I chatted with my friends while we ate, by chatting, it was the only way we could be ourselves.

“Is Tomas here yet? I’m getting tired of just sitting around…” Erika sighed.

Tomas was slowly descending here, he came accompanied with someone much older than him, a magician with red and blue robes, and a pointy wizard hat of red color, with golden stars. He had a long white beard and brown skin, with sharp blue eyes.

“I can introduce myself, Tomas,” the old man spoke slightly rudely. “My name is Hestefelle Ashhand, representant of the Ashhand Wizard Family in the Solterra Continent. I am the one that oversaw and supervised the entire test that Tomas took, and I’ve come to… congratulate all of you, of course. You’ve passed all tests with excellent score, and you’ve also proven yourselves to be incredibly talented.

For a moment, we all almost had a heart attack, an old wizard suddenly showing up and looking at us with suspicious eyes, but maybe he just has that sort of face.

Ashhand saw the opportunity to raise four geniuses such as all four of us, any merit we would gain would always be attributed to him, so he would win a lot from giving us this little in return.
