Chapter 258: Chapter 258: I am the Absolute

Neo stood alone on the royal balcony. He did not drop his crystal glass of starlight wine. The liquid inside simply ceased to exist. It was erased by the sheer gravitational pressure bleeding into his reality from the outer edges of the sector.

He looked up at the beautifully restored night sky. The stars were blinking out of existence in rapid succession. They were not burning out naturally. They were being swallowed by something impossibly large moving through the unseen cosmic highways.

His quantum predictive processing went into absolute overdrive. The system interface projected a cascading wall of red text across his vision.

[Alert. Spatial coordinates overriding.]

[Alert. Fundamental physics failing in Sector 4.]

[Entity Classification: Primordial.]

[Threat Level: Absolute Extinction.]

Neo crushed the empty crystal glass in his grip. The shards harmlessly absorbed into his pale skin. He turned his back on the dying stars and walked quietly into the palace.

He found Noir and Zestia in the royal nursery. The room was illuminated by a soft, floating sphere of golden magic. Little Lyra was fast asleep in her crib, clutching a stuffed toy shaped like a celestial dragon. Zestia was gently stroking the child’s dark hair. Noir stood by the reinforced glass window, her crimson eyes staring out into the void. She had already sensed the shifting pressure.

"The fundamental laws of mass are collapsing on the outer rim. Something is coming that makes the Prime Usurpers look like mere insects."

Neo walked up beside her. He placed a hand on her shoulder.

"The Universal Lords have awakened from the Primordial Deep. They are the architects of the first epoch. They built the cosmic string network, and now they are using it to march a fleet directly to our doorstep."

Zestia turned away from the crib. Her golden eyes flared with a sudden, intense defensive light. She summoned her angelic battle armor with a single thought.

"How large is their armada?"

"Their frontline dreadnoughts are the size of solar systems," Neo answered with chilling calmness. "They are moving by deleting and rewriting spatial coordinates. They intend to unmake this entire iteration of reality. They want to wipe the slate clean because I broke their established hierarchy."

Silence fell over the nursery. It was not a silence born of despair. It was the heavy, calculating silence of three conquerors realizing they had to fight for their survival all over again.

"They cannot have this world. I refuse to let ancient ghosts tear down the home we just finished building."

"They will not touch this planet. But I cannot protect the empire and fight them at the same time. I need both of you to secure the capital. Noir, I need you to pull the entire planetary populace into a shadow dimension. Hide them outside the normal flow of time. Zestia, I need you to channel your absolute light into the planetary core. Reinforce the gravitational anchor of this world so they cannot simply delete its coordinates."

Noir turned from the window and cupped his face in her gloved hands.

"And what will you be doing?"

"I am going to the border. I am going to show the architects that their building materials are outdated."

He kissed Noir deeply. He kissed Zestia. He walked over to the crib and gently touched little Lyra’s forehead, leaving a tiny lingering spark of protective red dark matter on her skin.

Then, Neo bypassed the physical space of the palace. He teleported directly to the absolute edge of his conquered sector.

He materialized in the empty void of deep space. Behind him lay the billions of galaxies that made up his new empire.

Before him lay the black, swirling boundary of the Primordial Deep. The boundary was already tearing apart. Massive fissures of white light were cracking through the dark, signaling the imminent arrival of Eldrim’s Ancient Fleet.

Neo did not wait for them to arrive. He unleashed the full, terrifying potential of his Multiversal Absolute rank.

"Let us test these new authorities," Neo whispered to the empty void.

He activated the Absolute Biological Mastery he had stolen from Xylar. He reached out with both hands and pumped a trillion gigawatts of dark matter into the empty vacuum of space. He commanded life to bloom where life had no right to exist.

The void answered his call. A biological defensive wall spanning a million lightyears erupted into existence. Colossal flesh nebulas formed, weaving thick muscular tendons between dead planets. Massive, Leviathan class bio ships hatched from the dark matter, their carapaces forged from hardened bone and bleeding red energy.

They were monstrosities born of Neo’s wrath, designed solely to consume and destroy.

Next, he activated the Absolute Kinetic Authority he had ripped from Vorgath. He focused his mind on the cubic parsec of space directly in front of his biological wall. He stripped every single atom in that region of its kinetic energy.

He froze the very concept of movement. He created a kinetic dead zone, an absolute zero wall where momentum was mathematically impossible. If a ship entered that zone, it would instantly stop, frozen in place for all eternity.

