Chapter 76: Chapter 75: Warm welcome

The incident between Eren, Caesar and Cassius went wild on the internet.

Across several social media sites, the videos were flooded with views and comments of the brawl that happened in the supermarket. Each carrying an opinion that differed from the other.

"Damn, Caesar got her ass kicked"

"Yo, this match on Thursday is gonna be lit"

"One question... How tf does she hope to beat Eren?"

"Caesar lost to Eren? Figures. The Mizukai pet is only good at fighting when people hold back or when she fights untrained people like those thugs"

"Man, Eren dropped Caesar"

"Even though Caesar lost, she still won in my heart"

"I’m glad Eren humbled that fraud who by the way has been talking big shit because she beat Damien"

"Caesar just learnt what it’s like to face an opponent that doesn’t throw because of ego like Damien"

"People that are calling her a fraud, are you aware that that person was Eren Brock? Like Eren-Fucking-Brock?"

"People are busy talking about Caesar but let’s talk about Cassius Gold. That clown talked mad shit and got dropped worse than Caesar. At least she put up a fight... The same can’t be said about Cassius"

"That fight was insane"

"If this was the fight then I can’t wait for the match"

"Man, I wish this match was a triple threat. That way we’d see Caesar, Cassius and Eren go at it again"

"Ironically, this could have been all avoided if Cassius had just shut the fuck up"

Later in the night as Caesar was walking towards her house, her hand subtly reached for her belly, leading her to recall earlier when she was talking with the doctor in her hospital bed.

"We’ve already treated your injuries, so you may be able to continue your day to day activities tomorrow as long you don’t get into any fight." The doctor said, "Plus the strap we placed round your belly will help soothe the pain. Though not entirely but compared to what you’d be going through, it’s absolutely better than nothing."

Caesar reached her door post but instead of opening the door, she turned her back on it and slowly sat on the ground, leading her to wince in pain.

"Damn."

Caesar raised her top and saw the black strap with neon lights on her belly which made her grumpily stare at it.

Caesar then leaned her back against the door and sighed.

"What the hell." Caesar said to herself, "Ended up spending more money at the hospital than I even budgeted for Rai and Eyo’s return. Fuck.

Seems I might have to cut a few places I wanted to take them to, all thanks to Cassius, Eren and the hospital bills."

"Still, though, that Eren guy, he’s quite strong." Caesar continued as she raised her head up to gaze at the stars, "Nah, calling him strong would be an understatement, he is a monster. A part of me genuinely wanted to run from him.

His swings are so powerful and vicious. So much rage in those limbs, and I ended up getting my ass kicked... Which is nothing new but damn. All of this could have been avoided if ... What’s his name again? Whatever , had just shut up... Though I brought the beating on myself, after all I did swing first."

Caesar winced again in pain, leading her to softly clutch her belly with one hand.

"Damn. Even with this tool soothing it, the aftereffect of that bastard is still strong." Caesar continued, "I wonder how bad it would have been without this strap.

Doctors said he broke a good number of my ribs with that move."

"Still..." Caesar said within as she narrowed her eyes, "That gambit guy or whatever his name is, said he was my original opponent and he was replaced by Eren.

He believed it was the Mizukais that convinced the people booking to change it. The question is... Which Mizukai? Was it Raizan? Rin? Gendo? Toma or..."

Caesar then sighed and bowed her head.

"Of course... Her. It’s gotta be." Caesar said in her heart, "As cold, cruel or sadistic the other four may be, they wouldn’t have the time to do this.

It seems Akari has upped her game and she’s no longer just trying to break or humiliate me, she’s trying to send me to a morgue... Which she almost did once with Nero but now with this Eren guy, she might actually succeed.

That bastard might genuinely kill me in the ring."

Caesar brought out her phone and stared at the screen which led her to furrow her brows.

"They’ve still not come." Caesar said, "Rai and Eyo were supposed to come in the evening, but now it is eight-thirty pm and nothing.

