Beneath the Red Dragon

Chapter 791 - 131: My Heart Reigns Supreme

  • Next Chapter

The will of heaven has always been hard to inquire, yet the human heart stands above it.

Heaven’s will is a rule, a shackle, a bondage, and can also be a concrete manifested divine spirit!

Like the sands of the eternal river, the material world and countless living beings must be bound by those invisible rules, constrained by order, and overlooked by the divine spirits.

But whether it is the fierce Ancestral Red Dragon Karon Gogomola, whose cold expression becomes enigmatic due to those scales, seeming both wrathful and amused.

Or the Elf Hero King Anudale, surrounded by catastrophe and destruction, as if encircled by countless hellish spirits, whose aura soars to the heavens.

Their wills embody this notion: the heavens are not high, but this heart is the highest.

Their wills rise magnificently, creating a tangible sense of oppression and bondage among the surrounding creatures, as their wills in this small space strive to reach the highest heaven.

The aura of confrontation between these immeasurable beings seems to freeze the surrounding environment, pacifying even the furious sea, and elevating a suffocating atmosphere in the world.

The platform, hundreds of meters wide, felt overwhelmingly oppressive, so much so that even the White Dragon King Gomot sensed the air thinning around him.

The Dark Nest Lord Shalos also felt the organs within her flesh desperately trying to absorb the increasingly scarce magic power and air.

These powerful beings do not need air to survive, yet in the presence of greater power, their organs instinctively accumulate excess energy, much like mortals stockpiling resources anticipating a coming disaster year.

The Emperor of the Golden Empire and the King of Dark Elves both possess qualities in their wills unattainable by mortal beings.

Making their wills appear akin to the manifestation of those rules, possessing incredible abilities.

The sunset had not yet fallen as the sky was bathed in a yellowish glow.

But the fierce winds rose violently, spontaneously, turning the sky dark in an instant.

The sea winds from the Sea of Fury covered the armor of all legion warriors in a cold dampness, as ships and flags on the sea trembled, at risk of being swept away at any moment.

At the harbor dozens of miles away, laborers transporting goods and people on the ships seemed worlds apart, staring in awe at the distant Sea of Fury, now transformed into the most terrifying storm zone.

In the dim area, gusts began to roar, clouds twisted and scattered, waves crashed ashore, obscuring the truth within.

This sudden rise of fierce winds and oppressive sky, the Sea of Fury’s waves, are both the result of the Ancestral Red Dragon’s latent anger and the powerful aura of the King of Dark Elves Anudale.

All Imperial Legion warriors dispersed afar as instructed, while ferocious Flying Dragons carrying Demon Dragon Knights soared into the sky, scattering over the sea.

A voice from the high heavens spread far under the firmament, "The Emperor of the Empire delivers a decree to all sea and surrounding citizens and creatures, listen to this sacred decree,"

"All beings within a fifty-mile radius must keep away, sea vessels must immediately enter the port, and must not linger outside..."

In the winds and clouds high above, the skulls, wings, and claws of the giant dragons faintly appeared, these agitated wild dragons cautiously hid in the sky, observing carefully.

But debates spread around these giant dragons, "What daring entity dares confront the Dragon Emperor and Dragon King of the Golden Empire?"

"Fool, are your eyes growing on your backside?" a wild dragon sneered, "These two dwarfs are clearly guests from the Dark Nest, maybe they’re the lord of the Dark Nest and their hidden ally."

"That seems right, while fishing earlier, I saw ships from the Dark Nest," a White Dragon quietly peeked its head.

"We should stay farther away, these two dwarfs causing trouble on the empire’s land surely possess extraordinary skills, especially the elf’s power, even hundreds of miles away, I still felt my scales chilled."

"Indeed, stay farther away, if they clash, it won’t be a power we can withstand, a war between Kings can only be concluded by death!"

The Dragon Group moved away, the near sea silent.

Anudale’s face remained stern, his endless aura surged unrestrained, prompting White Dragon Gomot to slightly step back, the scales on the White Dragon tense, much like the tightened body of the Dark Nest Lord Shalos.

His voice sounded like the terrifying tone from the King of Evil Ghosts haunted by disaster spirits, "I have heard Emperor Gogomola is a wise ruler, a noble superior, a formidable high-ranking being,"

"I come here to admire your ideals, respect your power, express my determination and will, seeking consensus, not to battle against you!"

"I believe with Emperor Gogomola’s wisdom and will, our forces and interests won’t be damaged by some superficial behavior of mine!"

King of Dark Elves Anudale is the second legendary celestial-destiny near-powerful being that Ancestral Red Dragon Karon Gogomola has encountered in his life.