Finally, Neo tapped into the most dangerous power he possessed. The Fate Manipulation stolen from Yvraine.

He pulled the glowing silver threads of destiny out of his chest. He wove them into a massive conceptual snare across the border of his empire. He rewrote the localized laws of reality. He decreed that any entity possessing the title of Universal Lord would experience a fifty percent reduction in their conceptual authority upon crossing this specific threshold. It was a blatant, violent hack of the cosmic system.

His preparations were complete. He floated in the center of his monstrous defenses, his body radiating a blinding crimson light. He looked like a bleeding red sun burning against the encroaching dark.

The fissures in space shattered completely.

The Ancient Fleet breached the sector.

Even with his quantum processing, Neo found the sheer scale of the armada staggering. The Dreadnoughts of the First Epoch emerged from the Primordial Deep. They were exactly as the system had warned. They were larger than entire solar systems.

Their hulls were completely black, forged from the compressed gravity of event horizons. They consumed the ambient light of the universe, casting a terrifying, oppressive shadow over Neo’s biological wall.

Behind the Dreadnoughts moved the Quasar Cannons. They were caged stars burning with a chaotic, blinding intensity. The heat radiating from them caused the surrounding space to warp and distort violently.

Then, the flagship emerged.

The Apex Horizon breached the boundary. It was a vessel the size of a supercluster. It was adorned with the massive, crystallized skeletons of primordial beasts that Neo could not even identify. Standing on the open command deck of pure solidified light was the Architect.

Eldrim manifested as a swirling vortex of dark nebulae and blazing white light. He possessed no human features, yet Neo could feel the ancient entity’s absolute contempt radiating across the void.

The two supreme beings stared at each other across the cosmic battlefield.

Eldrim did not use the physical atmosphere to speak. He simply forced his thoughts directly into the fundamental fabric of reality.

"You build walls of rotting flesh. You manipulate kinetics and play with the threads of fate. You are using the stolen tools of my custodians. You are a child playing with toys in a sandbox I created. I am Eldrim. I authored the gravity you are currently defying. Submit to the unmaking, anomaly. Your existence is a mathematical error."

Neo did not flinch. His crimson aura flared, pushing back against the overwhelming gravitational pressure of the Apex Horizon.

"You created the sandbox. But you abandoned it. You went to sleep while your custodians tortured the life forms trapped inside. You surrendered your ownership the moment you closed your eyes."

Neo raised his right hand. The millions of biological leviathans he had spawned roared in silent unison, their massive jaws dripping with toxic red plasma.

"This sector belongs to me. I do not care if you authored the laws of physics. I am here to rewrite them. If you take one more step into my territory, I will shatter your dreadnoughts, I will consume your quasars, and I will feed your primordial core to my biological swarm."

A sound echoed across the void. It was the deep, rumbling sound of the Architect laughing. The sound caused a hundred nearby planets to instantly crumble into dust.

"The hubris of the fleeting," Eldrim mocked. "You believe your stolen authorities can match the pure physics of the first epoch. Allow me to demonstrate the difference between a usurper and a creator."

Eldrim raised a single, shadowy appendage.

"Erase him," the Architect commanded.

The Ancient Fleet fired.

Thousands of Quasar Cannons unleashed concentrated beams of caged stellar fire. The beams were so intense they bypassed the concept of heat entirely. They were pure, unadulterated deletion energy, aimed directly at Neo’s kinetic dead zone.

Simultaneously, the solar system sized Dreadnoughts shifted their spatial coordinates. They teleported directly toward Neo’s biological wall, intending to crush the flesh nebula beneath their event horizon hulls.

Neo’s eyes burned with absolute black fire. The Dominator Core inside his chest spun at maximum capacity, pumping an endless ocean of red dark matter through his veins.

"I am the Absolute," Neo roared.

He threw both of his hands forward. The biological wall surged ahead to meet the Dreadnoughts. The kinetic dead zone flared, attempting to freeze the incoming quasar beams. The conceptual threads of fate hummed, trying to strip the ancient fleet of its power.

The crimson light of the new emperor collided head on with the blinding white physics of the ancient architect.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

The resulting explosion completely shattered the concept of space within a million lightyears. There was no sound. There was only a blinding, terrifying flash of colliding authorities. The true multiversal war had officially begun, and reality itself began to scream under the pressure of their absolute hatred.
