Chapter 687: ’Perfect’, my ass

  • Next Chapter

Cass had felt exposed before. Especially in front of the doctor, but having his pants removed and being assisted up onto the bed on his back? While a stool brought to the edge of the bed where the doctor sat staring at his privates while Edgar, Gideon and Lucian huddled around like he was about to give birth?

Cass did not like it one bit.

The doctor asked permission before they did anything, which Cass appreciated, but he didn’t like anything that was happening. Cass was learning he didn’t like doctors. Nothing against them and what they did, he just felt very uncomfortable.

"What are you doing, doctor?" Lucian asked, the dragon at the forefront of his human vessel. He was barely contained, the weight of his magic and being surrounding everyone in the room.

"I’m checking the development of the lord’s organs. I am also making sure that they are developing in the proper places and that nothing has swapped." Cass went pale.

"Swapped?" Cass sounded shrill to his own ears. Edgar squeezed his hand.

"Can you explain, doctor?" Edgar asked calmly and thankfully, the doctor did. Alarmingly, Cass didn’t like what he was hearing.

"Yes, my apologies, my lord. Sometimes, when one forms a contract or one’s demonic blood suddenly activates...things can go wrong. I didn’t want to worry you, but since we are in this situation where you are developing multiple reproductive organs, sometimes things get lost in translation. After all, you have a lot of magic in your body. My job and what I am good at, is reading the currents inside of a body to see what has developed and where." This was all new to Cass. They’d never heard this from the doctor before.

Thankfully, they couldn’t see Cass’ confused face, and continued.

"It does mean I do have to touch the areas of concern for just a moment. I apologise for the sudden touch, but it isn’t a probing gesture, just a simple touch. It works through gloves, which I have brought." The doctor murmured before Cass twitched and gasped.

Being unable to see what the doctor was doing didn’t help Cass’ state of mind, but he calmed as he realised that the doctor was right. They only touched the edges of Cass’ vagina.

Cass didn’t appreciate the thoughtful sound they made, nor did Lucian.

"Is something wrong?" He asked, worried, and the doctor sighed.

"No...nothing wrong, per se, but there is something odd. I’ll speak more of it once I check the lord’s other entrance." The doctor said.

Of course that had Cass panicking. Who wouldn’t? The doctor didn’t give Cass much time to recover either, or consider what was about to happen to him.

Instead, they slid their fingers down. Cass’ legs twitched involuntarily, his knees pulling inward and Lucian reached out, preventing Cass from closing them entirely. Cass’ face flushed deeply, embarrassment filling him at the literal knee jerk reaction, but the doctor said nothing about it.

They were quite professional even in the absurd situation that they all found themselves in. Cass squeezed both Gideon’s and Edgar’s hands tightly, holding on for dear life while Lucian observed everything like the protective beast that he was.

All in all, Cass was finding this even more humiliating than the first or second observation that the doctor had done, and he had a feeling it was only going to get worse.

"Huh." That didn’t sound good. Cass really didn’t like the sound of that.

"Is something wrong?" Cass asked and the doctor stood up so that they could meet Cass’ eyes. They were smiling with relief.

"No, my lord. Everything seems to have developed beautifully." They said. Cass felt relief fill him at those simple words, forgetting what that actually meant.

"So a womb developed?" Lucian asked gruffly. He had let go of Cass’ knees as soon as the doctor had stood, and now had his arms crossed. He looked rather serious, and the relief Cass had faded.

Right.

The doctor nodded.

"I was worried because it was on the smaller side, but after doing a quick scan of the flow of magic inside the lord, it made perfect sense. He is, after all, male first, female second. A rather strange thing when one considers that it is normally the opposite." That seemed to confuse the other men, but Cass nodded.

He had a sister. When she was angry at men in general she had often quoted that, and when Cass was old enough, he’d looked it up himself. It was the truth.

"So I have a separate thing going on?" Cass asked and the doctor nodded.

