Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 4586 - Unification!

  • Next Chapter

News of the events in the Yueling Starcage and Nullity spread like wildfire.

Soon, another shocking announcement emerged from Nullity, leaving countless people and cosmic gods with mixed emotions.

The Realm of Chaos would henceforth fall under the rule of the Tianming Dynasty.

Ever since repelling the combined invasion of Aquamarine, Torch Dragon, and Jie Ba, the cosmic gods of Vermilion Bird had remained uneasy, knowing the final battle was still ahead.

But now, they could finally sleep easy. They fully trusted Tianming’s character and believed strife and suffering would gradually disappear.

Meanwhile, many of the criminals who had once followed Prince Liehun’s rebellion turned pale with despair. They knew there were be no second chances for scum who betrayed their own people. Before long, all of them would be executed.

On Violetblitz, the firemaple race erupted into ecstatic celebration, while the violetblitzians looked utterly devastated as they knew the entire starfield would now fall under firemaple rule.

Even the name “Violetblitz Starcage” might soon be a thing of the past and become “Firemaple Starcage.”

That decision would rest on Imperator Feng.

The fierce civil wars in Torch Dragon and Aquamarine also ceased. It was all so meaningless now. Soon, Li Tianming’s forces would arrive to take control of the two imperial-class worlds.

The Yueling Starcage required even less explanation. It had already stabilized under Yueling Fu’s management and was simply waiting for the dynasty’s officials to formally assume control.

The unification of the Realm of Chaos marked another great milestone for his Tianming Dynasty. Yet the man didn’t relax in the slightest as he knew the truly difficult battle still lay ahead.

Di Yi and his remaining fellows would be far harder to deal with. Huang Qi’s attitude alone proved that much. Even Shen Wu’s death had instilled no confidence toward Tianming in her.

Tianming believed Huang Qi understood the situation clearly and possessed the most accurate understanding of Di Yi and the others’ strength. If she still refused to yield, then they were undoubtedly terrifying beyond imagination.

After announcing the unification of the universe, Tianming returned to the Kunruler Palace.

Along the way, he saw Chen Hao, Chen Yao, and Xing Que celebrating alongside their Vermilion Bird cosmic gods.

He also saw Li Yanfeng and Jiang Cheng conversing quietly. Though relieved, traces of worry still lingered in their expressions. Clearly, they remained concerned about Li Muyang and the others.

Everywhere he went, he was met with reverence.

“Funny,” Tianming said with a shake of his head. “Even after everything, I still don’t have omnisentient threads. I once thought some special condition was required, but now it seems this world truly lacks order itself. Without order, there’s no soil for sentient lines to take root.”

Then another thought occurred to him. “If this universe really is a corpse, then what part of the body is this? Why is it so unique? Why does it completely lack order?”

That was something Tianming still could not understand.

Bai Ye chuckled. “Then keep getting stronger, Little Li. Once you get as big as the Primordial God-Emperor, you’ll can check what part of your body this Realm of Chaos corresponds to.”

Tianming laughed helplessly. “That sounds impossibly far away.”

He finally reached Kunruler Palace.

He stopped before the spot where the hundred-thousand-year-old portrait had once hung, recalling the black-dressed girl in the green heart who had clung to it until she vanished into nothingness.

Quietly, all alone, she had stayed here beside him for decades. And in her eyes, the man who finally returned had never been the Li Tianming she truly loved.

No matter what... wait for me. Tianming silently made his vow.

At that moment, Jiang Qingluan’s familiar and graceful figure appeared.

The girl in the red dress pouted. “Little thief, judging from your expression, you’re planning to become a hands-off ruler, aren’t you? Dump all the work onto my father and Uncle Feng, then run back off yourself?”

Tianming rubbed his forehead helplessly. “I can’t help it. There are still four more Aeternal Beings allied with them. If I don’t return, war will eventually reach this universe again.”

“I know already.” Jiang Qingluan rolled her eyes. “It’s not like I’m stopping you. You don’t have to explain so much.”

She paused before continuing more softly. “I know you have allies over there. Here, none of us can really help you. But no matter what, be careful. If you die, I definitely won’t cry for you.”

Though she spoke lightly, sadness still flickered in her eyes.

After a moment of silence, she looked at him again.

“Tianming... you said your parents and the others only left temporarily. They’re alright, right?”

“They’re fine. Don’t worry.” Tianming nodded, then smiled faintly. “Managing the Tianming Dynasty is too much work anyway. Why not leave it all to you? I already have a complete legal system in place over there. You could help govern the world.”

Jiang Qingluan pursed her lips mischievously and stepped closer. “I only work for a salary.”

Tianming sighed helplessly. “The entire world is already yours. What more reward do you want?”

She snorted softly. “The thing I want most... you can’t give me.”

Her eyes filled with reluctance.

“You brought back a lot of those red spheres this time, didn’t you? If we meet again someday... who knows how tall you’ll be by then.”

As she spoke, she finally gathered her courage and wrapped her arms around him.

Tianming stiffened instantly. Feeling the warmth of her soft body against him, he let out a soft sigh.

Then the girl murmured softly, “Actually... I know there’s another Jiang Qingluan in your world too. If I ever get the chance, I’d really like to meet her... and see what kind of person she is.”
