"He does, but he is too lazy to use it on someone as weak as you," Petra replied before I could say anything, doing her best to provoke Aqualas, who was already enraged beyond reason.

Meanwhile, I kept an eye on Seraphina and the Viltronian. Both of them had deliberately positioned themselves behind Aqualas, using her as a shield while keeping as much distance from me as possible. Seraphina’s caution was understandable.

The Viltronian, however, was a different story.

Viltronians were supposed to seek out powerful opponents, not hide behind others and avoid confrontation. Yet he remained where he was, his muscles tense and his eyes constantly tracking my every movement. There wasn’t a trace of recklessness in him. He was far more cautious than any Viltronian I had met before.

Then again, perhaps that was exactly why he had survived long enough to become a noble-class existence. Luck might have helped him along the way, but caution had undoubtedly played a role as well.

"Petra, I wasn’t talking to you. Stay out of this," Aqualas snapped.

The oceanic pressure radiating from her body intensified for a brief moment before settling down. If not for my presence, she would have already dragged Petra into her Celestial Rule Domain and drowned her without hesitation.

From what I had gathered, Supreme Beings capable of wielding Celestial Force were already exceedingly rare. Most never bothered with it no matter how powerful they became. As for those who could actually manifest a Celestial Rule Domain, they were unheard of.

I suppose one didn’t become one of the strongest Supreme Beings in existence without achieving that much, especially when considering the competition. There were Supreme Beings of Time, Space, Matter, Energy, and countless other concepts. Their numbers were seemingly endless, each wielding powers capable of reshaping reality itself.

Among such monsters, the elemental Supreme Beings were often looked down upon as simplistic or inferior paths. Yet Aqualas and Petra had risen high enough to stand shoulder to shoulder with them. That was no small feat. It spoke not only of overwhelming power, but also of intelligence, determination, and the ability to survive in a world where even the most powerful could become prey.

"But I was talking to you, stupid. Just shut up and leave," Petra shot back, sounding as though her sole purpose in life was to irritate Aqualas. A subtle ripple could be seen on Aqualas’s forehead, as if a pulsing vine.

"Aqualas, let’s just leave. This isn’t worth it," Seraphina pleaded with her whimsical friend with a few screws loose, stepping forward cautiously. Unlike Petra, she had no desire to fight further. Her plan was never to fight head on. It was already down the drain, no point bringing it up.

By the time she and Veerott reached the Southern Hope’s base, they were already too late.

Like everyone else in the city, they had sensed Aqualas battling the Stone Supreme beneath the ground. The clash of two Supreme Beings had shaken the city to its core, yet there was nothing they could do except watch and hope for the best.

However, they only learned what true helplessness felt like when they were suddenly caught and thrown out of the Southern Hope’s Double Celestial Rule Domain along with the rest of the city after he repaired the city’s foundation.

Fearing their cover had already been blown, they immediately abandoned their disguises and retreated into the storm clouds. There, far enough away to avoid detection yet close enough to keep an eye on their friend, they watched everything unfold from above. The moment the domain collapsed into the void, they rushed, determined to find Aqualas and rescue her before she suffered too much.

They succeeded. Unfortunately, rescuing Aqualas only created a new problem.

The moment she was freed, all the humiliation, fear, and rage she had been suppressing erupted at once. She refused to listen to reason. Refused to calm down. Before either of them could stop her, she turned around and charged straight back toward the city with only one goal in mind: destroy it.

Stopping Aqualas was easier said than done. She wasn’t merely controlling an ocean. She was the ocean. Trying to restrain her was like trying to hold water in your hands, except on a scale large enough to drown continents. Every wave, every current, every droplet answered her call.

Yet they had no choice but to try. Because they both knew that if Aqualas destroyed the city in her rage, she would be making the worst mistake of her life.

The Southern Hope had already shown that he was far more dangerous than anyone had anticipated. If millions died because of her actions, he would never let it go. He would hunt her down and turn the rest of her existence into a living nightmare. For Aqualas, the battle would not end with the city’s destruction. It would only begin.

"Seraphina, this is no longer just about you. Today, the world will be reminded of what happens when they stand against the Ocean Supreme, Aqualas... Celestial Rule Domain: Ocean World!"

Pretending to be blinded by rage, Aqualas unleashed her Celestial Rule Domain in an attempt to catch me off guard. It was a reasonable plan. Most people would assume an enraged opponent had stopped thinking rationally.

Unfortunately for her, I wasn’t most people. To Aqualas’s surprise, her Celestial Rule Domain never manifested.

The moment she activated it, the red storm clouds overhead and the blue sky beyond them suddenly turned gray. It was as though the world itself had been drained of color. Streaks of crimson and azure peeled away from reality like layers of old paint, revealing a bleak, colorless landscape beneath.

"One Thousand Curse Fields."

My calm voice echoed through the gray world. At once, the hidden field that rejected Aqualas’s celestial rule domain, Ocean World, revealed itself. The unlikely trio were trapped the moment Aqualas came to a halt.
