Chapter 2667: Battle Between the New Emperor and the Old Emperor

The blood battle in the Endless Starry Sky has begun!

Emperor Huanggu, the Red Line Ancient Emperor, and others fought against fourteen newly ascended Forbidden Zone Emperors, such as the Nine-leaf Sword Emperor.

In the early stages of war, Emperor Huanggu and others achieved consecutive victories, swiftly conquering Forbidden Zones like the Huang Yan Dragon Domain and Three Flames Domain, and divided them equally. Practically, all starry terrain, including the Ziwei Ancient Realm, belonged collectively to the fourteen Ancient Emperors, with particularly strong combat will.

During the initial ascension phase of many Forbidden Zone Ancient Emperors, when the power gap was not significant, this approach was indeed a highly effective way to unite internally.

The newly ascended Forbidden Zone Ancient Emperors had nothing, living together as brothers and sisters, training formation methods together. The cohesion and organizational level internally were objectively higher compared to the Nine-leaf Sword Emperor and others.

The new Ancient Emperors were victorious continuously, causing the Nine-leaf Sword Emperor and others to mostly flee at the mere sight of them.

They organized again after losing three domains consecutively, reforming into an army formation, gathering a massive force of Forbidden Zone Dao Soldiers to counterattack. A life-or-death blood battle unfolded on the borders of the Three Flames Domain and Green Bull Domain, resulting in deadlock and intense fighting.

Numerous military observation teams gathered here.

Their conflict drew significant attention across the endless starry sky.

…

Supreme Great Sun Heavenly Palace.

Many Ancient Emperors gathered together to discuss the situation on the Three Flames Green Bull battlefield.

“Sword Master,”

“Judging from the direction of our General Staff’s excellency in Taoist Soldier armies, the Old Emperors possess an advantage in Taoist Soldiers because the Red Line Ancient Emperor and others have only just ascended and lack comprehensive support, reflecting a lack of foundation.”

“But the advantage of the Old Emperors may disappear within at most two hundred thousand years.”

Yuan introduced.

This is not spoken by an Emperor Realm Cultivator but the collective will of a Xianmen Sect Forbidden Zone level Array Spirit and various computational power allocated to the General Staff of the Immortal Dynasty, speaking with considerable accuracy, unlike the assumptions of Lower Rank Cultivators.

“Is it because the Old Emperors’ Taoist Soldiers were previously annihilated by us?”

Jiang Ding inquired.

“Yes.”

“Over tens of thousands of years, the number of Old Emperors’ Forbidden Zone Dao Soldiers has been restored, including a substantial number of Supreme, Heavenly Men, and Harmonization Cultivators.”

“But the core General Officers in the Emperor Realm recover very slowly.”

Yuan explained, “Compared to that, the new Emperors’ army contains many Emperor Realm Cultivators who slumbered alongside the Immortal Dynasty. What they lack is merely the abundance of low, medium, and high-level cultivators to complete their support and drives. Once fulfilled, the new Emperors’ army will swiftly crush the old Emperors’ army, dramatically affecting the Forbidden Zone level battlefield.”

Throughout history, every generation of Ancient Emperors has established their Immortal Dynasty’s Taoist Soldiers, not without reason.

Though Taoist Soldiers cannot defeat any same rank Ancient Emperor, they cause significant impact. Ancient Emperors without the aid of Taoist Soldiers face enormous strategic disadvantages.

“Regarding the Eight-character Immortal Scripture Forbidden Zone Ancients’ battlefield outcome… the General Staff cannot estimate.”

Yuan concluded.

Swish!

Many Ancient Emperors’ gazes turned to the green-clothed youth, the main purpose of their visit here.

Undoubtedly, the Supreme Great Sun Ancient Emperor is the strongest on the current Endless Star, although unable to suppress the heavens alone, his judgment offers immense reference significance.

“Disregarding political factors, purely from the combat power perspective, the new Emperors’ likelihood of victory is substantial.”

