Celestial Night Emperor
Chapter 176: The Fall of the Black Dragon
Chapter 176: Chapter 176: The Fall of the Black Dragon
Jin Longhai was crushed by the head of his security—a man standing six-foot-three and weighing over two hundred pounds—and his agonized scream echoed through the villa.
A burly man weighing over two hundred pounds wasn’t all fat—he was solid muscle. Being crushed with that much force was like being hit by a boulder.
Jin Longhai was no spring chicken, and though he had kept himself in decent shape, the impact broke at least seven of his bones.
He lay on the floor, wailing in agony.
His god-sons stood around, completely dumbfounded.
People need time to react.
The average person’s initial reaction to such a sudden turn of events is often slow.
These key members of the Black Dragon Bank were flashy and arrogant on the streets, calling themselves the Nine Dragons of Jinling, but in reality, they were all useless thugs who had never been in a real fight.
They were all frozen by Qin Tianxuan’s swift and brutal methods.
Even now, none of them moved to help their wailing godfather.
The door on the opposite side of the room opened, and Qin Tianxuan stepped inside.
His gaze swept across the room before he pointed at the graceful mistress. "You. Get out."
The woman shuddered.
Qin Tianxuan frowned. "If you want to live, get out. If you stay here with Jin Longhai, you’re just another unrepentant woman helping a villain. And I never show mercy to women like that!"
The woman was beautiful, but her mind had gone completely blank.
Jin Longhai roared, "Ye Mingzhu, you dare leave?"
The woman named Ye Mingzhu had a decision to make.
Should she stay with Jin Longhai, or should she listen to the young man in front of her?
With no time to think, she sized up the situation and instinctively made her gamble.
Ye Mingzhu abandoned Jin Longhai and everyone else in the room, fleeing as fast as she could.
Qin Tianxuan turned and shut the door, his movements casual and unhurried.
By now, the nine god-sons had scrambled to help Jin Longhai to his feet.
They glared, wanting to spit out some tough words, but Qin Tianxuan’s sheer presence made them swallow their threats.
"Don’t bother looking outside. Your security team has been wiped out."
Qin Tianxuan casually sat down on the luxurious sofa, tapping his fingers on the armrest. "Jin Longhai, you and I have two scores to settle."
Jin Longhai was in so much pain he could barely breathe, his mind screaming for an ambulance. But those words sent a jolt through him.
He gritted his teeth and forced himself to stand straight, struggling to maintain his dignity as a Jianghu boss.
"Who... who the fuck are you?"
Qin Tianxuan stared at him. "My surname is Qin. That’s all you’re worthy of knowing. That woman you just insulted, Chu Xinyue, is my mother. That’s our first score."
Jin Longhai was utterly stunned.
’Chu Xinyue’s son?’
’This... this is like he appeared out of thin air! I just spat a few curses, and her son shows up?’
’What the hell?’
Qin Tianxuan raised a second finger. "The second score: you conspired with the Divine Doctor Ye Family. You’ve crossed one of my lines. Now, do you have anything to say for yourself?"
Jin Longhai braced himself on a table, wanting to let out a derisive laugh, but the sharp, stabbing pain from his broken bones was unbearable.
He couldn’t laugh, so he forced his hand up, his voice a weak bluster. "Get... get him!"
His nine god-sons and the other core members of Black Dragon rubbed their hands together as they closed in.
One of them postured by picking up a wine bottle and smashing it with a CRACK.
Another grabbed a chair, his eyes wide with fury.
A few of the crazier ones even snapped a nearby mop in two, brandishing the handle like a spear.
Qin Tianxuan smiled.
He calmly stood up and straightened his shirt. "I knew you were all useless. No imagination at all. Come on..."
The room suddenly fell silent.
Outside, Ye Mingzhu, Jin Longhai’s graceful mistress, was huddled carefully beneath a broken window, eavesdropping.
She had just betrayed Jin Longhai, so she desperately needed to know the outcome inside.
If that handsome young man won, she still had a chance.
If Jin Longhai won, there would be no escape for her. She would have to go back, get on her knees, and beg Boss Jin for forgiveness.
Ever since Jin Longhai had claimed her, the woman’s former pride had vanished.
She had learned to endure humiliation to protect herself, and she had learned how to grovel.
But deep down, she still harbored an extravagant hope.
The hope that one day she could escape that old bastard Jin Longhai and be free again.
’Sigh, what was I thinking? Why did I just listen to him like that? There’s no way he can beat all those people in there. How... how did I let him mesmerize me?’
The woman was calculating. She was already planning how she would kneel and beg when Jin Longhai inevitably won, using her charms to make sure the old man couldn’t bring himself to hurt her.
’But... why is it so quiet inside?’
Puzzled, Ye Mingzhu looked up, about to peek inside.
Just then, a burst of violent noise erupted.
Cries of alarm, the sounds of fighting, and frantic shouts all blended together, happening in a flash.
The cacophony vanished as quickly as it had begun, and the room fell silent once more.
Ye Mingzhu trembled. She had seen plenty of brawls with Jin Longhai, but none had ever ended this fast.
Suddenly, the door opened with a CREAK.
The handsome young man walked out, completely unscathed and without a speck of dust on his clothes.
Ye Mingzhu stared, dumbfounded.
’Did a fight... not even break out in there?’
’Then why were Jin Longhai and his men so quiet?’
Qin Tianxuan didn’t even spare her a glance as he calmly walked toward the main gate.
Ye Mingzhu scrambled to her feet and limped after him.
As they exited the villa grounds, Qin Tianxuan turned around nonchalantly. "Woman, why are you following me?"
