Chapter 1035: A Talk With Past Yggdrasil

I think my new appearance was quite flashy, it truly left him without breath.
“Ahhh, I think I could shapeshift back to my previous form? It might take some energy…” I muttered.
“No, wait! It’s perfect, you look amazing, stunning even…” Mark said. “Look at me, I just look the same in comparison, haha…”
“Aw, really? I don’t know if I like this silvery-white hair yet…” I sighed, looking at my long hair while sighing. “In comparison? Oh! Did you evolve already?!”
I looked at Mark, surprised. His humanoid form had not changed much, he was able to replicate a very male Dryad-like form like me nowadays, but before he was just a big and bulky mass of wood.
“Well there are some changes though, you do look more handsome…”
His face had become a bit more mature, and his eyes were flaring with red flames. Above all, what I loved the most was his hair, yes, he had long, red-colored fiery hair.
His wooden body could easily mimic skin like mine, but his skin had become rather toasty, of a brown color, and covered on black steel wood armor.
There were also his big, feathered wings, whose feathers were now made of black steel wood and covered in flames.
He looked both dangerous and intimidating but had an air of nobility and gentleness with his smile.
“I-Is that so?” he wondered. “I think I can take upon that big bulky form like you. I suppose we became quite similar now, we both have a “compacted” form and then a bigger form.”

“It is more convenient that way I suppose~” I nodded. “Ah right! I guess I should explain what I became, right?”
“Yeah you should! I was amazed, quite a lot!” said little Titania. “Mommy Yggdrasil was also surprised!”
“It was as if the entire world converged into your very existence, my liege, your evolution has made you even more glorious,” Nieve smiled, she looked very amazed.
“A-Ahaha, I think you’re exaggerating a bit, it’s a strong evolution I guess, but it’s not like I am a Goddess or something…” I sighed. “I did gain Time related powers; I think it might be connected to this Realm… What about you, Mark?”
“I became something called a “Blazing Spiritual Obsidian Phoenix Treant” from the previous “Blazing Infernal Pheonix Treant”. I think it might have added my temporary transformation abilities as my base strength. I can now freely switch my wood into the Black Obsidian Wood,” he explained. “It’s quite handy.”
“It is! Maybe I should have gotten you some better materials though? Was there no other evolution or secret form?” I wondered.
“Hahah, secret form? There’s no such thing, calm down,” he patted my head. “I think this form is more than enough for me. You’re much more special after all, Elayne. I know it might be still underwhelming compared to your own new evolution, but I like it. Obtaining a temporary transformation that grants me amazing abilities as a permanent form is already good enough.”
His divine soul-bound fusion skill was called… I think it was {Blazing Totem Spirit God Of Fire And War Transformation}! I suppose his new evolution doesn’t have the exact name at all, but it does works similarly, like he can now have most of its properties passively.
“Well those sounds pretty amazing actually, my bad,” I nodded. “I wonder what the names of everyone else’s Fusion Skills were. There are so many…”
“I remember Rita’s one was about a Void Dragonborn dark elf embodiment thing? And Lily was about… I think it was divine mother of the earth or something,” Mark thought about it. “Angelina had to do with archangel.”
“Now that we got another ticket I guess we can get a second Soul-Bound Divine Fusion Skill, so that’ll be yet another trump card for everyone!” I said. “They’re totally different than the usual fusion skills we get.”
“Yeah, without a doubt,” Mark nodded. “Ah, I kind of lost myself in the conversation, what do we do now? Should we return back to the smithy?”
“I actually wanted to check on Brisingra first, see how she is…” I said.
“Oh sure, then let’s go,” Mark nodded.
“I also want to meet Brisingra!” Acorn said. “I am worried if she’s fine…”
“She must be fine, but Lady Planta always worries about everyone, so I guess we should go meet her anyways, briefly if even,” Nieve commented.
“Can I go? Please? Pretty pleaseeee?” Little Titania asked.
“Err, well…” I felt a bit worried about bringing her to Cloudia. “We’ll have to ask your mom for permission first! Right, Yggdrasil?”
The gigantic tree in the background emanated a gentle wave of green and golden light.
“I’ve been thinking for a while since this Fragment of the Past has now become a Realm of its own… It will be impossible for us to remain like this forever. Stagnation will only lead us to the destruction,” Yggdrasil said. “This Realm is much different than what our past used to be. Cooperation is needed to help one another.
I once thought that it was better to leave my daughter and her siblings on their own, isolated from Cloudia, but it might be better to let them know one another much better. Being overprotective is what brought my demise in the future after all… I was too foolish, despite my age.”
“Mama…” Little Titania looked at the giant tree of Yggdrasil.
“I suppose you’re not wrong… Okay then,” I nodded. “I’ll bring her and let her see and explore Cloudia and its people.”
“Please feel free to do so,” Yggdrasil said. “Ah, one more thing, Planta… Your new form, that’s… not something I have ever seen before. I am honestly amazed. I did know that you inherited the Legacy of my previous form, the Yggdragon. And you even became an Yggdryad before, a lesser form of my own Legacy fused into that of a Dryad. But this… It feels like you’ve finally begun walking your own path.
You’ve combined the two Legacies, and further evolved them into something completely new, something that is not just the inheritance of the two of us, but your own power, your own Legacy.”
“My own Legacy…?”
