The pitch black warning flashing in his mind slowly faded into the background. Neo closed the system interface with a single thought.

He stood in the exact center of his ruined throne room. The gray ash of the destroyed ceiling was still settling around his boots. The silence in the palace was heavy and suffocating.

He took a deep breath and let the terrifying crimson aura recede deep into his core. The Multiversal Absolute powered down. For the first time in hours, he was just Neo again.

Soft footsteps echoed against the cracked marble floor.

Noir stepped out from the deep shadows of a collapsed stone pillar. Her raven black hair flowed like liquid night over her pale shoulders. Her elegant obsidian dress was torn at the hem. It was a physical testament to the chaotic orbital bombardment they had just survived together. Her porcelain skin contrasted sharply with the surrounding gray destruction. She did not run to him. She walked with the silent and lethal grace of a predatory cat. Her crimson eyes remained locked entirely onto his face.

"Hubby, you made quite a mess of the sky," Noir said quietly.

She stopped right in front of him, reaching out with a slender hand covered by a silk black glove. She gently touched his cheek. Her touch was freezing cold, but to Neo, it felt exactly like home.

"The sky needed to be reminded of who actually owns it. Are you injured?"

"No, I am perfectly fine," Noir whispered, wrapping her arms around his waist.

She rested her head against his chest, listening to the steady and powerful rhythm of his Dominator Core.

"The barrier held strong. Zestia made sure of it. But we felt your authority getting expanded. The entire world felt it. You transcended."

Neo wrapped his arms around her slender frame. He held her tight. He had just slaughtered the highest gods of creation without blinking, but holding Noir made him realize how terrifying it would have been to lose her. He opened his eyes and looked at the ruined throne room.

"Let us fix this," Neo said.

He did not wave his hands or chant a spell. He simply willed the fabric of reality to correct itself.

The gray ash vanished. The shattered marble pillars flew backward through time, repairing their intricate carvings and standing tall once again. The collapsed ceiling sealed itself shut, revealing a flawless dome of reinforced glass.

Finally, Neo projected his authority outward into the royal courtyards. The dead, burned soil instantly bloomed. Millions of shadow roses and glowing silver orchids sprouted from the earth, filling the night air with a breathtaking fragrance.

"Show off," a bright voice called out from the grand hallway.

Zestia walked into the restored throne room. She was a vision of absolute radiance. Her long silver hair caught the ambient light, shimmering like a waterfall of pure starlight.

Her bright golden eyes were filled with overwhelming relief and fiery affection. She wore a pristine white and gold battle dress that highlighted her athletic curves.

Zestia was not alone. She held a small, squirming bundle in her arms. It was little Lyra.

"Papa!" Lyra squealed happily. The toddler had messy dark hair and big bright eyes. She reached her tiny hands out toward Neo, completely oblivious to the fact that her father had just rewritten the cosmic hierarchy through absolute genocide.

Neo smiled. It was a genuine, rare expression that completely erased the cold cruelty of the Multiversal Absolute. He let go of Noir and walked over to Zestia. He carefully took Lyra into his arms. The little girl instantly grabbed onto his dark collar and giggled.

"Husband, you could have warned us before turning the entire universe red. I thought the sky was bleeding. You terrified half the surviving council members," Zestia scolded him gently.

She then stepped forward and kissed him deeply.

Her lips were warm and tasting of sweet magic. When she pulled back, she ran her fingers through his messy dark hair.

"The council members will learn to adapt," Neo said softly. He kissed Zestia on the forehead, then turned to kiss Noir on the cheek as she walked up beside him.

"The old gods are dead. The sector is entirely secure. We have time to breathe."

"Then let us breathe. I am starving. Rebuilding defensive barriers takes a massive amount of calories."

Neo chuckled. He carried Lyra in his left arm and offered his right arm to Zestia. Noir naturally linked her arm with his left side.

Together, the absolute ruler of the multiverse and his two queens walked out of the throne room and headed toward the royal dining pavilion.

