Chapter 4625 - Purple Blood Markings

The black figure within the eye pointed at a white spot on Di Yi's eye. It looked like a tiny pool of white.

"There's something in the pond!" Tianming approached it and saw the silhouette of the Soulfiend. It appeared to be trapped within the white pond. Lingfeng must've been trying to let him know that this was the key out of the situation! Though they hadn't met one another for such a long time, Tianming and Lingfeng still understood each other well enough for words to be unnecessary.

"If I appear now, Di Yi will explode with rage and attack my soul, and I can't afford that while he's so charged up with soul power. However, I'll get a helper if I save the Soulfiend from the white pond."

Tianming quickly made up his mind. Still completely undetectable, he quickly approached the white pond and saw the Soulfiend wildly thrashing around. Its three heads and six arms were sealed off by some kind of power, unable to break free. The purely soul power had formed a cage that utterly trapped the Soulfiend.

"Seems like my cosmic constellation came in really handy this time." Tianming gathered all his power in anticipation. "Now, strike, my siblings!"

He immediately unleashed his most terrifying strike. He used his Sky Plundering Eye and Skypierce Finger to amass a beam of black and gold, instantly shooting it at the white pond. Then, his decapath era godswords assembled into the Carnage Sword Prison's formation, unleashing a boundless amount of lightning sword ki. Next came all his beasts and their offensive abilities, ushering a cacophony of destruction!

Di Yi hadn't expected Tianming to show up in the slightest and was thus completely unprepared to defend himself! The instant when all of Tianming's moves were unleashed, the white pond that was formed from physicalized soul power scattered into nothing, unleashing the Soulfiend immediately. Not only did the Soulfiend not escape, it went deeper into the purple eye to where Lingfeng was, wriggling in an agile manner towards him.

Di Yi's wrath exploded from the sudden assault. Only then did he notice Tianming's presence! The attack from before had such a massive impact that it was as if a meteor had crashed into the eye, causing rumbling explosions where the white pond used to be.

"Li Tianming!" Di Yi's voice rumbled all throughout the Xenoworld, causing everything to shake.

"Little Li, that thing's far too big! We can't destroy it at all!" Ying Huo said in its phoenix form, covered in countless sword-shaped feathers. Though their attacks had left many holes on the purple eye, it was nothing more than a mosquito bite relative to the eye's entire size. The ocean barely rippled from the tiny stone that fell into it. Even Tianming's Skypierce Finger beam only left a slightly larger hole than the rest, which quickly recovered from the boundless energy of the Xenoworld.

"Die!" Di Yi instantly lost it. The massive eye glared furiously at Tianming, shocked by how he had come out of nowhere and saved the Soulfiend during such a critical juncture. Even so, the depths of the purple eye were incredibly cold. "Li Tianming, you broke into hell even when there's no door for you to break through. I see that you got sick of living."

As he spoke, billions of purple bloody veins formed within the eye as it devolved into a rampaging state. Tiny eyeballs sprouted from the countless veins. Some of the veins even sank deeper to try to catch the Soulfiend in the eye while others stretched out towards Tianming and his beasts like tree vines, covering the entire area!

Tianming still felt that the entire Xenoworld was rumbling. The veins were about to swallow Tianming and his beasts whole, constantly battering upon their bodies and causing quite a bit of damage. The tiny purple eyes fell off the veins and tried to infest Tianming's cosmic-god physique. This was what made xenofiends so terrifying in the first place. There were so many falling eyes that they seemed almost impossible to avoid.

"Skyblaze Cosmic Inferno!" Tianming's sword formation and weapon in hand flashed, unleashing flames into the surroundings and forcing the tiny purple eyes away. What he didn't expect, however, was how the purple veins also unleashed terrifying storms of soul power that were able to completely ignore the blazing sword formation! Tianming's tripartite soul got damaged by the rampaging storms!

"How powerful!" He grit his teeth, enduring the pain that spread from his soul towards the rest of his body, constantly thrown around by the storm.
