[BL] Transmigrated Into A Fool To Seduce The Blackened Male Lead
Chapter 82: Yizhou’s Illusion (Part 10)
Chapter 82: Chapter 82: Yizhou’s Illusion (Part 10)
As soon as Sui Sui opened his eyes, another scene unfolded before him. However, this time, it was not the underground dungeon he had seen in the previous round of the illusion.
Instead, he found himself standing outside a rather plain-looking courtyard. Tall bamboo trees surrounded the area, their leaves rustling softly in the breeze. Several people stood guard at the entrance, clearly preventing anyone from entering. Above the gates hung a wooden sign bearing three simple words: Bamboo Courtyard.
Seeing this, Sui Sui immediately realized where he was.
This should be Yizhou’s own courtyard, the place where he had been confined under house arrest according to acting sect leader Jiang’s words earlier.
Compared to the dark underground prison from the previous version of the scene, this was already a much better outcome.
At the very least, Yizhou was not being treated like a condemned criminal and thrown into a dungeon, so Sui Sui quietly breathed a sigh of relief.
Just as Sui Sui was taking in his surroundings, a familiar childish voice suddenly came from his own mouth.
"Wah, where did Sui Sui go? How did Sui Sui get here?"
Sui Sui paused for a moment before realizing what had happened.
He had almost forgotten that he and Bai Sui Sui were sharing the same body.
However, hearing Bai Sui Sui’s words made Sui Sui became even more certain that the Bai Sui Sui within this illusion was a strange and unusual existence. After all, how could he possibly be aware that the scene around them had changed? Sui Sui had no answer to that question for now, so he decided to set it aside. Whatever the reason, it did not seem to pose any danger to their current situation.
"Bai Sui Sui, remember what I told you? This is all just normal cultivation stuff, okay? Now go find Senior Brother," Sui Sui communicated from within the shared body. Since he couldn’t reveal that this place was only an illusion because evealing the truth might cause unnecessary trouble, he could only give Bai Sui Sui a vague explanation and deceive him for the time being.
"Okay! Sui Sui will listen to the kind stranger. Sui Sui will go find Senior Brother, hehe!" Bai Sui Sui replied aloud.
Fortunately, there was no one around to hear him. Otherwise, talking to a "kind stranger" who wasn’t visibly there would probably have earned him another reputation besides being a fool.
It seemed that Bai Sui Sui was actually somewhat familiar with the place. Despite the guards stationed at the main gates, he surprisingly knew where to go. He made his way toward a secluded area at the back of the courtyard, where dense bushes and overgrown weeds concealed a small hole in the wall.
The opening was just large enough for one person to squeeze through.
Seeing Bai Sui Sui crawl through the hole, Sui Sui suddenly remembered something from the novel.
There had been several passages mentioning how Bai Sui Sui would constantly sneak into Yizhou’s courtyard just to secretly peek at him. Sui Sui had always wondered how the little fool had managed to get into the courtyard so often without being caught.
Now he finally knew.
Apparently, this was his secret entrance.
The realization nearly made Sui Sui laugh. Honestly, why even bother sneaking around when he couldn’t completely conceal his aura? Yizhou had actually been able to sense the little stalker’s presence all along. It was just that, back when Yizhou was still the kind and gentle protagonist from the original novel, he had never exposed Bai Sui Sui. Perhaps he simply wanted to preserve the young man’s dignity and avoid embarrassing him.
Of course, if Bai Sui Sui had tried the same thing with the later, blackened version of Yizhou, there was probably a ninety-nine percent chance that the little fool would have been bullied for it.
Finally, after struggling for quite some time, Bai Sui Sui managed to squeeze through the hole. Sui Sui had no idea what he looked like after all that crawling, but he could probably guess that the little fool was covered in dirt and looked rather disheveled by now.
Once he got back on his feet, Bai Sui Sui did not head toward the main entrance. Instead, he somehow found a window at the back of the courtyard and climbed inside through it.
At this point, he really looked like a professional intruder.
