319 Cat Dad VS Possessed Police
Chapter 318 – Cat Dad VS Possessed Police
Xiaomao wasn’t freed after the incident. The detective escorted him to a police station and detained him for further investigations. A dozen officers were mobilized to oversee the case.
He played along with the Korean police. Without hiding his face or acting like a fugitive, Xiaomao followed the police officers with his head held high.
Journalists from all news stations rushed to the police station to question the official about the incident and the existence of a superhuman. Many of them took pictures of Xiaomao when he entered the local police building.
.
= Interrogation Room =
Xiaomao sat at a table in an enclosed room with only a tinted glass window. He smiled and waved his hand at the glass as he sensed many people in the observer room.
No one entered the room to interrogate him yet as the detectives and officers waited for the agents from the higher-ups to take over this case. As the China Government branded Xiaomao as a terrorist, the Korean National Police Agency had enough reason to detain and decide what to do with the international fugitive.
However, complications ensued. Many police officers doubted if the Chinese Government framed Xiaomao because of his superpower or if Xiaomao had a conflict with one of their supreme leaders. After all, many witnesses testified that Xiaomao saved their lives by using his power. He also killed the monster ghosts that appeared out of nowhere.
Unfortunately, many pessimistic officers had another theory. They believed that Xiaomao either provoked or harmed the innocents as nothing wrong had happened before Xiaomao appeared. Moreover, many people hadn’t regained consciousness after the incident, which might have been caused by Xiaomao’s power.
As such, they waited for the commissioner to send their official investigation teams here to handle the complicated case that the mass was interested in.
Jin Ijin sat in the observer room, looking at Xiaomao’s reactions while he drafted a report for his superior officers.
For a brief moment, Jin Ijin’s eyes met with Xiaomao’s. Strangely, the guy grinned and gave him a thumbs up.
‘Can he see me?’
Jin Ijin couldn’t shake away the thought. He had a feeling that Xiaomao could see through the special glass window.
His doubt was clear the next second. Xiaomao laughed at the people in the observer room, “I see you! Hey, detective. Are you going to interrogate me or are you waiting for unknown agents to come to find me? Let me say this. I don’t have much time left. There might be another attack from Solomon Ghosts again. If you don’t want more people to get possessed, you should let me go and let me help you, munya!”
Jin Ijin looked at the station’s chief, who had been standing behind him.
The chief snorted and walked out of the observer room. He entered the interrogation room and sat at the opposite side of the table.
The chief rested his elbows on the table and stared into Xiaomao’s eyes.
“Listen here, you little shit. Your time is up. We will hand you over to China. I don’t care what you did, but it doesn’t change the fact that you’re a terrorist.”
“Nice interrogation technique from a Solomon Ghost, munya.” Xiaomao smirked and turned to the tinted window, “Let me show you what a Solomon Ghost does to humans, munya!”
“YOU!!”
Without letting the chief react, Xiaomao used his Dao Avatar Domain.
True Purification!
Everybody in the police station was stuck inside Xiaomao’s domain. As soon as the 100-meter diameter dome appeared, a dark spirit screamed and was ejected from its possessed body.
The ghost came out from the chief!
The chief officer collapsed to the ground while the dark spirit attempted to flee, flying through the ceiling.
Xiaomao scoffed and wiggled his index finger
BOOM
The fingertip exploded and gushed out blood. The released blood moved like an entwined line of ropes, pursuing the fleeing ghost. It phased through the ceiling and seized the ghost’s ankle. Then, it pulled the ghost back into the room.
Jin Ijin dropped his pen while the other police officers were petrified from shock. Their agape mouths were so wide that they could swallow their fist.
Xiaomao stood up and faced the window. He pointed at the ghost, “Let me introduce you to your TRUE enemies, the Solomon Ghosts, munya. You see, these ghosts devour human souls and possess their victim’s physical bodies. Then, they live in our world, disguising and blending with everybody here, munya. Their objective is simple – They want to conquer the earth and remove all humans, munya!”
Jin Ijin and two other officers covered their mouths. They thought about the weird reactions and the conspiracies between every nation’s politicians.
How else the world government stayed quiet after multiple cases of supernatural anomalies, missing people, and countless sightings of superhumans?
If what Xiaomao said was true, the top brass of many nations might have been replaced!
Jin Ijin wanted to believe in this theory as many puzzle pieces fit in. However, he couldn’t invest in someone’s testimony without solid evidence and the stories from both sides. He activated a microphone on the console in front of him, asking the question.
“Who and what are Solomon Ghosts?”
Xiaomao pointed at the dark spirit in the shape of a human that he had captured, “Him and other entities like him, munya.”
Jin Ijin looked at the dark spirit. Although he was an atheist, he had no choice but to believe in what he was seeing.
“What are you, ghost? Can you speak? Why are you in our chief’s body.”
The dark ghost glared at Jin Ijin. He bellowed, “HELP ME AT ONCE, JIN IJIN! Miao Xiaomao is tricking all of you! This is his superpower! He can turn human souls into ghosts!”
Xiaomao raised his brows, looking at the ghost next to him. It was a nice attempt to mislead Jin Ijin and caused doubts.
“I’m surprised, munya. I thought all ghosts are stupid.”
The chief’s ghost sneered, “I know what you’re thinking, Miao Xiaomao! You can’t trick me and my colleagues! Let me go at once, or I’ll add more charges to your crime!”
“You and what authority, munya? The president, the commissioner, or the Blue House?”
“You’re a fool, Miao Xiaomao! Do you think you can get help from the Blue House?!”
“Why not, munya?”
“HAHAHAHA! Do you think you have any backers? Do you think we neglect this country? Of course not! All leaders in this country have already joined our side! You, your father, and Mu-Nyang can’t do shit on this planet! This world is already in the hands of Lord Solomon!”
Xiaomao deeply sighed in disappointment as he had expected a tough debate, but the ghost was stupid enough to slip up. Xiaomao turned to the window.
“There you have it, boys. Did you record that, munya?”
Behind the window, Jin Ijin’s hand was trembling in astonishment and shock. His voice cracked.
“Y-Yes, we got everything.”
“Nice!” Xiaomao turned to the ghost and smiled, “Thank you for your stupidity, munya. You saved me a lot of time, but you greatly disappointed me. I thought I had to debate with you for hours before I can make you confess.”
“You what?!” The ghost froze for a moment. Then, he realized his mistake.
It was too late for the ghost to take his words back. Xiaomao punched the ghost in the face and disintegrated him into dust.
