Chapter 52: Crouching Tiger
Chapter 52: Crouching Tiger
Zhao Luo was someone who had lived a life of solitude before because of his sickness. As for now he had nothing to complain about. One after another everyone he met and made a connection with was nice and it was fun to be around them or when they were around him. So Zhao Luo had nothing to complain about.
Brother we will be your family.
Brother Sang said while looking at Zhao Luo. He knew that Zhao Luo already considered him and the others as good friends but he wanted to be his family.
Zhao Luo who was walking alongside Brother Sang and Yan smiled when he heard Brother Sang’s statement. He felt touched and emotional.
After he had started traveling he never thought that he would one day have people who would care so much for him.
Zhao Luo looked at Brother Sang.
You are already my family.
Zhao Lup said to him.
Brother Sang turned his face away.
‘I can’t cry. A man doesn’t cry.’
Brother Sang thought as tears were building up in his eyes but he controlled his crying urge by biting his lips.
Brother I want to be your family too.
Yan told Zhao Luo about her wish as she also wanted to be someone who Zhao Luo would consider as his family.
She didn’t want to fall behind Brother Sang in this sense.
Yes yes you too.
Zhao Luo said to her. He agreed with her while patting her head. Now that he knew about her real identity he didn’t feel weird doing this.
Yan published as she looked a Zhao Luo with big eyes.
Hehe I will treat you nicely.
The blushing Yan said to Zhao Luo while winking at him.
Yan was feeling very delighted. Zhao Luo was feeling a little embarrassed as a young girl was making fun of him.
I hope so.
Zhao Luo said.
While Zhao Luo and Yan were talking Brother Sang interrupted them.
We are here. Brother Luo and Yan let’s go get you both rooms for your stay tonight.
Brother Sang said as he halted right outside a hotel in the inner area.
Zhao Luo looked at the building in front of him and he could easily say that it may be the shortest hotel building that he had ever seen in his life.
The hotel building was just a single-story building on the ground floor. There were no upper floors. So Zhao Luo felt a little disappointed.
Hotel PinK CuBe.
Zhao Luo read the name of the hotel from the rather stylish signboard. The name was written in golden color which had a pink shade. The name was extravagant compared to the size of the hotel.
Brother I know what you are thinking right now but you will be surprised when you go inside.
Brother Sang said to Zhao Luo with a grin.
This is the best hotel in Xin Range.
Brother Sang continued.
Zhao Luo looked confused.
If this is the back then other hotels will be even smaller than this one. Do dwarves stay there?
Zhao Luo questioned. It was hard to believe that such a small hotel could be the best in a range which had 10 cities.
You will know when you go inside.
Brother Sang walked towards the entrance of PinK CuBe and the hotel’s entrance was through a door.
This door functioned quite similar to the door of the Robester shop in the marketplace of the outer area.
Zhao Luo and Yan also followed Brother Sang towards the entrance of the Hotel.
Wooop wooop wooop.
The three appeared on the other side of the door which was the hotel’s main hall. This was the third time Zhao Luo was going through this.
The building looked different from the outside but was completely something else when u would go inside it.
It happened to him when he had entered the Sect Building and the shop from where he got his robe. But this time the building’s inner design was just at another level.
Never judge a building by its outer design.
Zhao Luo said as he nodded. This saying was truly the best suitable quote that he could think of.
He looked around and saw that the hall where they were was so ravishing that the whole floor was twinkling like stars. Zhao Luo was looking around just when two attendants approached them.
Welcome to Hotel Pink Cube.
They both said at the same time. Their voices overlapped on each other’s which was a very unique talent. But the thing which confused Zhao Luo was the refreshing feeling he was hit with when he heard their voice.
‘Wow.’
Zhao Luo thought as he felt like he had been resting for weeks when he had just been walking a long distance to reach here.
This is their special entry chant. They both must be bards.
It was Yan who explained to Zhao Luo as Brother Sang was busy talking with them.
