"You heard it right. He takes them out and puts one on right away as if it were the most normal thing in the world! Can you believe it?!"

"No, and the worst part was the face he made when I tore them!" Yumiko added, equally outraged, as she took a cup of freshly served tea to calm her nerves.

"This time, Kai has really gone too far." Tomoko commented, shaking her head gently with a sad expression. Shino asked in a flat voice while reaching out to take a cup of tea.

"Could that be why he only did it with Tomoko yesterday? Because he hadn’t bought them yet."

"That’s the most likely reason. And he promised me I’d be the first one, and last night he didn’t even come to my room; I stayed up waiting for him." Ryuko added with an angry pout. At that moment, Keiko commented in an apologetic tone.

"That part was our fault. We were so angry last night that we didn’t let him leave, but he told us he wanted to go find you."

Yumiko and Keiko refused to answer and simply looked away, although they obediently stayed on Kai’s lap. Getting no response, Kai let out a small sigh before speaking again.

"Alright, I’m sorry. It was totally my fault. How about next week the three of us go for a trip to the United States? I just bought a ranch with all its horses, and among them are a former five-gaited champion and two Western Pleasure horses."

Upon hearing Kai, Yumiko and Keiko looked at each other with contemplative expressions, but right at that moment, Nejire’s cheerful voice rang out in the room.

After kissing Yumiko and Keiko, Kai finally let them return to their seats, at which point Momo finished putting all the food on the table. Giving Kai a quick peck on the lips, Momo sat down across from him at the table, signaling the start of breakfast.

"Kai was simply doing the most responsible thing. If the contraceptive method is no longer reliable, the most logical thing is to use a condom.