Could it be traffic?"

Caesar’s ears twitched, leading her to turn to the direction of the sound.

As soon as she did that, a white van drove in front of her, and two fair skinned male humans, one with a black hair and the other with a yellow hair, both wearing a red shirt and red cap, stepped out of the van.

The blonde human walked towards Caesar while carrying a clipboard and spoke.

"Sorry, are you Caesar Moon?"

"Yes?" Caesar answered.

"Here is your delivery." The man said, "Your ’Neonspark50laptop’ that you ordered on discount."

"Just sign." The man continued as he handed the clipboard to Caesar.

Caesar took the clipboard and signed before giving it back to the man.

The blonde man then gave his partner a nod and the partner stepped out of the bus and walked to the rear of the van.

During that time, the blonde man stared awkwardly at Caesar for a time.

He turned his sights to where his partner was before returning them back to Caesar.

"I know this might seem unprofessional of me but... I am a huge fan of you!" The man said with a smile.

"Huh?" Caesar said with a raised brow.

"I mean... The things you do, how you carry yourself even when being hated by everyone. It’s crazy!" The man said, "Just wanted to use this chance to say that I am a fan of you and when your merchandises starts coming out, I will be among the first to buy them!"

Caesar stared at the man for a time while maintaining the arched brow and replied.

"Sure, whatever."

The man then began to scratch the back of his head while looking away.

"I have question to ask." The man said.

"What is it?" Caesar asked.

"That guy... Eren Brock... How are you gonna beat him? He seems like a different breed and is incredibly scary." The man said.

"Dunno." Caesar answered nonchalantly.

"Well, you don’t have to worry. Next time you encounter him, I’ll fight him off for you!" The man said with a huge smile as he stuck his chest out.

"Please ’don’t’ do that." Caesar replied with a blank stare.

The man with the black hair came towards the two carrying a carton box.

"Here is your laptop. The neon spark 50." The man with the black hair said to Caesar, "Where do you want me to put it?"

"Hold on a sec." Caesar said.

Caesar softly grunted as she stood on her feet.

She then turned her back, opened the door and followed the man in.

While she was inside with the man, the blonde man who was so excited that he just spoke to Caesar, closed his eyes in happiness.

"Yes!" The man said in his mind.

The black haired man and Caesar stepped out of the house and the blonde man slightly bowed.

"Alright! Thank you for your time." The man said to Caesar, "Next time you want to order something, remember our company..."

"And please don’t forget to give us our ratings. Five stars would do." The man whispered with a grin as he shrugged his shoulders.

His partner and Caesar stared at him with a blank expression and the partner turned his back to walk into the van.

"Let’s go." The partner said.

"Okay." The blonde man said.

As the blonde man headed towards the van, he then looked over his shoulder.

"I’ll be watching the match." The man whispered to Caesar.

Caesar rolled her eyes and exhaled.

The man then entered the van and drove off.

Shortly after he left, Caesar slowly sat back outside the door and exhaled.

She brought out her phone and stared at the screen which showed the time of nine-twenty-one.

However, Caesar stopped staring at the time and began to look more at her home screen picture of herself, Rai and Eyo licking ice cream together which made Caesar smile warmly.

"I better get inside." Caesar said to herself.

Caesar grunted in pain again as she stood on her feet. However right before she could open the door to enter the house, her ears twitched again, leading her to lookover her shoulders.

Caesar saw a bus approaching her house and as soon as it stopped, the male bus driver then spoke out with a booming voice.

"Rai and Eyo! We’re here!!"

Hearing those names, Caesar’s eyes widened in happiness and her mouth slightly hung open.

Rai and Eyo stepped out of the bus and as soon as they saw Caesar, their face brightened.

"Caesar!!!" Eyo said as him and Rai ran towards Caesar.

Caesar immediately squatted and embraced them both.

During the moment, Caesar warm smile grew wider and she spoke.

"Welcome home, you two."