The pavilion was situated on a high balcony overlooking the capital city. Below them, millions of glowing lights were beginning to flicker back to life. The citizens were stepping out of their underground bunkers, looking up at the restored beautiful night sky in absolute awe. The First Universal Empire was already healing.

Neo snapped his fingers.

A massive mahogany table materialized on the balcony.

It was instantly covered with a flawless white silk tablecloth. Crystal glasses, silver cutlery, and golden plates arranged themselves perfectly. Neo accessed his newly acquired multiversal coordinates.

He bypassed standard cooking entirely. He simply reached into a pristine, untouched dimension known for its culinary perfection and teleported a lavish feast directly onto their table.

Platters of perfectly roasted celestial beasts appeared. Bowls of glowing, sweet fruits from the garden dimension of Eden manifested alongside them. A crystal decanter filled itself with a rich, ruby red wine that tasted of aged starlight.

"Multiversal authority has its perks," Neo stated casually as he pulled out a chair for Noir, and then another for Zestia.

"I could get used to this," Zestia laughed. She sat down and immediately picked up a piece of the glowing sweet fruit, offering a small bite to Lyra. The toddler chewed happily, her eyes widening at the magical taste.

Noir took her seat gracefully. She picked up her crystal glass and examined the glowing red wine. She took a small sip and her eyes narrowed in pleasant surprise.

"Exquisite," Noir noted. "But you cannot solve every domestic issue by tearing a hole in space and stealing from other dimensions. The treasury needs to be rebuilt. The trade routes must be established. The people need infrastructure, not just miracles."

"Always the pragmatist. But you are right. I will handle the cosmic threats. I will crush any armada that dares to enter our space. But I leave the governance of the Empire to you two. You are the queens. Your word is absolute law."

Zestia poured herself a generous glass of wine. "We will build it better than before. The old empire was too dependent on the planetary grid. We need to expand into the void. We need floating defensive fortresses. If anyone tries to drop an orbital strike on my home again, I want them vaporized before they even cross the asteroid belt."

Noir nodded in agreement. "I have already drafted the new architectural plans in my mind. We will utilize the dark matter you generate to power the new city shields. It will be an impenetrable fortress of shadow and light."

Neo listened to them talk. He watched the way the moonlight reflected off Zestia and her silver hair. He watched the elegant, calculated way Noir cut her food. He watched little Lyra playing with a floating sphere of harmless light that Zestia had conjured for her.

This was his anchor. This was his humanity. Mechanis Zero had called him a monster because the artificial god could only calculate numbers and probabilities.

The machine could not understand that Neo did not destroy the multiverse out of blind malice. He destroyed it to carve out a safe space for his family. He would burn a million universes to ash just to ensure that Noir and Zestia could drink their wine in peace.

The dinner lasted for hours. The conversation shifted away from politics and war. They talked about Lyra and her developing magical talents. They laughed about the terrified expressions of the royal guards when the sky turned red. They shared stories of their early days, back before they were gods and queens, back when they were just fighting to survive in a hostile world.

Eventually, Lyra fell asleep in her high chair. Her tiny chest rose and fell in a peaceful rhythm.

Zestia gently picked the child up. She cradled Lyra against her chest. "I should put her to bed. The little princess has had a very long day of watching her father break reality."

"I will accompany you," Noir said. She stood up and smoothed her dark dress

. She looked down at Neo asking, "Will you be joining us soon?"

"Hum, very soon," Neo promised. "I just want to look at the city for a few more minutes."

Noir leaned down and kissed him softly. Zestia gave him a warm, lingering smile before turning away. The two women walked back inside the palace, their contrasting auras of shadow and light illuminating the grand hallway.

Neo sat alone on the balcony. He poured himself one final glass of the starlight wine. He looked out over the sprawling, rebuilding capital. The fires were entirely extinguished. The magical wards were humming with fresh energy. The people were safe.

He took a slow sip of the wine.

Deep within his mind, the pitch black interface system remained completely silent. The Universal Lords were awake in the Primordial Deep. The ancient entities were angry. They were preparing a fleet that predated the concept of time itself. They were coming to punish the arrogant child who had stolen the absolute throne.
