Chapter 1710: The Banquet in Progress

Zhou Yun’s style today seamlessly blends a gentle and sensual vibe, her smile dazzling and charming.

It’s quite rare for her to walk the red carpet together with Song Chi.

She held Song Chi’s arm, feeling uncommonly relaxed, even a bit excited.

The photographers and everyone present were cheering and shouting their names, the enthusiasm created a wave of heat that also infected Zhou Yun.

Zhou Yun even wanted to share a kiss with Song Chi in front of so many people.

She always thought that celebrity couples kissing on the red carpet were just putting on a show, but at this moment she suddenly felt this impulse too.

Excitement, passion, wanting to share her current feelings with everyone.

Wanting to kiss the beloved person beside her.

Zhou Yun kept waving her hand, while she couldn’t help but frequently turn her head to gaze at Song Chi.

Their eyes were filled with affection for each other.

A sensual electric feeling flowed back and forth between them.

Song Chi suddenly stopped, wrapped his arm around Zhou Yun’s waist, and lowered his head to kiss her mouth in front of everyone.

Zhou Yun was surprised and widened her eyes, then immediately let go of all her shyness and kissed Song Chi back.

The whole venue was stirred by this scene, erupting into even louder screams.

The flashlights kept flickering relentlessly.

The kiss between Zhou Yun and Song Chi lasted about five to six seconds before ending.

Song Chi raised the corner of his mouth and asked Zhou Yun with a smile, “Are you feeling shy now?”

Zhou Yun’s shoulders shrank a bit, she indeed felt a bit embarrassed, and she lightly glared at Song Chi.

“You sneaked an attack.”

Song Chi held Zhou Yun’s hand and said, “I couldn’t help myself.”

The two walked past the red carpet and entered the banquet hall.

The interior of the banquet was arranged very luxuriously.

And their appearance attracted the gazes and discussions of many.

Whether Song Chi or Zhou Yun, they undoubtedly represent a face of China in the film industry.

Now, their rare simultaneous appearance not only excited domestic CP fans, but people following Chinese cinema were also pleased to see these young actors.

Tonight’s banquet, attended by the jury of this Berlin Film Festival’s edition.

This year’s jury president is the renowned British director Alsace Reste.

Upon seeing Zhou Yun and Song Chi, he proactively came over to greet them, saying, “Finally meeting today, I’ve always wanted to know you.”

Zhou Yun and Song Chi weren’t familiar with him personally, but they knew his works very well.

Alsace Reste is a director who focuses on the fate of characters against historical backgrounds, almost all his films revolve around this theme.

His films don’t gross high at the box office, but they are the favourite in awards and reputation.

“I’ve been seeing you often in the news lately,” Alsace Reste said smiling to Zhou Yun, “You’re too famous.”

Zhou Yun displayed a shy smile and said, “Oh, Reste, you don’t have to tease me, I’d rather not appear in the news so much, not be so famous, too many unexpected troubles.”

Alsace Reste replied, “Call me Alsace, I’m really glad to meet you. I watched several of your movies in the UK last year, including the recently released ‘Four Killers’. You’re simply incredible, so young yet able to portray so many different characters, the types and vibes are all different. It shocked me, and I heard you’ve only acted for a few years, without much experience.”

Zhou Yun hadn’t heard someone mention her lack of acting experience for a long time.

She nodded and said, “Yes, indeed I’ve only been acting for a few years.”

Alsace Reste said, “You’re truly a genius, oh, Song Chi, don’t misunderstand, of course, you’re also a genius. I’ve noticed your performances for a long time. You became famous so early, people no longer have that sense of surprise with you.”

Song Chi wrapped his arm around Zhou Yun’s waist and made a very appropriate joke: “Oh, it’s okay, I’ve known I’m outdated for a long time.”

Alsace Reste laughed.

Of course, Song Chi is by no means outdated; he said so to avoid awkwardness.

“You really haven’t appeared much in recent years,” Alsace Reste said, “I used to often see you at various events, but now it’s very rare to see you.”