"Well, I wouldn’t call it a ’thing’, but yes, my lord. Your body has had to adjust to having a new organ, especially one for reproduction. It’s done quite a good job for developing under those circumstances. I would say the method that you were using helped it develop slowly, which meant it could take its time. Being overwhelmed in the beginning can have detrimental side effects." They reminded Cass and Cass sighed.

"So you don’t want me to rush this?" Cass confirmed and they let out a soft sigh.

"If I could be candid? No, but given the gravity of the situation you are dealing with, I understand your desire to force the issue. If you are heeding my directions, yet still you need to continue down this path, all I can do is help make the best path forward." The doctor said. "Now that I know the perfect condition that your womb is in, that will help me going forward." Cass’ face burned.

He did not like to know he had a ’perfect womb’. It felt like curse words given everything that was going on in his life.

"What about...putting things inside of it?" Cass asked and the doctor blinked.

"Things?" They repeated and Cass nodded. He hesitated, licking his lips before he continued.

"You know...things." Cass repeated and the doctor only tilted their head in confusion.

"I am afraid, my lord, I don’t follow what you are saying. Are you putting things that don’t belong inside of you? What of the sexual wellness toys that I made you?" He asked and Cass wanted the ground to swallow him up.

He was still on his back, his legs splayed, and the doctor still had a perfect view of his lower body. Fuck.

"You said it was small, didn’t you?" Cass asked, his face burning. "I don’t know much, but I remember women talking about tearing. Will that happen to me?" Cass asked and watched as the doctor suddenly understood.

Lucian glowered behind him, looking more like a monster by the second.

"Tearing? Could we hurt him?" Lucian demanded and the doctor gave a soft chuckle.

"You know, I didn’t consider that, my lord. Forgive me." The doctor said, smiling. "No. I would say you shouldn’t have to worry about tearing. I didn’t explain thoroughly and you have my sincerest apologies. Your womb has developed perfectly for your demonic lineage. You will never have to worry about tearing like a fully human would would, or even a half human woman. This is your second sex organ, and while this is not common, it does happen on occasion." Cass was shocked to hear that.

"What? There are other poor souls out there like me?" Cass shouted, completely horrified. The doctor gave a tight smile.

"Tragically, yes, my lord. But don’t worry, I make sure to give them all the help I can. With that said, you should be able to stretch and accommodate any size. I wouldn’t worry about how much space it takes up at the moment, unless you plan to get pregnant. If that is the case..." the doctor turned and looked back towards the office. "I’m not as familiar with how fairies create offspring, so I would consult fairies further." The doctor told him.

"Can I sit up now?" Cass asked and the doctor seemed flustered at the realisation that they hadn’t told Cass to sit up yet.

"Oh! Of course, my lord. My deepest apologies." They were apologising a lot today. Cass wasn’t sure what that meant. "May I go ahead to the office to begin preparing the medicines I would like to give you?" Cass nodded, and instead of Lucian, Gideon went with them.

Lucian stayed behind with Edgar to comfort Cass and wind him down. Cass took quite a bit of petting and soothing after hearing all of that. It was quite the traumatic experience, even if the doctor meant nothing by it.

Perfect womb his ass. Terrifying statement.

When Cass got back to the office with Edgar and Lucian, the doctor was in the middle of concocting. Deep in thought, Gideon stood silently by, watching with interest as they did so. Lucian peered over, sniffed, and turned back to Cass.

He offered Cass his arms, and Cass, shaken enough as it was, went willingly.

Edgar and Gideon glanced at them, smiling warmly as Cass buried himself in the warm dragon’s embrace.

"Tired, my love?" Lucian rumbled and Cass nodded. He was simply exhausted.

"I won’t take much more of your time." The doctor spoke up from where they were mixing. "I just have a simple explanation of what you need to take before you proceed to chase away pregnancy. Demons and humans get pregnant much the same way, and while I have little knowledge of fairies beyond the nursery tree’s importance, dragons follow the same suit as humans with one major caveat."

"I cannot get anyone but my mate pregnant." Lucian finished and Cass jerked.

"What?" He couldn’t help but be shocked. It wasn’t something they had discussed. Lucian smiled down at Cass, cupping his cheek.

"There will be no little dragons until you say so, sweetness."