‘Nod.’
Zhao Luo nodded as that refreshing feeling was still coursing through his body.
Well Brother Luo and Yan I will be going now.
Brother Sang said to them.
He was gonna leave them.
Where are you going?
Zhao Luo asked him as he thought that they were going to be staying at the hotel together. But now Brother Sang was saying that he was going to leave.
I have to go back to my ‘Sang Sang Merchant’ group as I still have many things to check and do there. Tomorrow I will be going to the Sect too so I want to clear everything before I leave for the Sect.
Brother Sang told Zhao Luo the reason for leaving them.
Okay. Let’s meet tomorrow then.
Zhao Luo said as he understood Brother Sang’s situation.
They will lead you to your rooms. Let’s meet at the Sect tomorrow.
Brother Sang said to Zhao Luo and Yan as he pointed his hands towards the attendants.
Well I will go now. Bye.
Brother Sang said his farewell as he turned to leave.
Wooop.
Zhao Luo saw his back disappearing as he reached the door of the hotel.
Let’s go Sirs.
The attendees said to Zhao Luo and Yan as they starting walking towards the reception.
After following them and being shown their rooms Zhao Luo and Yan went to rest as tomorrow will be the day when they will be finally the day when they will be starting their life as Xin Sect disciple.
Inside Zhao Lup’s room.
Zhao Luo was on his bed. He was sitting in the lotus position. He had his eyes closed as he was going over the things he had learned from his old master.
Zhao Luo appeared in his dark mind space.
He wanted to go over Naoli as it felt weird for not being in his mind space when for the last year he was there.
Summon.
Zhao Luo said as nine apparitions of his appeared in front of him.
Saluuuu~~~~uuuuut.
They all said as they saluted Zhao Luo while bowing their shoulders.
Hehe.
Zhao Luo smirked as he remembered the days when it was hard to control them after summoning. But now it was like a feeling engraved in his body.
I want to test my power so come at me. You. Come.
Zhao Luo ordered his apparitions as he had his fists clenched tightly. He pointed at one of them who then moved towards Zhao Luo.
Waaahhh.
The apparition rushed at him and Zhao Luo clashed with him.
All of Zhao Luo’s apparitions that he had summoned now were around Bimba’s level.
If they all attacked him together then it would be like fighting ten Bimba’s at once.
Zhao Luo exchanged some hits with his apparition that had rushed at him.
The fighting style of Zhao Luo and his apparitions was still as barbaric as ever.
The apparition punched Zhao Luo’s abdomen but Zhao Luo dodged or by grabbing the fist of the apparition.
Zhao Luo pulled him closer and gave him a head butt.
Ahh.
The apparition screamed as his nose started bleeding after Zhao Luo’s counter.
The exchange of attacks continued as another apparition jumped in the scuffle.
They both surrounded Zhao Luo and attacked him at once.
Zhao Luo kept on dodging as he was maintaining a good distance from both of them.
Heh you are my apparitions but I have to say it’s disappointing.
Zhao Luo taunted his apparitions.
These apparitions weren’t just simple puppets. They had feelings too. So they got aggravated and started attacking Zhao Luo more seriously.
Zhao Luo was on the defensive when suddenly he smiled.
It was the moment when one was in front of him and the other was behind him. They both had attacked him. One had thrown a kick at Zhao Luo’s face and the other one was rushing to bash his fist on Zhao Luo’s handsome face.
As their attacks were gonna hit him Zhao Luo went in a crouching position. As he lowered himself quickly the apparitions couldn’t stop their attacks and hit each other.
In the moment of confusion Zhao Luo jumped up from his crouching position and landed his kicks on the chest of his apparitions at the same time.
Zhao Luo himself was quite surprised at how the result came about. He was indeed planning it since he went on the defensive but he didn’t know it would turn out so well.
I feel like a crouching tiger.
Zhao Luo laughed as he compared himself to a martial master. Zhao Luo knew that he had grown stronger.
