"Yes, but who can guarantee they won’t start using after filming? The risk is too high." Song Chi sighs, "The best thing is to finish a film and release it quickly, don’t hang onto it. The longer you hold it, the easier it is for something to go wrong."

Zhou Yun: "Hmm."

They swam in the pool for half an hour before heading out for dinner.

Lew Xi was no longer around.

They ran into Hugh Redman in the elevator.

Hugh Redman saw them and immediately exclaimed, "You two are always sticking together, not hanging out with us anymore."

Song Chi said, "We were planning to have dinner, do you want to join us?"

Hugh Redman eagerly replied, "Sure, I’d love to."

This guy always wants to bring others along, never wanting to be by himself.

The three of them had dinner together, and Hugh Redman was quite the chatterbox, always having something to say.

"Is it awkward for the two of you to film together?" Hugh Redman asked, "Or have you not played a couple on-screen?"

"Of course we have." Zhou Yun replied, "What’s awkward about it?"

Hugh Redman said, "Acting with someone you’re familiar with isn’t awkward? You guys are amazing."

"Hmm?"

"I can’t do it. If I acted with my girlfriend, I’d laugh all the time and wouldn’t get into character." Hugh Redman said, "That’s my problem."

Zhou Yun asked, "Hugh, do you have any plans after finishing ’Killing Song’?"

"Yes, I have another murder mystery film lined up. Once ’Killing Song’ wraps, I’ll head to France to prepare."

"Oh, is this film being shot in France?"

"Yes." Hugh Redman nodded, "We’re starting filming next April. I don’t plan on going back to the United States; I’m heading straight to France for a holiday, then to film."

"Won’t you be with your girlfriend?"

"She’ll be there waiting for me when the time comes." Hugh Redman said.

With curious eyes he asked, "Song, they say you’ve started a film company and are producing movies yourself?"

Song Chi nodded, "That’s right."

Hugh Redman enthusiastically said, "If you have a suitable project, consider me for a role. I’ve always wanted to visit China."

"Hmm? Haven’t you been to China for film promotions?" Zhou Yun asked curiously.

Hugh Redman said, "I’ve been for promotions, but never really lived there. I want to experience living in different countries."

Zhou Yun said, "I once thought about that too, but after becoming an actor, I found it difficult. Like coming to Australia to film, I’m mostly just between the set and the hotel."

"That’s because you don’t like going out." Hugh Redman said, "Whenever I have time, I go out exploring. Although, you probably don’t have as much free time as us, since you’re busy filming every day, unlike us who sometimes have days off."

Zhou Yun asked curiously, "Hugh, are you a fan of the ’Killing Song’ book?"

"Not really, most of the fans are probably women." Hugh Redman said, "My agent suggested I take this role, saying it’d definitely be a hit."

He flashed a bright and indeed handsome smile.

"But it’s been fun filming this movie."

Hugh Redman is usually quite upbeat.

Song Chi suddenly said, "If you’re interested, I’m filming a disaster adventure movie with Sedar this year, and there’s an American character."

Zhou Yun was taken aback.

She remembered that Song Chi’s film didn’t have any American roles.

Hugh Redman was thrilled, "Really? Send me the script then."

Song Chi said, "You’ll have to wait a bit, the script is still being revised. Once it’s ready, I’ll send it to you and your agent."

"Okay." Hugh Redman nodded, "I didn’t know China made disaster adventure films. I’ve never seen one from you guys."

These films were mainstream commercial movies in Hollywood for a long time.

Indeed, other countries made them less frequently, though Korea started to make more at some point.

After dinner with Hugh Redman and returning to the hotel, Zhou Yun asked Song Chi, "I thought your script didn’t have any foreign roles left?"

"Hmm."

"Then why did you say there was to Hugh?" Zhou Yun asked.
