Chapter 96: Chapter 95: Tomorrow

Late at night in Bellwa city, within a towering skyscraper, Raizan Mizukai sat in his well adorned office, wearing a red suit and staring at the numerous holographic screens that potrayed the images of Caesar and the increasing ratings.

Raizan slowly twirled his pen round his fingers and spoke.

"It seems to be doing better than I expected.

"Absolutely, sir." A feminine robot voice replied, "The triple threat match between Caesar Moon, Cassius Gold and Eren is the most paid for match tomorrow, and it is not even the main event."

"That’s the second time this has happened." Raizan said, "The second time the eyes she has drawn surpasses the main event of the show itself."

"Yes, sir. The first time was against Damien Bane in the pay per view of House of Legends, now it is this match." The ai replied, "As it seems, Caesar is becoming more and more of a superstar and if this keeps up, she could become a megastar."

"Yes, yes, she could. All that is left for her is either win this match or at least fight well." Raizan said.

"Though the Caesar’s triple threat match is the most anticipated, she is not the one the audience voted in belief of winning." The ai informed, "She is the second highest the audience has betted on in this upcoming match."

"Yes, I see that. The one who they voted the most is Eren Brock." Raizan replied, "The bulldozer."

"Yes, sir. The bulldozer Eren has an overwhelming seventy percent vote of victory, Caesar has a twenty five percent vote and Cassius has a five percent." The ai said.

"And it’s not hard to see why." Raizan said.

"No, sir, it’s not." The ai responded, "The bulldozer Eren Brock is one of EBW’s most dominant and vicious performers in the ring.

He is more likely to steamroll the other two competitors and walk out victorious."

"The fight in the supermarket was among the main things that contributed to the vote." The ai continued as Raizan slightly tilted his head to the left.

"Indeed, it was." Raizan said, "Eren has shown himself to be a powerful opponent on numerous occasions; that incident in the supermarket was just one of them.

Even the people that are currently picking interest in ero-wrestling because of Caesar, understand the might of that man.

If anything, I’m surprised he didn’t have a vote of ninety."

"Sir, are you not bothered?" The ai asked.

"No." Raizan answered as he leaned back against his chair, "Not in the very least.

It is expected for Caesar to lose, but how she performs is what matters more.

And one thing is certain: despite how powerful the ’bulldozer’ is, in the current state of Ms Moon..."

"She won’t go down easily." Raizan continued as he slightly tilted his head while his right iris glowed under the shade, "Inform the workers to make ready the ’preparations’."

"It’s time to move to the next stage of the plan." Raizan said as he stood from the chair.

Meanwhile, within the holds of Caesar’s home, Caesar had prepared everything she’d use for her travels to Manuwuge city.

However as she stood close to the mirror and stared at her reflection, she took notice of the growth of her hair, how her choppy hair had grown a bit longer with the black tips of her hair now resting on her shoulders.

But what really caught her attention wasn’t the increase in the length of her hair but instead the change of the color of her irises.

Her irises that were once amber had now become grey in color.

Caesar drew her face closer to the mirror and slowly moved her hand towards her right eye.

While staring at her own reflection, Caesar had a swift recollection of her time earlier in the hospital as she was about to step out of the door.

"Oh, right, before you go, Ms Moon, remember: Because of the intensity of your second experience with the ferrosyx, the treatment might leave one or two side effects... Permanent perhaps."

After the remembrance, Caesar closed her eyes and exhaled.

"Great."

As Caesar stared at her reflection again, the faces of her younger brothers smiling surfaced in her head which was quickly replaced with the scene of them laying unconscious in the hospital bed.

Remembering that, Caesar’s breathing slowly increased.

The face of Ruz then resurfaced in her mind which led her to scowl and tighten her fists.

Suddenly, Raizan’s voice replayed in her head.

"I did tell you to have a clear mind for your match tomorrow. However if you are still unable to do that, and you are still be upset about what happened, then take all that anger and pour them into your fists."

After remembering what Raizan told her in the hospital, Caesar closed her eyes again and spoke softly to herself.

"Tomorrow. Tomorrow... Eren Brock... Cassius Gold... Tomorrow."

Caesar took a deep breath while her body slowly trembled.

Caesar finally exhaled and stared at her reflection one more time in the mirror, filling the environment with nothing but silence.

However , the moment was suddenly broken by the sound of someone knocking on her door.

Caesar turned to the direction of the sound and walked towards her door to see who was knocking.

As soon as she opened it, she saw two Mizukai men standing in front.

The men froze for a time as they took notice of Caesar’s new eye color.

After the short stare, the man on the right cleared his throat.

"Miss Moon, it is time for you to travel to Manuwuge city." The man on the right spoke.

"I believe you have gotten everything ready?" The man on the left asked.

Caesar stared at the men for a moment and nodded her head in confirmation.

"Good. Let’s get going." The man on the left said.

Elsewhere, Cassius who was wearing a red office top, a gold colored wristwatch, black trousers and black shoes, stood at the airport with his luggage in his right hand while speaking on the phone with his other hand.

"So you did it, huh?" A feminine voice asked through the phone.

"Yes. The mission was successful." Cassius answered with a smile, "My boys got to use the spray on Eren... Softening that bastard for the match tomorrow.

Yes, only one made it uninjured but they signed up for. They took the money after all, so they have no right to complain."

"This better work, Cassisus." The female voice said, "I told you before that this is your chance to redeem yourself."

"Redemption ... Yes, but what I want goes beyond redemption and it is to hurt that fucker." Cassius replied.

"And what about Caesar?" The female asked.

"What about her?" Cassius asked.

"Cassius..." The female voice said softly with a tone mixed with a little irritation.

"She’s not my main priority right now. Besides she’s light work." Cassius said.

"Arrogance is what made Damien lose to her. Did you see how she was moving in the ring against him? Even with how she fought in the supermarket, I could tell she is no light work." The female said, "Are you going to make the same mistake the poisonous son made?

You have a five percent vote of winning the triple threat. That’s right, the fans believe you are the least person to walk out of that match as the winner."

"And let me guess, the one they voted for the most was Eren Brock?" Cassius asked with an arched brow.

"Obviously." The female answered, "Eren had a seventy five percent vote. Caesar had a twenty and you, a five.

That’s the more reason why you should not lose this match. The more reason you cannot afford to look down on the Mizukai pet."

"First of all, do I look like Damien Bane?" Cassius asked, "Am I so foolish and petty like him that I would throw away my one chance of winning just to deliver a proper finisher to send a message?"

"As for the people, they can believe what they want... It doesn’t matter what they voted..." Cassius continued as he was shrouded with a faint gold aura.

"Because in the end, the one who will walk out as winner won’t be him." Cassius said as his irises glowed.

"You better make sure of it." The female said.

The woman immediately cut the call, leaving Cassius to halt for a minute to stare at his screen.

"Hmph." Cassius said with a smile.

Cassius placed his phone back into his pockets and resumed walking.

"Oh, Eren... You big bastard. You think you can get away with this? Get away with humiliating me?" Cassius said in his mind while smiling, "No, that’s not how this works. Not at all.

Tomorrow... This coming Thursday, I’m going to teach you a lesson. One you will never forget.

And when I’m done, you’ll remember who I am. You’ll remember the gambit king. You’ll remember the name...."

"Cassius Gold." Cassius continued in his heart with a grin while his irises glowed.
