301 Cat Dad’s Minions in Yeet City
Chapter 301 – Cat Dad’s Minions in Yeet City
= Yeet City =
Pink gas of the skin-stealing girls paralyzed 10% of the province-sized city. Abnormal statuses trapped players and weak NPCs, not allowing them to move.
“GEH!”
The annoying girls insulted them as they deskinned everybody they touched. All their equipment was stripped, and they got eaten alive.
Fortunately, the massacre slowed down as the girls couldn’t eat more than five adult men in a day. They collected the skins and quietly left, retreating toward the north.
As the skin thieves ran away, the pink fog followed them and gave players time to recover. When the players were no longer in the fog, their abnormal status effects were removed.
Dog Eater, Cherry Popper, and Alzheimer survived the ordeal despite the chaos. They ran away from the northern part of the city, heading toward the church to report the clergies in the monastery.
But as they were running, they stumbled upon another chaos in the middle of the city. In front of the monastery, a fight broke out between two factions of NPCs.
On one side, Yuan Shaoqing, Yan Liang, Wen Chou, and many immortals of the Yuan Empire killed the priests of the Pangu Church, paving the street with blood.
In front of the monastery, an elderly chubby man with narrow eyes in a bishop uniform stood in front of his knights, confronting the ex-emperor. Despite being at disadvantage, the bishop didn’t look intimidated in front of many strong immortals.
“Your time is over, emperor Yuan. If I were you, I would have retired somewhere quiet and let the church and the gods do their things. Why struggling so much for your fallen country?”
Yuan Shaoqing pointed at the bishop and yelled, “That’s because of your freaking pet! Had you taken care of the sealed calamity fiend properly, Siren City and 50,000 people wouldn’t have perished!”
“It’s your fault for neglecting security! If you did your job properly, you would have arrested that regressor and maintained that city! Besides, you were the one who broke the oath and betrayed Lord Pangu! You deserve it!”
The bickering got them nowhere. Yuan Shaoqing lost his patience as he needed the treasure inside his former palace, which was now a monastery. He unsheathed his sword and pointed at the bishop’s face.
“Hear me. The church is the source of all evil! The monsters that attacked the city earlier came here because the church provoked them first! Without their stupid obsession with a player, none of this would have happened!”
The survivors of the onslaught dryly laughed as Yuan Shaoqing also took part in the raid. They didn’t believe in him at all.
However, the local NPCs didn’t have the internet. They gasped in shock and glared at the church’s cultists and priests with hatred.
While the quarrel was raging, the city’s siren got louder. City halls and sentry guards yelled and pointed toward the north.
“Monsters are coming from the north! TO ARMS!”
The people around the monastery looked north. In the sky, a dark cloud was approaching the city. However, the immortals and scout class players with better vision could see scarlet war maidens in the sky, flying toward the city at a frightening speed.
Yuan Shaoqing and the bishop deeply frowned and looked at each other. The bishop tried to persuade the ex-emperor, “This is not the time to fight among ourselves. Let us repel our enemies first, and we can talk, okay?”
The ex-emperor had another idea, “How about no?”
SWUA
Without a warning, Yuan Shaoqing beheaded the chubby bishop and ordered his troops, “Kill them all! Grab our belongings in the treasure pavilion and we’ll leave this place!”
Yan Liang and Wen Chou nodded and roared. They charged into the monastery, indiscriminately killing every NPC and player inside. As for Yuan Shaoqing, he turned around and attacked the spectators. He swung his sword horizontally, creating a sword wave and slicing a thousand players in the area in one swing!
Cherry Popper and Alzheimer got caught in the crossfire. Their torso was cut in half, and they died without realizing what hit them.
Dog Eater was lucky. As he was a scout, he always traveled by running on fences or rooftops. When Yuan Shaoqing unleashed his wrath, he was out of the emperor’s range.
Seeing that his friends and many players died, Dog Eater’s expression turned ugly. He leaped away from the house’s rooftop, fleeing the central plaza of the city and heading further south.
Because of the infighting, the cultists and priests on the northern border walls deserted their ranks and fled in every direction in panic. Without the first line of defense, the war maidens bypassed the checkpoint without a casualty.
In five minutes, the flying war maidens arrived at the main gate of the second city wall, which separated the outskirt area and the outer city area.
On the walls, only a dozen knights and priests were present. When the army of 5,000 flying ant girls arrived, they dropped their weapons in fear and abandoned their posts.
The local NPCs in the city saw the running knights and priests, and they panicked. Weak housewives shut the doors and windows, barricading themselves in-door and praying for the disaster to pass. Merchants and vendors packed their stuff and fled south while men and strong teenagers picked up arms and escorted their families away from the area.
Panicking screams and chaotic shouts turned into a symphony of despair, which demoralized the players and the local NPCs.
RUMBLE
The war maidens swooped down and landed in the northern area of Yeet City, where skin thieves had raided earlier. As the place was devastated, no knight or Pangu’s servants intercepted them, allowing the war maidens to secure their landing point.
SCREECH!
The weak war maidens began blasting open houses and searching for potential threats. Scarlet War Maidens, who had a higher level, gathered their colleagues and formed ranks, securing strategic streets and choke points. As for the elites, they maintained their flight altitude, watching over their subordinates and scouting the city.
Their antennae moved in unison. Although they didn’t speak, they communicated through telepathy, using their antennae as if they were Wi-Fi routers.
The war maidens might not be able to share their five senses like how Party Girls could do, but they coordinated like a professional army – None of them moved alone, and every team acted according to their superior’s orders.
The raiding ant girls captured helpless NPCs in the houses and gathered them toward the northern city gate. Some lifeskill players got caught and were brought together with the NPCs.
Among the captives, Master Yeet, who was wearing a cosmetic uniform of a farmer, got mistaken as a craftsman. He was captured along with the other vendor NPCs while shopping and resupplying. Once again, he got stuck in this mess.
Despite the dire situation, Master Yeet chuckled. He brought out a joint and casually lit it with a lighter.
“I’m in danger.”
While smoking the joint, he ogled one of the scarlet war maidens, who were in their birthday suits.
“Damn. That’s a nice body.”
