Chapter 2272: Returning to the Tyrant Blade Sect

On the transmission formation of Demonheart City, there was a flash of white light before a person appeared. In Demonheart City, not every city has transmission formation. Only the first, second, and third cities have transmission formations, the fourth and fifth city did not.

However, the transmission formation isn’t open to the public. The transmission formation could only be used by the cultivators of the Forbidden Path Sect as well as some powerful gangs in the city.

The transmission formations in the second and third city can be used by everyone in Demonheart City. However, most cultivators don’t use the transmission formation, not because they aren’t Forbidden Path Sect disciples, but because they cannot afford to do so. Each use of the transmission formation uses 10 jade essences. Although the amount wasn’t big, it was expensive for rogue cultivators. After all, they can use the jade essences to buy windchasing horses that could service them for more than 10 years. Only when matters are urgent would gangs use transmission formations, otherwise they would just use their mounts.

The person on the transmission formation slowly walked out. He looked ordinary and wore black robes. There was no special point about him.

This person was naturally Zhao Hai. He returned to Demonheart City through the transmission formation installed in Windchase Town’s auction house.

Zhao Hai looked at the shop assistant and then smiled faintly, “I have a few items I want to trade. But I have to ask your shopkeeper to see them.”

The assistant stared at Zhao Hai for a moment, then he immediately said, “Alright. Mister, please wait in the other room while I call the shopkeeper.” Zhao Hai nodded and was then escorted to a waiting room. After offering tea to Zhao Hai, the assistant left the room, presumably going to fetch Shopkeeper Yun.

Before long, Shopkeeper Yun arrived at the waiting room. Seeing Zhao Hai, he couldn’t help but show a confused expression. He saw that Zhao Hai looked familiar, but he couldn’t pin who it was. This caused him to doubt.

Although he was confused, Shopkeeper Yun made a small bow and said, “Might I know what items Mister wants to trade? I’m the shopkeeper of the Abundance Hall.”

Zhao Hai looked at the shop assistant and then to Shopkeeper Yun, “Shopkeeper, I have to ask your assistant to leave the room. I want to speak with you privately.”

Shopkeeper Yun nodded, “That’s a good decision. If you don’t want to go back, then don’t go back. What do you plan to do now?”

Zhao Hai smiled faintly and said, “I came here hoping that you can arrange a place for me. I want to go into seclusion for some time. Then once the Forbidden Path Sect opens its gates, I’ll head over.”

Shopkeeper Yun smiled and said, “Not a problem. I’ll arrange a room for you immediately.” Zhao Hai cupped his fist and then turned on his disguise. Seeing Zhao Hai’s face change, Shopkeeper Yun couldn’t hide his surprise.

Sitting in the room arranged by Shopkeeper Yun, Zhao Hai informed the shopkeeper that he would go into seclusion. Then he arranged formations in the room before returning to the Tyrant Blade Sect.

The Tyrant Blade Sect was doing pretty well. The Tyrant Blade Sect was able to recruit more disciples than the Forbidden Path Sect. Even Yanyue Peak has newly moved-in disciples.

Zhao Hai replied, “I came back this time to report to you. Later, I’ll return to Demonheart Mountain to go into seclusion before joining the Forbidden Path Sect. The Forbidden Path Sect is famous for Body Cultivation. I can use their resources to digest the blood qi from the Sacred Elephant Mountain. When the time comes, my body will be several times stronger than body cultivators. Perhaps I might become a favored disciple of the Forbidden Path Sect.”

Hearing Zhao Hai, the Yin Elder couldn’t help but smile, “It’s good that you have a plan. We won’t stop you. But remember to not go too far in your actions in the Forbidden Path Sect. After all, they are a Great Sect of the True Spirit Realm. They can also resist the Ghost Cultivators.”