Bai Sui Sui quietly made his way through the courtyard before eventually stopping in front of one of the rooms.
He raised his hand toward the door, but then hesitated.
For some reason, he suddenly seemed reluctant to go inside.
"Mister stranger, will it really be okay for Sui Sui to do this? Sui Sui is a little scared. What if Senior Brother despises Sui Sui if he finds out that Sui Sui sneaked in?" Bai Sui Sui asked in a low voice, speaking to the person inside his head.
"Yes, it’s definitely okay. Don’t worry about it and just go inside," Sui Sui urged him.
"He really won’t be angry?" Bai Sui Sui asked pessimistically. "People outside say Senior Brother hates it when people bother him the most. That’s why Sui Sui has always been sneaking around."
"Nonsense. How could your Senior Brother hate you?" Sui Sui reassured him. "Don’t worry and just go inside, okay?"
Well, it was true, anyway. Yizhou had never really hated Bai Sui Sui for sneaking around him. If anything, he had simply chosen to tolerate the little fool’s antics and quietly let him have his fun.
After much persuasion, Bai Sui Sui finally worked up the courage to enter. He knocked on the door first, but when no one answered, Sui Sui urged him to simply open it.
Bai Sui Sui carefully pushed the door open.
The moment they stepped inside, they saw someone lying on the bed.
Yizhou was sleeping on his back, one arm resting loosely beside him while the other lay across his chest. His fingers were relaxed, and his entire body seemed unusually still. His long black hair had come undone and spread across the pillow, with a few strands falling loosely around his face.
His complexion was pale from his injuries, making the dark contrast of his hair even more pronounced. His eyebrows were naturally sharp and well-defined, but at this moment, they were tightly knitted together, as though even in sleep he could not escape whatever troubled his mind. His long eyelashes cast faint shadows beneath his closed eyes, while his straight nose and perfectly shaped lips gave him an almost unreal appearance.
His bandaged hands and upper body were visible beneath the loose robes, while a spirit-binding robe wrapped tightly around his legs, restricting his movements. The restraints should have made him look pitiful, yet somehow they only added to the strange contrast between his vulnerable state and his overwhelming appearance.
Both Bai Sui Sui and Sui Sui were completely mesmerized.
What was this beauty?
This was practically a feast for the eyes.
Sui Sui stared for several moments before finally remembering that he was supposed to be doing something.
He silently marveled at Yizhou’s appearance.
The male lead’s lethality really was ridiculous.
Even after being beaten half to death, wrapped in bandages, restrained by a spirit-binding robe, and thrown onto a bed, he could still look this good.
What kind of unreasonable protagonist aura was this?
Sui Sui finally tore his attention away from Yizhou with considerable difficulty.
"Go closer," Sui Sui urged.
Bai Sui Sui obediently took a few small steps toward the bed. However, when he reached Yizhou’s side, he stopped again and stared at the sleeping figure nervously.
"What should Sui Sui do now?" he whispered.
"Take his hand," Sui Sui told him.
Bai Sui Sui immediately shook his head. "But Senior Brother is sleeping. What if Sui Sui wakes him up?"
"It’s fine, don’t worry"
Bai Sui Sui hesitated for a moment longer before finally reaching out. His fingers carefully wrapped around Yizhou’s hand, almost as though he were afraid of hurting him.
The moment their hands touched, Sui Sui closed his eyes and activated his spiritual power.
To his relief, he could still use his own spiritual energy even though his consciousness was currently residing within Bai Sui Sui’s body. He carefully guided it into Yizhou’s body, following the familiar flow of his meridians.
Although it was not as violent as it had been earlier, but it remained unsettled, constantly surging through the meridians in disordered waves. Sui Sui patiently guided it, using the dual cultivation technique to connect their spiritual energies and gradually calm the turbulence.
Unbeknownst to him, the person lying on the bed was beginning to stir.
Yizhou’s eyelashes trembled faintly, his closed eyes slowly began to flutter open.
