held his crying daughter, gently wiping away her tears.

"Stationery worth a hundred thousand means less than shit to me!" he said, word by word. "But the injustice my daughter has suffered is something no amount of money can make up for! You say my daughter stole stationery? I’m now suspecting your son of framing an innocent person!"

At this, Qin Tianxuan took out his phone again and quickly sent a text message: "Deploy the Martial Venerable Hall, the Military Supervision Office, and the Police Department. I want this cleared up within half an hour. Search every inch of Evergreen Ivy Primary School and find that damned backpack!"

Things outside were about to get lively.

Just then, the teacher from Elite Class Two also arrived.

She wore gold-rimmed glasses and had a fierce look on her face.

"Oh, Ms. Liu, I am so sorry. I failed to teach the students properly. I mean, that Qin Niannian is just a transfer student with a murky background. She’s not focused on her studies, always dozing off in class. It’s obvious she’s a problem child!"

The female teacher began to speak as soon as she arrived.

Niannian couldn’t help but cry again. "I was just worried about Little Mom, but I’m very serious in class! I only dozed off once!"

"Don’t cry!" Qin Tianxuan’s heart felt like it was being twisted by a knife. "We’re not going to this damn school anymore. Daddy won’t let you suffer any more injustice."

Niannian shook her head repeatedly. "I have to go to school. Little Mom said that children who don’t go to school will become stupid."

She finally lifted her head, but Qin Tianxuan’s whole body jolted again.

His daughter had been buried in his arms the whole time, not lifting her head, so he hadn’t seen it. Her little ear was bruised black and blue, and the right side of her pale little face was bright red.

’Sh-she was hit?!!’