“Firstly, the numbers; fourteen new Emperors versus nine Old Emperors, with troop superiority exceeding fifty percent, a tremendous advantage.”

“All are Eight-character Immortal Scripture Forbidden Zone Ancient Emperors, though the Nine-leaf and others surpass the new Emperors somewhat, yet far from reaching one-against-two capability.”

Jiang Ding pondered for a long time and concluded, “Secondly, the new Emperors possess nothing, with stronger morale, internal cohesion, and fighting desire, thirdly, the presence of Huanggu.”

“Huanggu?”

Numerous Ancient Emperors asked.

“Yes, Fellow Daoist Huanggu.”

Jiang Ding said, “Though Huanggu is merely a Nine Character Immortal Scripture Ancient Emperor, he is the contemporary Great Emperor, bestowed with Emperor’s Seal, battling Eight-character Immortal Scripture Ancient Emperors unbeaten. More importantly, he completely fears no death; for thirty million years, he is immortal, which is utterly terrifying.”

“Though Nine-leaf and others claim fearlessness of death, the inner fear persists. Unless forced to desperate circumstances, they would not wish to face death and cherish life dearly.”

“But Huanggu fears no death, never dying!”

“This means the new Emperors have gained the most acute sharpness, strongest shield, an unrivaled general, utterly fearless of death!”

“Anyone well-versed in war would not underestimate the significance of such an undying unit.”

“Therefore, in my opinion, at most two hundred thousand years, the new Emperors will achieve victory.”

The Supreme Great Sun Ancient Emperor slowly rendered his final judgment.

Two hundred thousand years!

Time Order Ancient Emperor, Weak Water Ancient Emperor, Wanchong Mountain Ancient Emperor, and others felt a slight shock, pondering some dreadful possibility.

Numerous Ancient Emperors simultaneously showed panic.

“Sword Master…”

“Once the victory is determined,”

Time Order Ancient Emperor took a deep breath and said, “After the victory is determined, will the new and old Emperors converge?”

Convergence of new and old Emperors!

Why must they converge, and what’s the purpose?

It is undoubtedly the Supreme Great Sun Domain, Supreme Great Sun Ancient Emperor!

The richest land in the Endless Starry Sky, the most powerful place that repeatedly defeated joint forces of Forbidden Zone Ancient Emperors with its single domain; Tai Shang, most akin to an immortal, Supreme Great Sun Ancient Emperor!

The current Supreme Great Sun Ancient Emperor elicits distinct apprehension, inevitable thus.

By then, there would be a whole twenty-one Eight-character Immortal Scripture Ancient Emperors besieging one!

This terrifying scene, suffocates even at the thought.

“It should happen.”

“Moreover, barring unforeseen circumstances, I’m certain to lose.”

Jiang Ding smiled slightly, seeing the uneasy emperors, he calmly said, “Why should we worry, fellow Daoists? Would I recklessly charge into an assured defeat?”

“If overwhelmed, we retreat.”

“Fellow Daoists, from now on, launch temporary strategic shifting plans. If faced with insurmountable war, swiftly transfer all core industries, core talents, core treasures like Zhenyuan Ginseng Fruit Tree, hide and wait for the right timing. The future still belongs to us.”

“The new and old Emperors…”

Jiang Ding sniggered, “They presume to sever our paths with one war, how laughable!”

“Just mere jars and pots, lost is lost.”

“At most, within tens of thousands of years, we can restore and transcend the Supreme Great Sun Domain’s pinnacle. Future victory is ours and unquestionably so!”

“Is there any doubt in that?”

The Supreme Great Sun Ancient Emperor’s voice echoed like a mighty bell across the surroundings.

The palace fell silent instantly.

Then, numerous Ancient Emperors became genuinely convinced, each bowing down, all internal fear and unease vanished.

“The Sword Master’s remarkable insight!”
