Chapter 398: My Girls

[Ravager 2 - 0 Magnum]

It was getting closer to the 90-minute mark.

The fans of the Magnums were already holding their heads in their hands, as they thought that it was already over.

"Huff... huff... huff..."

Nathaniel was just walking down the field, too tired to run another step, and he just watched as Ravagers were passing the ball with each other.

They weren’t trying to attack anymore.

They were just making sure that Magnums had zero chance to do any comeback this late in the game.

’Ugh, whatever. What should I do after this? Maybe find some beautiful girl to bring to my apartment with.’

Nathaniel thought.

Then, he looked across the stadium. If any girl caught his gaze, then he looked towards the screen.

It was showing reactions of several people in the arena, and then it shifted to show three people—two beautiful young women and one young man.

He ignored that one young man and looked at the two young women, who were insanely beautiful.

’Whoah... Two babes...’

Nathaniel thought, and he licked his lips, and then heard the sound of the whistle going off—the game was over.

He started vanishing from the field. Just like every other player.

Hard Football Stadium, Game Room of Magnum’s.

The Virtual Reality Pods opened up, and the players climbed out of the pods—they didn’t look that exhausted anymore.

Back in the field, they were all sweating and looking like they might pass out, but now they were fine.

It was because the exhaustion didn’t carry to their real bodies.

"It’s just one loss. Let’s do better next time."

The coach said with a serious look on his face.

It always pissed him off to lose like this, but they just couldn’t crack the Ravager’s goalkeeper—no matter how much they tried.

They had twenty shots in the goal while the Ravagers only had six—so in a way, they dominated—but their goalkeeper was just too good.

"Hey, manager boss."

Nathaniel walked over to his manager, who was a glasses-wearing man, and he rubbed his hands like a sleazy salesman.

"Yes, Mr. Nathaniel? Great work out there, by the way, you were definitely the best player in the field!"

"I saw two girls on the screen. Total babes. One of them had shorter blond hair, and another one was a taller woman with black hair.

"Find them for me, and bring them to me, okay?"

Nathaniel asked.

"Sure thing, boss!"

The manager said with a big smile and then ran off to do the task, and Nathaniel went straight to the shower, humming a tune.

"That was so fun!"

Della said with a smile as she walked with Raon, and Chaewon, in the middle of them, grinned from ear to ear.

She was shorter than both of them, but her energy was infectious.

"We should do this more often. I like these dates. There are many more things we can do over here in the Megaworld."

Chaewon said with a big smile.

She also would like to visit the Grand Sports Floor with the two of them, as she thought it would be really fun.

"Hey, missus!"

They heard someone call out to them—they turned around—and saw a sweaty-looking man in a black suit running over to them.

’Is he calling to us or to somebody else?’

Fang Raon wondered.

But then the man stopped by them—it was obvious he was calling out to them—and he then pulled out his business card.

[Manager of Nathaniel Redman]

’The manager of Nathaniel? What would he want from us?’

Fang Raon wondered with a frown.

"Nathaniel has asked me to bring the two of you girls over for a meet-and-greet with him. A little thing he likes to do with the fans of the sport."

The manager said with a sleazy smile.

"Really?"

Chaewon asked with a look of surprise.

"...Should we go?"

Della asked from Chaewon and Raon, and then two girls looked at Raon as if they were making him choose.

"Sure, let’s go."

Fang Raon said.

"Umm... He was only asking for you girls... Not you, young man. Sorry, maybe next time."

The manager said with an awkward smile.

"..."

Chaewon’s eyes narrowed suspiciously, and she had a feeling that he wasn’t just wanting to meet and greet them.

"I am not going anywhere without him."

Della said.

"Uh..."

The manager looked troubled but knew that Nathaniel would be annoyed if he failed to bring them, so he then sighed and nodded.

"A-alright, you can come too."

He said and then turned his heel around and started leading them towards the Magnum locker room.

"...I don’t like this."

Chaewon whispered to Fang Raon, but he then grabbed her hand and reassured her with his handsome smile.

"It will be fine."

Fang Raon said with certainty.

Chaewon looked at her smile. Blushed and nodded. She then felt calmer and squeezed his hand tighter.

A little while later, they arrived at the Magnum team’s locker room and saw the players that they saw in the field already.

They were packing their stuff, about to leave.

"Nathaniel has his own private room, so let’s go there."

The manager led them through the locker room and then arrived at the room at the back and knocked on the door.

"Come in."

Nathaniel’s voice came from inside, and then the manager opened the door and let the three of them in.

"Hmm?"

Nathaniel was sitting on his chair, legs crossed, and he looked at the three that entered—one person didn’t belong here.

"What is the meaning of this? What is he doing here?"

Nathaniel looked at Fang Raon with a hostile gaze, who met his gaze with indifference.

The manager ran to his side—whispered something in his ear—and Nathaniel just groaned in annoyance.

"Bring the guys."

Nathaniel said with a sigh, and the manager looked troubled but then smiled and ran out of the room.

"I hope you girls had fun watching the match. How did you like my performance?"

Nathaniel asked with a smile.

"You didn’t score any goals, so not that good, I think."

Chaewon said with a laugh, and Della giggled at her, and Nathaniel’s eyebrow slightly twitched.

In that moment, the players of Magnums started to walk inside the room—they were like a gang, and they all gave Fang Raon a menacing look as they passed by him.

"Take this guy out of here, he is not supposed to be here. I have some business with these two babes here."

Nathaniel said and winked his left eye, but it made him look like a douche, and the two women felt a chill run down their backs.

"What the hell are you doing?!"

Chaewon asked angrily and watched as the Magnum players grabbed Raon and tried to drag him out of the room.

However.

He didn’t budge an inch.

"I am sorry, but these girls are mine."

Fang Raon grabbed the Magnum player from his throat, lifted him up like it was nothing, and then threw him across the room!

"...Whoah..."

Everyone else took a step back, and looked at their friend, who was just thrown across the room like it was nothing!

"...Raon?"

Chaewon and Della looked at him with surprise.

They didn’t think he was this strong!
