Chapter 226: Mission Hall Building
Chapter 226: Mission Hall Building
A moment ago.
Xiao Yu and Pi Hao were making their way towards the white palace. Right then a crying disciple was running in their direction from Zhao Luo’s place.
The crying disciple was none other than Joe Ma.
When Xiao Yu stopped Joe Ma and asked him the reason for his weeping state.
Joe Ma only replied with one name.
Zhao Luo.
Xiao Yu who was busy watching the tears roll down his face didn’t realize that there was a smile on Joe Ma’s face.
Thus Xiao Yu was infuriated and now the misunderstanding had developed into a situation where both Xiao Yu and Zhao Luo were angered.
Zhao Luo who had no idea about why he was getting cursed by a loser stepped towards Xiao Yu.
But before anything could go on Senior Cutie looked in the direction from where the two had come.
It’s a misunderstanding.
Zhao Luo and Xiao Yu looked at their bald senior.
So it’s like this…
He explained to them and told Xiao Yu that he was the one who was in the wrong.
See you idiot.
Zhao Luo commented right after Senior Cutie.
Xiao Yu clenched his fist and bowed his head.
My bad.
He said to Zhao Luo but Zhao Luo wasn’t someone who would even need such a reaction to forgive someone.
It’s alright.
Let’s go to the mission zone.
Zhao Luo told them as he moved past them.
Xiao Yu and Pi Hao looked at each other since Zhao Luo looked like he was in more of a hurry to complete those missions than them.
He has his reasons.
Senior Cutie told them as he was like Zhao Luo too.
The four then set out to the mission hall/zone which was past the black door.
In a few minutes Zhao Luo had left the living zone and was currently walking towards the black door with Senior Cutie Xiao Yu and Pi Hao.
Brother how many missions have you completed?
Pi Hao asked Senior Cutie before staring at Zhao Luo’s back.
‘I can’t believe brother Zhao Luo became an outer disciple just a week ago.’
Pi Hao couldn’t even start wondering about Zhao Luo since he already knew bits of information about Zhao Luo.
I have completed 18 missions. 1 being A-Rank 11 B-rank and 6 C-Rank missions.
Senior Cutie replied in a carefree tone.
It was like he was telling Pi Hao about something common.
Pi Hao’s eyes widened as he heard the number and ranks of missions that Senior Cutie had completed.
It was already incredible for an outer disciple to complete five B-rank missions but Senior Cutie had completed 11 B-rank missions while he also had an A-Rank mission to boost about.
Not to mention the C rank missions that most of the outer disciples try to stack since the C-rank missions are the easiest while awarding 5 points per mission success.
That’s amazing.
Pi Hao who had been dumbstruck suddenly praised Senior Cutie causing him to smile as he tilted his head upwards.
We are here.
Zhao Luo said while his mind was fixed on the five A-Rank missions that they will be going for.
I need to pick the toughest missions.
Zhao Luo mumbled as he stared into the darkness of the black door.
A pressure enveloped him and Zhao Luo felt like he was being pulled inside the door.
Zhao Luo forced his legs downwards as he clenched his fist and tried to stand his ground.
‘Grrr.’
He groaned as the pressure from the door strengthened and Zhao Luo was barely able to resist it.
Beads of sweat covered his forehead.
‘I can’t.’
Just a moment before Zhao Luo could give up and be pulled in the door Xiao Yu and Senior Cutie placed their hands on his shoulder.
You okay?
They asked Zhao Luo who had a confused look on his face.
What was that?
Zhao Luo asked them with shaky eyes.
What?
You guys didn’t feel the devouring force from the door?
Zhao Luo asked them but they all shook their heads.
It’s okay. I know the color sucks.
Senior Cutie suddenly replied as though he could understand what Zhao Luo had gone through just an instant ago.
Hah.
Zhao Luo shook his head.
‘Why can I feel these sensations from all the doors?’
Zhao Luo wondered as he looked around glancing at the red yellow and green doors quickly.
Let’s go.
Senior Cutie entered the mission zone.
Xiao Yu and Pi Hao followed behind him and Zhao Luo was the last to enter the zone.
The moment Zhao Luo entered the mission zone he was rushed by a familiar feeling.
‘Quite similar to my dark space.’
Zhao Luo thought as he walked ahead along with the others.
The mission zone was dark.
Even the floor was dark since black tiles made of glass were used.
Eccentric.
Zhao Luo commented as he looked and found the place to be very irregular from the norm.
Zhao Luo looked ahead and found quite a building with a plaque hanging on top of the front entrance of the building.
Mission Hall.
Even though the building was a single-story the area it covered was unfathomable.
Why is this zone bigger than the library zone?
Zhao Luo wondered as he found just the building of the mission zone to be more than ten times spacious than the library tower.
You will know once we enter the hall.
Senior Cutie said to Zhao Luo.
The four then entered the mission hall.
Right after entering Zhao Luo found hundreds of round tables with seats around them.
Even though it was an early hour hundreds of disciples were already here.
Some were chatting while others were just having a drink.
‘It’s like a bar.’
Zhao Luo thought as he looked at the drunk disciple.
‘Indulging in alcohol right from the beginning. Wow.’
Zhao Luo couldn’t help but feel awed by the resilience of these drunkards who were no less wine connoisseurs when compared to his brother Feng Ma.
